Regards,
*** *** ** ***MrD*** did threaten our family. There is no truth in what he said about our family being bankrupt except that he was going to take us to court if we did not hire him We hired an attorney who specializes in such matters and MrD*** was notified by certified mail that all communication will be done through our attorney We also hired three expert roofing specialist and well known roofers to come out and look at our roof for their opinion as to how bad our roof was All three roofers walked our roof and not one of the three said our roof needed replaced It turned out to be something entirely different One of those roofers said they were dealing with another family who also was having issues with MrD*** Mr.D***s numerous complaints from other people who hired him have had similar experiences with threats from Mr D***

There was damage done to one of the bedroom windows on the second floor, the wood all had to be replaced on the roof and the drywall fixed on the inside of the home. This was all due to the original material not being properly installed

Business said his installer told him it was fixed but is waiting for rain to test if ok

10/19-Mr*** said the customer and the installer have made arrangements for the installer to go thereHe can provide details later

As of this date, May 17, Mr*** has not made contact to inform me of the results of the March 23, inspection of my driveway nor he responded to my multiple telephone calls to himAlthough his attorney, John ** ***, of *** * *** *** stated in his March 24, letter that Mr*** would contact me to resolve the issue of the damage to my driveway; neither Mr*** nor Mr*** has had the professional courtesy to contact meI am still extremely dissatisfied with Rescue Roofing performance and customer service

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Revdex.com ResponseI went to the ***’ property on June 24, With my vast experience in the business and the ability to use satellite technology, climbing up on the roof is usually not necessary, and was not necessary in this caseMy disabilities notwithstanding (and also not relevant), I
determined that an insurance claim could be made to replace the roofI proposed my standard contract to the ***, and did not try to hide anything with my handIf they had questions about the contract at that time, I was there to answer themThey were also given three (3) business days to rescind their signatures, which is not required by law but offered by meThey did not rescind within the three-day period, and I began preparing information to be submitted their insurance company on their behalfWhen the *** tried t rescind, I told them they were past the three-day limit and I would expect the benefits of the contract we had signedThe *** brought up that they had just come out of a recent bankruptcy, and I did not comment on the subjectI did not threaten to bankrupt the ***, but told them I had the legal right to enforce the contract

10/21=Mr*** called to say that the interior work has been completed as of today

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I have been dealing with this problem for a solid year. At no time has the owner Mr*** been remorseful or as any honest and trustworthy contractor you would expect expedited any resolution to either remedy the destruction to my property or offer a monetary settlement. Sending a letter from his attorney regarding the former employees he fired has absolutely no bearing on my situation. Mr*** has been consistently belligerent, combative, insulting and completely evasive. I have placed hundreds of phone calls, filed formal complaints, all to no avail. I paid an exorbitant amount of money for a roof replacement because I thought he was honest. He is not! When my rotted soffits were not replaced, and I questioned his foreman, I was told Mr*** instructed him not to replace themEven though he told me Mr*** they absolutely should have been taken care of. When I addressed this with Mr***, he pointed out our contract only stated a new roof and it was my assumption. Never has Mr*** apologized or attempted to make anything just or right. He became combative and aggressive. In addition, when his workers parked their dumpster on my circular driveway (which was blocked with a barricade so no one would park there) the small cracks that were originally there, tbecame completely cracked through and has sunk. Again, he defended and never apologized or offered to make this right. He has dragged my situation out for a year and I have never been offered one red centNothing! I can't accept a resolution because NOTHING HAS BEEN OFFERED. I have been totally taken advantage of and completely scammed
Regards,
*** ***

I have just been contacted by Mr. [redacted] who stated that an inspection of the damage to your concrete driveway was made yesterday and he is awaiting the results of this ilnspection in order to resolve this issue of damage allegedly done to your driveway during the roof installation. If you have...

any questions you contact him directly at [redacted].John [redacted]Attorney at Law

The document says it's a contract at the very beginning. Business said the customer signed and initialed where the contract says "no written estimates". Business said he does everything by the law.

This law firm was contacted by Mr. [redacted] of Rescue Roofing & Home Improvement with regard to a customer complaint, Mr. [redacted] had done an insurance claim for Mr. [redacted] over a year ago. Materials are warranted by the manufacturer; labor is only warranted for one (1) year. A few weeks back Mr....

[redacted] called indicating he had a roof leak. Mr. [redacted] gave no specific facts and it took several days for Mr. [redacted] to locate his contract and file. He immediately sent a crew out to repair the roof. Mr. [redacted] seems to indicate that the problem was not resolved.According to Rescue Roofing, the leak has been repaired; as to any inside damage, the manufacturer reimbursed Rescue Roofing for the drywall that had been damaged. Rescue Roofing put up the drywall but did not finish off the room as labor was no longer covered under warranty. Accordingly, if Mr. [redacted] wants the job finished by Rescue Roofing, Mr. [redacted] would be more than glad to do that, but there will be a labor charge associated therewith. In addition, there will also be a labor charge for fixing the roof since the warranty had expired. We regret the situation, but there is always a chance that weather will at times cause material to fail; the manufacture complied with their warranty for material. Mr. [redacted] has done what he can to service this customer and doesn't feel there is any further obligation absent a contract by Mr. [redacted] with Rescue Roofing to complete the restoration. We hope this answers Mr. [redacted]'s complaint and that no further action needs to be taken. Absent Mr. [redacted]'s direct communication with Rescue Roofing as to completion of the inside repairs. If there is still a weather leak, Mr. [redacted] should advise Rescue Roofing as soon as possible.

Dear Ms. [redacted]:I previously
corresponded with you regarding Mr. [redacted] attempt to get estimates for the repair
of your driveway and to make an offer to settle this matter. He has contacted
an individual by the name of Matt of the [redacted]. According to Mx. [redacted], your driveway has been inspected and he
has secured an estimate for the repair of $1,400.00. The inspector noted that
part of thedamage to your driveway was a result of the fact that there is no
rebar          steel support rods, in the driveway) and a good amount of soil has washed away from under the
driveway resulting in additional damage.Jn view of this, Mr. [redacted] feels that he is responsible for 50% of the
driveway damage and 100% for the replacement of your tree, He is prepared to
offer you the sum of $800.00 which represents half of the driveway repair and
$100.00 for the replacement of the tree. The [redacted] also indicated that for an additional sum they could redo your driveway
completely, which you could discuss with them.If this offer is
acceptable, please contact Mr. [redacted] directly and he will issue the sum of
$800.00 to you, as a full and complete
settlement of this matter.Very Truly Yours,[redacted]
