Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:The response is dishonest and flies in the face of common senseTo wit: who would hire someone to do a job after having been told by that person that they were unable to do it? I was assured when I took my jacket and pants in to be altered
that it no was problem and that it would cost $If I had been told it couldn't be done, I would have left and saved myself $As for only wearing the jacket for minutes, who has ever been to a formal marriage ceremony and reception that was over in minutes? And what, exactly, does that have to do with the alterations not being correctly performed? As for what alterations were made, if the lower part of the jacket was the only alteration to be performed, why is the area to the back of the collar bunched up and why is the waist inches too large? As for the pants, the waist needed to be taken in, and was, but the seat of the pants, which were to be taken up, were notConsequently, from the rear it looks very baggyAs for the comments attributes to my wife, I fail to see what bearing they have on this matterAs for my not pointing out the problem with the jacket and pants, I did, and am more than willing to submit photographs which will substantiate the poor workmanshipThe third visit, to have the problems addressed, never took place because her response, on the phone, was that she had done the best she could do and that I should consider buying a suit Bottom line? I was told it could be done, it wasn't, and the so-called tailor doesn't want to stand behind her workAnd the claim that the job was done perfect , I will leave to the discretion of whoever sees the results of the alterationsThe rest of her statements are simply ploys to avoid taking responsibility for a job poorly donePlease allow me do demonstrate that by providing photographs of the jacket and pantsI believe that will demonstrate the validity of my claimThank you

In respond to the case #***As I wrote before, *** *** brought a pair of pants and a jacket to my shop to be alteredAfter he discussed what he wanted done we had the first fitting I performed the requested work and scheduled a second fittingDuring the second fitting everything went fine; he made some minor modifications Again I performed the work as requested and I called him to let him know his suit was ready Almost a month later, he came in and tried on the final productHe was happy with the resultHe paid in a good faithNo question about the product or wanting his money backLater that week, he wanted additional work done on other areas of the suitI refused because it was additional work over the first and second fittingsHe kept mentioning his wife was not happy with the product but his wife never came to any of the sessionsI would have honored his wife's opinion if she had come to any of the fittingsI don't understand why *** *** is disturbing me now.
