technical issuesWhich in that case I dont think NYSP is at faultThe NYSP online course is designed to be an easy registration process, and gives you days to complete coursedays in which you can log in and log out at your leisureOur ONLINE customer service department is a California based locationSo I dont see how or where the "Brooklynese attitude" can come inWe issue Full refunds to whomever is unhappy with the course, all they have to do is contact us *** ***

There was an Instructor who taught the class and TWENTY THREE people who found there way into the classroom an d completed the course. We do not know why [redacted] was not one of them nor can we confirm what time, if at all, she arrived at the class site - Once the class is in session the doors are locked and no one is permitted in (as per [redacted] regulation). We can send a copy of the class roster sheet with 23 signatures and a copy of the email confirmation sent to [redacted] and any other information needed. At this time, I have been...

contacted directly by New York Safety Program regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[Your Answer Here] They say that there were no technical problems on their part that prevented me from accessing their system. Therefore, I will have to start the process over at the beginning. In my view this is very unfair as I completed 3 sections (5 Hours of work) before their system did not allow me access during completion of the last section.?

Dear [redacted],   In response to your letter dated November **, 2014, We apologize for the inconvenience  to the costumer but the security and regulations set forth by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles in New York State prevents us from allowing any customer to “…restart where I left off with no penalty.” The customer is given 30 days in which to complete the six hours of online instruction required to receive the NYS benefits provided on completion of the course. This was explained in our prior response(attached). [redacted]

Review: Registered online to take defensive driving course. Paid fee and started taking six hour course. After about 5 total hours course time with 5 pages left in the last section to be completed I was asked to verify myself by calling in and answering a security question. This had happened many times before during the course progress with few problems. I called in and got electronic noise that sounded like a fax machine which prevented me from answering my security question.

I was then prompted to log in again.

I did and was again prompted to call in to answer a security question. I called and got electronic noise again preventing me from answering security question.

I was then informed that I failed the course and would have to start over (no charge).

Having invested 5 hrs plus in a really boring course when I was almost done only to be failed because of technical difficulties is not a fair outcome.Desired Settlement: I would like to be allowed to restart where I left off with no penalty.

They should have a mechanism to allow for technical problems.

They say it was a problem with my phone and not their system. My telephone has been problem free all day on other communications.

Their fax number is the same as their phone number and it sounded like I connected to their fax when I called in.
