*** *** aka *** *** is a serial abuser of our website.On September 7, she signed up for a free trial and cancelled in minutesWe allow people free trialAt that time she was *** ***.On December 3, *** *** signed up for a free trial and cancelled in
minutesShe used a different email address to thwart our Terms and Conditions.On July 12th *** *** (new name) subscribed to our website using a $off coupon for a month full membership, paying a discounted $She used a 3rd email address for this transaction.All these transactions were given using the same address for the credit card and came from the same IP number.On July 13th at 10:PM UTC we cancelled her subscription at her request and refunded her $So, *** *** AKA *** *** has nothing to complain aboutWe, on the other hand, request that she never visit our website again.*** ***Customer Service Specialist Tell us why here

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I was going to accept your offer.  However, on the morning of May 13, 2015, Newspaper Archive attempted to debit my bank account for $29.95.  My bank is sending me written confirmation.  Thankfully, I did not have sufficient funds, so your company was not successful in debiting my account.  I then called Newspaper Archive.   I spoke with a customer service representative who confirmed that my account was active, and further, that your company had billed me.   I then asked to speak to a supervisor, and spoke with a Mr. [redacted], who basically told me I was "imagining things" and that no one had tried to debit my account. Then I received the email from the Revdex.com and read your offer.  That was the afternoon of May 13, 2015.  However, when I tried to access your site, I was again asked for payment.  I was in the process of sending you an email when I received a call from Mr. [redacted], who said he had received an email from you, and that my account was active May 13 - May 16, at no charge.  He followed that up with an email.  However, I was out of town on May 14-May 15, so didn't get a chance to actually do any searches until today, May 16 - which, according to your offer, should be the last day of my free access.  Well, NO.  I WAS DENIED ACCESS UNLESS I PAID.  So this is why I am rejecting this offer, because I didn't even get 1 full day, let alone 4.  By the time I got your message on May 13, and Mr.[redacted] was informed of your offer,  I was already getting ready to go out of town.  So today was really the only day I had to search, since I got back very late last evening.  If you say you are going to provide 4 days, that is what you should do.  Mr. [redacted] seems to be the cog in the wheel.  Besides enduring his sarcasm, he lied to me.  In his email he assured me that he understood I was to have 4 days, unlimited access.  Yet, here it is the 4th day and NO ACCESS.  God help you if you try to bill me again.  I will check with my bank on Monday.What is wrong with your company?  Do your employees not listen to you or do they just not care or are they incompetent?

Review: I signed up for a one-time search with this company on Nov. 30, with the understanding that I would be billed for a subscription unless I cancelled the account. I cancelled my account immediately after running the desired search and received an email saying I would not be billed further. I have saved a copy of that email, which I can provide to you if necessary. I have been billed every month since December. No one answers at the customer service line, so there is no way to quickly find out what is going on. I have emailed the company and disputed the charge with my credit card company. However, I want to report them as they are either mismanaged or dishonest, or both.Desired Settlement: I want all money paid for the subscription since Dec. 3, 2014, to be refunded, and my subscription cancelled. I do not dispute the initial charge, which I believe was $1.95, incurred on Nov. 30, 2014.
