This letter is in response to the complaint filed by *** ** ***In
response, this "personal friend" had been to this office originally 08/03/for Botox
and Dermal Filler, returning 08/30/for more, but also with a recommendation
that
he will need more Dermal FillerHe returned o6/05/at which time the RN again
noted "significant facial hollowing to mid face, laxity, jowling, marionette lines and
NLF, with neck laxity as well"She suggested a treatment plan of several difference
treatmentsShe made recommendation with a stronger filler which is also more
expensive, client opted for a different filler, less optimal, for less moneyThe RN also
explained to client that due to certain "medications" that he uses, his body will
metabolize the product faster than and he will need treatments more often
Each time this client has been to this office he has been treated with professionalism
and expertise of the RN's and Staff; further, because of a "personal friendship" he was
given pricing that is little over costClient insisted on speaking with myself or having
me at office on his treatment date, but I am often in San Diego and unavailable,
however I communicated with and had told my staff to inform him that he needs to see
the RN for Follow Up and my Sales Staff & Assistant Manager will help him with pricing
This client badgered the office staff with phone calls and a tone of harassment that I
finally asked him to seek services elsewhere
Client then threatened that he would retaliate with online negative reviews and that I
would be sorry

COMPLAINT INFORMATION

Review: On june 4th I went to Newport Beach Med Spa to get an idea of what I needed to refine my face. I was helped by a nurse by the name of lisa. After 20 mins of her expertise, I was informed that I need 3 syringes of Juvederm and 50 units of botox. I was assured that the juvederm would last for 6 or more months and the botox would last three months. The first ten days looked great, but after the 20th day my face started have a reverse effect and my face looks like before the treatment. I made several attempts to contact the owner, [redacted] to resolve this matter. Finally, they made an appointment for July 31st at noon. When I arrive, I was told she wasnt there and I was seen by the same nurse again. She told me I needed a different treatment. I insisted, I wanted the same treatment that was done three weeks before that I paid $1400. I called back, to see what it would cost to get it done this time. They offered a $50 discount.

Having said this, I would like a refund or a the same treatment at no cost!Desired Settlement: after several calls, the owner told me to take my business elsewhere.
