Review: I parked in the parking lot behind the restaurant that states parking for customers only. I proceeded to enjoy some alcoholic beverages in the restaurant and decided to leave my car there for the night and take a taxi home. I checked the signs and there were no signs posted that stated no overnight parking. I came back to the restaurant the following day to pick up my car to find that it has been towed. I went inside to speak to the manager about the towing policy. I told him I was a customer last night and did not understand why my car was towed. He responded by saying you weren't a customer when the bar was closed were you? So we towed your car. My car was parked legally and I was forced to pay over $200 to get my car out of the towing garage. I made the responsible decision to take a taxi home, and was punished for that decision by the establishment.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the towing cost of my car. Additionally, there needs to be signs posted in the parking lot if that is how they are going to do business.

Our policy states that parking is for customers only. This customer stated that they left there car to enjoy alcoholic beverages. We give out parking passes to our customers that state they can leave there car until 9am the next day. Wouldn't a person think to ask an establishment if they could leave there car in their parking overnight? I do. He would have been given a pass and his car would be good until 9am the next day.

NBBC does not tow any cars before 9:30am. The manager that was mentioned in his complaint said he did not come in until 7pm the next day to get his car. We are not a parking structure. On that day we towed his car we had NFL playoffs and were extremely busy. With no parking pass, and not being present as a customer of that day, we towed his car to provide customers of that day to have a parking spot.

Even if there are no signs stating that there is no overnight parking that had nothing to do with the car being towed. The car was towed because the car was there the next day, and the owner was not a customer that day, he came in at night to get his car -the sign in the parking say for customers only. He was not a customer that day at the time of tow and was using our parking lot for free parking, that is why we towed the car.
