honest and will return the garments that are not their. In this case, the sweaters have not been returned so I have no problem paying for them. [redacted] is correct that we Only pay $50 per garment if original receipt cannot be presented at the time that the customer fills out a claim form. Obviously that is to ensure that persons do not inflate garment price.  We try to be as fair as possible. Most persons will not spend an extreme amount on garments and not keep receipts. Everything that I have brought up in this letter is also posted on the walls of the business so that persons are fully aware of standard operating procedure. 
[redacted] is more than welcome to come in on Monday to fill out a claim form and receive a check for $150. The 30 day wait period will be over at that time. The wait period is to give plenty of time for a persons to return garments.
Very sorry about the inconvenience to [redacted]. Obviously we are not in business to upset people regarding their clothes, unfortunately mistakes happen.

This is the rebuttal to [redacted] request for payment of her boots .., Once again I will state that the boots are in excellent condition compared to when she brought them in. She had stained them with some type of beverage and potentially ruined them.

[redacted] at Shoe Stop cleaned them better than expected.

taken of the  cleaned product.  They are in excellent condition.  We took these photos before [redacted] picked them up so as to ensure that it was known that they were in perfect condition.  As of right now, [redacted] took her boots from my employees refusing to pay.  Shoe Stop, in having some empathy for the situation, has agreed to waive the cleaning charge.  [redacted], unfortunately, I do believe is being unreasonable with her request for $220.00 for the boots.    I have been in business for 7 years, Shoe Stop much longer.  I believe in the consumer and their integrity . I do believe we have done the right thing by [redacted].  Shoe Stop as well as myself have conversed with the B.B.B and feel that we are resolved in this matter.

concern regarding the complaint from [redacted]:

[redacted] brought her Ugg

boots in to be cleaned at my cleaners. She had spilled something on them and

wanted to have that stain removed. I do not do the cleaning of shoes here.

These particular boots went to Shoe Stop. [redacted] is my...

regular shoe repair and

cleaner for such items. I brought them in to him. As customary, [redacted] is

required to call customer for the price and also the process in which the item

will be cleaned. [redacted] had a phone call from [redacted] stating that the color of

the boots would be a little darker due to the cleaning process. She agreed to

the process and the payment of $28. She did come back and pick up her boots the

following week. She was unhappy with color and the stiffness of the boot. I

brought them up to Shoe stop to try and make them softer. [redacted] put something

on them (I am not sure because I am not the shoe repair person) to soften the

material, she still was not happy. At this point is when I talked to her and

encouraged her to please talk to [redacted] since I am not familiar with the cleaning

process, this is not my specialty. This would be the reason outsourcing it. I

tried to explain this to her to know avail. I gave her [redacted]s name and phone

number so she could call and explain what she wanted. According to [redacted], he

got her to calm down and redo the boots. I now have the boots, which are in

perfect condition. In the 7 years I have been in business with Shoe Stop, I

have never had 1 single complaint about his work. I drive from 99'1 ave to P.V mall to use

his service. If [redacted] believes I was rude, that's unfortunate. I was trying to

solve her problem and she was not accepting of that. At this point, she needs

to deal with Shoe Stop. She is asking for an absurd of money for these

boots!!  I have taken pictures of the

boots and have witnesses to the way they look and feel. Nobody feels there is a

problem. Even the vendor that cleans my wedding dresses cannot find a problem.

The boots are available to

her at any time along with the $28 she owes shoe stop for his diligence in

getting her stains out.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9854156, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[redacted] is mistaking when she states I received a call from [redacted] explaining that my boots would change color. I have phone records to prove it. Even the next day when I return to pick up a dress that was ready the next day after drooping off my boots her son stated they had lost my ticket with my information and number. The only time I received a call from [redacted] was when I had my complaint. When I talk to kristy she was not trying to help solve my issue but put the blame on [redacted]. Stating "if I had a complaint it would have to be with [redacted]" when I never knew there was a third party. I do expect a full refund for my boots that's how much I pay and can provide a receive. I also have pictures on how my boots should look like.
