I am rejecting this response because:MrNewman was the one that told me if I scrapped the rest of my rooms he would reduce the costAs far as it all being scrapped when he arrived that was a lieMy master bed and bathroom had no plaster on them ceilings when he quoted the $The day I called him to tell him I had the $he told me that if I could move anything out of them rooms that would also deduct the cost MrNewman told me after plastering them two rooms that the cost would be lowered if I removed the plasterHe knew I was having to get the money from bank before work could beginThe final day he had to ask me what he quoted for the work because I was going to write the check thenHe never once told me that it was patch work and if I had known it was going to be doubled I would of never had it done because I had to refinance the car and made the payments go upAs for all them hours I only got totals no break down of actual hoursI didn't get any hours on how much he worked each dayI am a school bus driver and I go by my mobile home times a day and most the time his truck was gone when I would do after school route at 3:p.mThis is a Mobile home that the ceilings was done in and square footage Actually I am going to get estimates because of the work he didI have taken pictures where he didn't clean trimming, he pulled the stain off of two strips of ceiling trimThere is cracks along trimHe also left clusters of plaster on door trimmingSincerely *** ***
Actually, I should be the one filing a complaintthe customer received a brand new ceiling on the entire homeI had given a quote of $for only repairing the defective areas, which were one in each room, about a 2' circle.When *** *** called and said she was ready to have me go ahead,
to my amazement she had scraped all the finish off of every ceilingI proceeded to redo all the ceilingsthe increase in price should have been obvious, as any responsible person would realizeI didn't realize that I was becoming a victim of a deceptive practiceShe was arranging things to get new ceilings in the entire house for the quoted repair price of $Obviously, what she wants is all new ceilings in her house for half priceShe claims I doubled my price - but she is purposely forgetting that she more than doubled the area that need to be done.The personal attack on my honesty to my charges is completely absurdI have been in business for years and have never once had my charges or hours challenged, as many hundreds of my customers would verifyPerhaps Mrs***s conscience will bother her enough, that she will send me the balance of $1985.00.Very truly,Marvin GNewmanNewman Plastering
