Review: For the past two months, I've been trying to get a refund of a bill that was overpaid to that office in the amount of $75. The first time I called, the girl at the front desk told me they don't usually process refunds automatically for such small amounts and that it would take approximately 2 weeks to process this request. That was on July 22. On August 4, I called again and spoke to the billing department and was told that my original request was still be processed. When I called back again on August 14, I was told by billing that she sent in the check request to the wrong doctor. On August 22, I was told the doctor ([redacted]) who needed to sign off on the check hasn't been in the office much over the last 2 weeks and it's been hard to get her to sign off on the check. It's now August 28 and I still have not received my refund. Mind you, they received payment from my insurance company the beginning of June. We are going on almost 3 months now. I'm sick of calling them. I'm so glad I switched doctors. Your billing department is incompetent and shame on you for not being available to sign checks (if that's even the true story).Desired Settlement: I just want my $75 back. You have no right to hold on to my money.
