Review: I have placed an order for two backdrops from backdrops.us (New York Sound LLC) on February **, 2014 via website [redacted]

I have received an initial email on Feb **, 2014 confirming my order.

After two weeks (time period listed on website) I was supposed to receive an update about shipping date. Since March ** I have been trying to contact anyone to find out any information but no luck. The phone number listed on the website [redacted] is not being answered during any hours. I have left several (at least 5) messages, I have placed 5 service ticket on website (website states that tickets will be answered within 24 hours or less) , I have sent letters via regular mail to addresses listed on backdrops.us website. I have not received ANY response. On March **I discovered that my credit card was charged on March **which is only 2 days after I placed an order. However, website lists a slightly different policy. They are supposed hold the money and charge the cc right before shipping. So, my CC is charged and I don't have any information whether I will ever receive my two backdrops.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a phone call form the owner of New York Sound LLC who would have information about my order. If I don't receive the order by April **, I would like to get a full refund for my purchase (two backdrops). including shipping charges. I have no use for this backdrops if they don't arrive in timely manner, my event will take place on April **and if I don't have backdrops that I ordered I have no use for them later.

Review: Repeated attempts to contact this business about a pending order have gone unanswered. I have called various different times of day and days of week with no answer. I have left voicemail message with no response. I have tried to utilize the website online chat forum with no response. I have emailed with no response. I have file a customer service inquiry with their online ticket system with no response. Further inquiry with "ticket" number has gone unanswered. It seems as if they have gone out of business and are no longer available at any time. My pending order was supposed to arrive for an event this week, it did not.Desired Settlement: I would like the amount of my unfulfilled order refunded and I would like them to no longer accept orders if they are not in business anymore. I placed an order thinking it would be honored and now I'm in a pinch without the product I need. If you are in business, please respond to your paying customers when they try to contact you!
