Had my stuff loaded may 23rd got a quote and when my things got loaded they added extra 500 dollars on and told me it would be delivered in 2 weeks now it's June 25th and he ain't left the province yet

Originally chose All-Ways Moving based on price quote (not highest, not lowest & gave us a small discount), fact that they had A+ rating on Revdex.com & assurance from [redacted] that they use their own trucks, unlike other companies. Originally told delivery would happen in 7-14 days; business days NOT specified. On pickup day a different company, IVL & Edmonton â?? Moving and Storage, showed up almost 4 hrs late, stated they would be holding the stuff in their trailer for a week before it was picked up to be shipped. So already cutting into 7 days of the 7-14 guarantee. Called the next week to inquire about a delivery date as we expected it by Jan 28th, after no reply for 2 days sent an email inquiry which was passed off to â??dispatchâ? at yet another company, Budget Moving. Found out items had not yet been picked up or weighed, added to the fact that All-ways was not involved in any process of shipping of the items as originally told. Apparently the truck was too full to fit our stuff on the shipment it was supposed to be on yet we were never notified of this. Finally got picked up in Edmonton the week it was supposed to be delivered, and told it would arrive on Feb 3rd. Called again to confirm delivery date & told to contact the driver because now the truck had broken down. Instead of sending a new truck, was told we would have to wait & see when it would be fixed. In regards to weight, our quote was between 2100-2200 lbs, but invoiced at 2600 since they WEIGHED IT WITH OTHERS, then 500 lb â??discountâ? to look like we were getting a deal. Would not reweigh unless we were willing to pay a fee/delay the delivery. Received stuff on Feb 12, over 4 wks after pickup. Large items appeared to be packed well, but bookshelf came in damaged, box marked fragile was clearly damaged and 2 items were missing. Realized after unpacking that a toolbox was not there & called immediately to inquire if they had been left on the truck. Was informed that they did have it; no mention of if they would ship or drop off on the way back. Told to submit a claim because that was easiest for them & hung up on. Called back a couple days later to ask if it could be shipped, even offering to pay for it. Followed up for 3 weeks on the status of the shipment. Finally told it was shipped but not provided with a tracking number. Over a week later got confirmation that it had been shipped that day, not the previous week as told.
