[redacted] brought Lilly(kitten) in for examination and treatment on August 10, 2015. She put the kitten on her account under her name. She did not tell us to put it under her mothers name. We treated the cat and the bill was paid...

in cash. The receipt was issued in her name. On September 28, 2015, [redacted] brought the cat in for coughing, vomiting, and a watery eye and gave us her name to put on the file. [redacted] authorized treatment on the cat. The total for the bill came to $292.00. The account wss paid with three checks on [redacted]'s mothers account. These checks bounced. With the overdraft fees, the account balance is $388.45. We notified Ms [redacted] when the first check bounced and she told us that it was due to banking errors. She assured us that she would take care of it immediately. After all three checks bounced, she called and told us that it was her moms cat and she wanted it off of her account and did not want to be responsible for the bill. We explained that since she brought the cat in and authorized treatment she was responsible for the bill and that if it was not paid she would be sent to collections.

I never brought in the cat the first time. And when I dropped off the cat for watery eyes and vomiting I told them I was dropping it off for my mom. They never called or talked to ME about checks bouncing.

When the cat was brought in the first time, the cat was put on her account because we were told to put it there. This really doesn't affect the second visit. On the second visit, [redacted] brought the cat in and she authorized treatment. Therefore, she is responsible for the bill. We cannot transfer a bad debt to another client's account. This can easily be cleared up by paying the bill.

It's not my cat. Both of my parents are the ones who picked up the cat and they did tell the person at the desk that it was THEIR cat. My parents are claiming bankruptcy and that's why they're not transferring the bill. After my mom told them that she was claiming bankruptcy they still tried to cash the checks. They need to put the cat on my parents account. I will not be held responsible for the bill
