Review: Membership was cancelled in December (12/**) & final payment was made over the phone by credit card in the amount of $48.97 per the termination of contract. A different card was used than on the recurring monthly payment due to a fraud issue. Approval was given over the phone for 1 payment only on the card given. On January **- The same card was charged $39.00 without approval for a "rate freeze". I called and told them that the contract was over, I didnt give approval for this charge, and that I didnt need a rate freeze due to the contract being complete & that I would like a refund. Customer support person was not helpful, nor could give any reason for the charge, and could not put me through to a supervisor (I am currently waiting for a call back from them) I called my credit card company to dispute the charge, and apparently this company requires a cancellation in writing, which was never mentioned when I called - and in fact you NEED to call to cancel your membership, its not something that can be done online or through an email. My company put the charge on hold because of the recent fraud activity on my card, but if I didnt have that activity recently I would have had no recourse against this companyDesired Settlement: What they are doing is a very shady business practice, taking funds from people without authorization, not providing the information needed on a timely basis and have extremely poor customer support

Review: I recently cancelled my membership at the NYSC effective 10/**/13. In the Spring of 2013 I had signed up for locker & laundry service at this location. I paid 12 months in advance. When I cancelled my membership in October I was told repeatedly that they could refund me for the un-used months of my locker & laundry service that I had pre-paid. Since cancelling my membership I have called this location of the NYSC at least 5 times and never received a call back. I stopped by in late October and was told by the manager that I would automatically receive a credit when my membership ended on 10/** for the un-used locker & laundry service. This automatic credit has never been posted and my calls have not been returned when I have checked in on this. It should not be this hard to get a call returned.Desired Settlement: Please credit me for the unused months of locker & laundry service as we discussed.
