My pet dog was infested with fleas while boarded over Thanksgiving at Newberry Animal Hospital and now has a bacterial infection
We left our dog for boarding for Thanksgiving at Newberry Animal Hospital on 11/19/and planned to pick her up on 11/28/When I picked her up on the 28th, the first thing I noticed was that she was thin and gaunt as if she had lost weight I took her home and immediately bathed her because her paws were dirty The next morning I noticed the dog had shed massive amounts of hair and that she was scratching ferociously After work, I bathed her again, this time with flea shampoo As I dried her, she began whimpering as if she was in pain I called Newberry Animal Hospital on 12/1/to see if there was a problem with fleas at their location I spoke with a very rude Dr*** (male) who said that they check every dog that comes in for fleas and that if my dog currently had fleas then she had them before she arrived at their location This is COMPLE
