Complaint [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This does nothing to address my claim advertising is advertising In TEXT, your ad, before you changed it, clearly labeled this car as a [redacted] , with sunroof, [redacted] and leather seatsI have the email from cargurus.com, sent before you edited it AFTER I visited there and informed you your ad was a lie You took no responsibility then, as you are still doing now Yet you changed it later. As far as "still showing interest," this is not true I was told by cargurus.com that the only way I could post a review of a dealer was if I first contact the dealer through their website, and that only then they would allow me to review the dealer days later So I had to go through the exercise of filling out an "interest in car" form, since originally I had just called the dealer on their phone and not used the website I am now waiting for days so I can post my review.Whether or not I ALSO visited my sister in [redacted] which is still minutes away from your dealership, is not relevant to this claim at all.Your pictures did not show the roof of the car, so there was not way to tell the sunroof was not there There was also no way to tell that it did not have Bluetooth I can honestly say it also is not clear how a photo would show that seats are leather or not, since I am not a professional car buyer I definitely was not able to see from the photo what the seats were made of Sincerely, [redacted]

advertising is advertising In TEXT, your ad, before you changed it, clearly labeled this car as a *** ***, with sunroof, *** and leather seatsI have the email from cargurus.com, sent before you edited it AFTER I visited there and informed you your ad was a lie You took no responsibility then, as you are still doing now Yet you changed it laterAs far as "still showing interest," this is not true I was told by cargurus.com that the only way I could post a review of a dealer was if I first contact the dealer through their website, and that only then they would allow me to review the dealer days later So I had to go through the exercise of filling out an "interest in car" form, since originally I had just called the dealer on their phone and not used the website I am now waiting for days so I can post my reviewWhether or not I ALSO visited my sister in *** which is still minutes away from your dealership, is not relevant to this claim at allYour pictures did not show the roof of the car, so there was not way to tell the sunroof was not there There was also no way to tell that it did not have Bluetooth I can honestly say it also is not clear how a photo would show that seats are leather or not, since I am not a professional car buyer I definitely was not able to see from the photo what the seats were made of

There is and was no advertising or attempts to deceiveA mistake was made, which does sometimes happen, but the pictures on *** and the website clearly show the options or lack there ofMr***, obviously saw the pictures before he came down to the dealership and was just trying to use a mistake on our part in order to strong arm us into a better dealThey say a picture tells a thousand word, and clearly the pictures I have included which are on cargurus and our website, and that Mr*** viewed prior to coming down to our dealership show the options of this vehicleThanks* ***

This complaint is a complete fabricationFirst, let me explain that Mr*** was already coming to Connecticut to visit his sister, so he was already in the areaHe chose to come see our car and make a deposit over the phone while only seeing the picturesMr*** *ade it clear that
he could only come down on Sunday afternoon, which is my day off, but I sacrificed my personal time with my family in order to accommodate Mr*** The pictures alone, that M** ***r observed clearly, show the options of the vehicleM** ***r should have paid more attention to the picturesAlso, Mr*** says he was duped into thinking this was a great deal, but car gurus still shows the car as of 10/25/as a great dealLastly, M** ***r yesterday 10/24/still showed interest through car gurus, in this vehicle even with the corrections to the description being madeI made it clear to M** ***r the exact price with our dealer conveyance, which is a Connecticut dealer feeI'm not sure what else M** ***r wants but we would still like to sell him a car and he is still clearly interested in it, so he should either come down or call and we will sell him this car

Complaint[redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:This does nothing to address my claim.  False advertising is false advertising.  In TEXT, your ad, before you changed it, clearly labeled this car as a [redacted], with sunroof, [redacted] and leather seats. I have the email from cargurus.com, sent before you edited it AFTER I visited there and informed you your ad was a lie.  You took no responsibility then, as you are still doing now.  Yet you changed it later. As far as "still showing interest," this is not true.  I was told by cargurus.com that the only way I could post a review of a dealer was if I first contact the dealer through their website, and that only then they would allow me to review the dealer 5 days later.  So I had to go through the exercise of filling out an "interest in car" form,  since originally I had just called the dealer on their phone and not used the website.   I am now waiting for 5 days so I can post my review.Whether or not I ALSO visited my sister in [redacted] which is still 90 minutes away from your dealership, is not relevant to this claim at all.Your pictures did not show the roof of the car, so there was not way to tell the sunroof was not there.  There was also no way to tell that it did not have Bluetooth.  I can honestly say it also is not clear how a photo would show that seats are leather or not, since I am not a professional car buyer.  I definitely was not able to see from the photo what the seats were made of.
Sincerely,
