Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: First off, thank you so much for taking the time to follon this issue. The primary concern of my complaint was dismissed and I am confused by the specific comment about endeavouring to provide excellent customer service: I was told I was being put through to a [redacted] at which point I was forwarded in to a voice mailI left detailed concerns around this issue and did not hear anything backPerhaps I missed the excellent service in thatThe primary issue I have here, and I really feel that this is meritous, is the amount that they charged me, without asking nor giving any quote for servicesThe hospital likes to refer to the insurer as though they were the ones setting the price, however, it was they who charged me $7k+ without so much as a question if that was okOnce the insurance lowered the amount they would pay (i.e- in effect told the hospital that their amount was not acceptable), I was then passed along $1,in chargesAs I told the first person with whom I spoke to, had I known that they were going to charge me $1,for the tests, I would have declined them. Its not beyond me that, in some form, this is how our health care system 'works', however, in this instance (I frequently receive co-pays of amounts in the $- $range and simply pay them without hesitation), I truly believe this is a completely ridiculous sum to charge someone without first getting their approvalIs there any way in which the Revdex.com can help out? If nothing else, I feel it is a deceptive and dishonest approach to care - in what other part of your life would someone charge you $1,without first giving you some sort of indication of what your financial responsibility would be.Thank you in advance for your assistance.Best regards, [redacted] In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Yeah not so much They never reached out to me, were thoroughly dishonest and rude in every communication but...have control of the billing systemProbably the right medium to resolve this issue on a more comprehensive basis is not through the Revdex.com, however I again greatly appreciate your taking the time. For the record, they really behaved reprehensibly and likely will in general so I hope future consumers check these files and I strongly encourage you to post these records that [redacted] behaves deceptively, dishonestly, incompetently and arrogantly in their affairs and should be avoided at all costs.Sincerely, [redacted]

[redacted] processed WCINYP claims at the incorrect rates for a period of time (mid- August service dates to early November) and subsequently reprocessed the claims at the correct contracted rates, which might have resulted in higher out-of-pocket responsibilities for some patients. That is what...

happened in this case – [redacted] initially processed it at a much lower rate and after it reprocessed at the correct rate under our contract, the patient responsibility was higher. There was no change to our billing – but when it was requested that [redacted] correct their system issue and reprocess claims the patient responsibility amounts changed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

First off, thank you so much for taking the time to follow-up on this issue. The primary concern of my complaint was dismissed and I am confused by the specific comment about endeavouring to provide excellent customer service: I was told I was being put through to a [redacted] at which point I was forwarded in to a voice mail. I left detailed concerns around this issue and did not hear anything back. Perhaps I missed the excellent service in that. The primary issue I have here, and I really feel that this is meritous, is the amount that they charged me, without asking nor giving any quote for services. The hospital likes to refer to the insurer as though they were the ones setting the price, however, it was they who charged me $7k+ without so much as a question if that was ok. Once the insurance lowered the amount they would pay (i.e. - in effect told the hospital that their amount was not acceptable), I was then passed along $1,143 in charges. As I told the first person with whom I spoke to, had I known that they were going to charge me $1,143 for the tests, I would have declined them. Its not beyond me that, in some form, this is how our health care system 'works', however, in this instance (I frequently receive co-pays of amounts in the $20 - $200 range and simply pay them without hesitation), I truly believe this is a completely ridiculous sum to charge someone without first getting their approval. Is there any way in which the Revdex.com can help out? If nothing else, I feel it is a deceptive and dishonest approach to care - in what other part of your life would someone charge you $1,143 without first giving you some sort of indication of what your financial responsibility would be.Thank you in advance for your assistance.Best regards,**

Review: Attempting to contact obstetrics and gynecology office [redacted] 12 floor at the Presbyterian hospital at the phone umber ###-###-####. I am trying to make an ultrasound appointment for one week and no one picks up the phone, After 3 rings it says leave a voicemail that they are on the other line it is very hard to believe such a prestigious hospital only has one line for this department, left voicemail no one contacts me back today 12.**15 finally got through and guess what please hold says the receptionist and puts me on hold for 15 mins! I hang up again 4 hrs before I can get through and am now on hold for 25 mins, I am furious I cannot believe I have called back to back up to 20x and when I get through im put on hold for half an hour what type of practice is this? I will report this as high as it needs to go and put all info on every social media site possible to ensure everyone knows of your horrible service! I tried to paste proof of how long im on hold for as I have a screen shot but cannot add it to this forum.Desired Settlement: Contact me from this office and please let me know a great reason why there is only one line, no one calls back and why you are auto put on hold by a receptionist without even saying hello how are you for 30mins without even being acknowledged!
