I am an attorney licensed to practice in New York State and represent the complainant, [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] is a respected artist and teacher. Newport Beach Auction Company posted art work for auction that it attributed to Mr. [redacted] and claimed to have Certificates of Authenticity. These...

claims were untrue and misleading to the public, as well as damaging to Mr. [redacted] reputation. Despite our repeated attempts to get information and copies of the Certificates, the Company failed to respond. We were trying to determine how the Company came to obtain these Certificates to protect Mr. [redacted] from any other attempts to falsely capitalize on his name and reputation. We were also trying to ensure that there would be no further use of his name by the Company. The business practices of this auction house are highly questionable.The Company was not responsive to our attempts to resolve this matter.If you require any additional information, please advise. Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: Started receiving spam last night. Within a couple hours I have received 7 emails. Never heard of this company. Website looks fake, google search comes back questionable. Emails come from two sources linking back to the same source. Newport Auction Company (AKA Newport Beach Auction Company) and [redacted].Desired Settlement: I want to be removed from all email lists.

Review: I noticed that NAC (Newport Auction Company) had several web auctions under the synonym LIVEauctioneers and that they sold "Beautifully framed, double matted original lithograph from (One Cent Life) Published..." Theese objects where created 1964 in a limited edition and hard to find. The opening price for each auction/object was/is $ 500 to $ 650 and according to the listing each object has a estimated value of $ 4000 - $ 7500. Correct if it is the real thing !!! I wanted more information and asked a few very simple an normal questions about these artworks... like specifics about them. NAC (Newport Auction Company) refuses to answer these questions. That makes me believe it is misrepresentation or even fraud. For more information in this matter please feel free to contact me. Thanks [redacted]Desired Settlement: That Revdex.com investigate theese auctioned items and the company NAC (Newport Auction Company) in order to prevent other individuals to buy the artwork based on eventual misrepresentation or even fraudulent information.
