Review: I have been going back and forth with this company for over a month now. I used their merchant services starting almost 3 years back now in March of 2013. I signed a 2 year contract with them that was to end the last calendar date of February 2015. I called the previous year to try to cancel my contract only to find out there was an outrageous cancellation fee so I kept the services and told them as soon as my contract was up I no longer wanted their services. Newtek has been charging my bank account monthly since my contract was up. Now over $100 total. I contacted their customer service to in which I was treated unequivocally the worst I have been treated by a representative. I was told they would only credit me back the past three months. When I asked for all of my money back as they were stealing money after contract date monthly the man on the other line told me "the best I can do is credit back 4 months" I then proceeded to ask to speak with someone else who would help me instead of him and he said "[redacted]". I received no call, no credit back to my account. I then filed a stop all debits from their account through my bank and a fraudulent charge claim. I then took the next step to send an email to the company and explain what had happened. A man named Will then called me and emailed me back saying that he would credit me the $92 and some odd cents back dating to march that they had taken and was told I would incur no other charges that he had closed my account. I have an email with the account closure notification, the voicemail and then further email communications with Will. This was all in October. On November first Newtek again debited $7.85 out of my bank account. Again stealing more money. I emailed Will again and told him I would be proceeding action against their company and he emailed back saying sorry and that he contacted the financial department to reverse the charge once again. 7 business days later I still have not received a refund of my $7.85. This company debits money out of your bank account presumably under different accounts and it is labeled in my bank statements as "electronic withdrawal bankcard" now my bank has blocked debits from Newtek so I'm not sure how they again took money from me. It's pretty misleading and conniving to debit not using your company name and using something called an electronic withdrawal from a bank card. People are mislead to believe it could simple be them using their debit cards. If they are taking small amount of money each month from unbeknownst consumers they are surely making a lot of money that people are unaware of. It's a complete scam. Their customer service is ridiculous and they are dishonest. If an account is closed and I receive confirmation of that, how do they continue to take money?Desired Settlement: I feel the Revdex.com should further investigate the issue, I feel as if this company is scamming people and has probably gotten away with it for a long time.
