discovered the table was badly damaged. It looked like the table had gotten wet and something hot had been placed on top of it. We took pictures and forwarded them to the manufacturer. The manufacturer said he would not replace the table top because the damage was the result of neglect. It would cost me $450 to replace it and I cannot afford to do that. I called and told her the manufacturer said she would not replace the table because the damage was not workmanship but was the result of neglect. Her son came in a week later and was very rude and threatening. I felt bad for the elderly lady and called her back told her that I knew a re-finisher who would refinish the table for $150 to $200 and I agreed to pay half. I told her I would pick the table up and take it to the re-finisher and then take it back to her home. I did not hear anything more until I got this complaint.
