Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by New York Methodist Hospital regarding complaint ID [redacted] .Sincerely, [redacted]

To whom it may concern: This email is in response to a letter received from the Revdex.com on 7/*/regarding a patient of New York Methodist hospital Patient *** *** was seen in the Emergency Room on 12/**/and triagedWhile in the ER the patient received
treatment for two different medical issues. The Attending in the ED signed off on the Clinical discharge summary, referred the patient to two different clinics and provided her with a prescription. As a general practice, all Self Pay patients seen in the Emergency Room are referred to an outside agency for collection. The patient's total bill was $1,which is the standard ER level charge. Due to the patient's hardship NYM/the collection agency provided her with a discount of Charity Care in the amount of $leaving her with a balance of $ This is not a issue of billing fraud as the patient seems to be alleging. Our records indicate services were provided, therefore the patient is responsible for her remaining balance Thank you, Melanie W*** Compliance Coordinator New York Methodist Hospital *** *** ***

When I seen the ED I was specifically told the discoloring of my lip was "not an emergency, I could not be treated at the moment, and for me to go see a primary care about the situation." He was in the room all but minute and left out and came back in with print outs of a prescription for a skin rash and information on a skin rashI was in for discoloring of my bottom lip, that has nothing to do with eczema or a skin rashIf it "weren't an emergency or it could not be treated at the time", why did he prescribe me anythingI went into the ER worried and confused, and left out of the ER twice as worried and three times more confusedUntil this day I am still unsure as to what was causing my bottom lip to turn completely black, I was not helped at all or even educated on the possibilities of what it was or what it may beI continued to have the discoloration for monthsThe hospital can check their records, I never went to fill the prescriptions because it was irrelevant to my issue and I did not have a rash be I was told it was not an emergency for him, and that he could not treat meYet it was filed that I was treated for medical issues, now that is fraud.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above
Sincerely,
