New York Yankees Reviews (6)

Review: I recently purchased tickets for a NY Yankees Game. When I went to print my tickets online I was unable to do so. I have now emailed and have called to only not receieve a response and been placed on hold for 50 minutes with no service.Desired Settlement: I would like to be able to print my tickets and attend the game. I am very frustrated.

Review: I was a season ticket holder with the Yankees since 2002 and did not renew laat year for the 2014 season

I have an $800 credit balance on my account from 2013 playoff tickets paid for but not played and from tickets sold on their resale site.

After 6 months of contacting the yankees they have not refunded me this money or given any explanation for the delay.Desired Settlement: I would like my credit balance refunded to me

Review: 2 issues. One with the food line and one with crowd usher / steward. I'll start with food. I wanted a slider set of 3 and garlic/cheese fries. I go up there and was forced to buy a slider combo that did not include garlic/cheese fries. That's a con. I was unable to receive just one order of fries, I was forced to buy an extra set of fries without discount. Then the sliders were terrible, overcooked, at $12. If I'm going to what is supposed to be a premiere stadium, I want more bang for my buck. The tix were 2 for $130 in section 209. The concession con game was terrible, costing $20 until I finally got the sliders, extra unneeded fries, and the somewhat tasty garlic/cheese fries. I don't want to go to a ball game and feel conned by the food ordering. Then with the game situation bases loaded, the guy in front of me had an issue with the person sitting there about their being in the wrong seat. He's standing up, blocking view, and boom, grandslam. He could have waited until the bat was over, which is the ethics I assume at any ball game anywhere, especially with players in scoring position. I would go to games in Phoenix of all places, a young franchise, we were always stopped by the usher during at-bats. Later in the game, I got up to go to the bathroom. When I walk back to seats I pass the usher without question. I get no request to wait for the at-bat to finish, and decide to wait on my own. Then, the usher woman had the AUDACITY to tell me I can't stand there waiting to go down to the seat. How are these ushers being trained? They don't look at ticket and don't organize patrons to seat per game situation? I was denied an opportunity to see a grandslam on my one of very few outings of the year on my incredibly low substitute teacher income. I have to go to a game and watch people standing up, then got conned at the darn concession? What kind of operation are you trying to pull.Desired Settlement: I'd like for you to issue new changes in operation of usher practice and pricing for fries and other unfair concession issues. All of NY can have their con artists and half-wits on the streets, we don't need them as part of a game. I wish for money back but to be fair, those screw ups weren't worth $130 because I saw the rest of the game, outside of the best part. The best part grand slam is at least worth half price, it'd be nice if you compensated with tickets to me for which I'll go or donate to some kids if I don't feel like dealing with the game experience again this year.

Review: Had tickets (Section 226, Row 19, Seats 15-18) for June [redacted] game at 7:05pm vs Dodgers that got rained out. Announcement at game was that ALL tickets were good for following day 1:00pm game or any game for rest of the season (These tickets cost $450 thru Yankee Ticket Exchange - A division of the NY Yankees). On my way home I called and was told the same thing from Yankees box office (since game was 18 hours later they would honor). Been spenidng hours trying to exchange the tickets for another game (not a refund) and can't get anywhere. Spoke to [redacted] at the Ticket Exchange, [redacted] at the Yankees and called and left message and e-mailed [redacted] and still cant get them to honor these tickets. This seem crazy and poor advertising and miscommunication on the parts of both the YANKEES AND THE TICKET EXCHANGE. I can understand normal policy but when game is scheduled 18 hours later and goes from day to night game that it changes the entire scheduling, etc. YANKEES need to honor these tickets (After all they got my $451.35)Desired Settlement: Exchange for another game

Review: The NY Yankees have stated in numerous emails to season ticket holders that the commission charged when selling tickets on the TicketExchange is "...limited to five percent of the purchase price of the resale transaction...". They have been rounding the listing price up to the nearest whole dollar, resulting in a commission being charged above 5% (maximum amount per ticket is $ 0.99). The Ticket Master TicketExchange has stated that they notified Kevin D[redacted] of the NYY about this change and that it was approved. The explanation from the Yankees was that they were charging 5% as evidenced by my invoices showing the 5% fee and the exact resale price not rounded to the nearest dollar. However, when I go through the purchase of a ticket on the TicketExchange, there is no price adjustment to the purchaser.Desired Settlement: I expect a refund of the amount charged above 5% for all season ticket holders that have been a victim of this deceitful advertising/fee practice.

I paid $ 250.00 each ticket and was not accomodated as advertised.I wrote an email one week after the game and never received an answer from the NY Yankees.
