Review: Received many times bills from the billing department even after my bill was paid.

Review: I went to a doctors's visit at Lawrence Medical Assoc. [redacted] and submitted my insurance information and paid a co payment. Weeks later I received a bill for total cost of $2,310.00 for the doctor's visit to get a blood test for iron deficiency and a b12 shot. I then called the billing department and was told that the medical assistants at the front desk did not enter my insurance information and I was told that the bill would be corrected. I later got a bill from a collection agency. After called the billing department again they told me there was nothing they could do for me since it was already sent to credit collections by mistake. It would be my responsibility to handle the situation.

I want a letter from the billing department promising that this was not placed on my credit report (after they confirm it with the collection agency they sent my bill to). I want my bill to be adjusted with my insurance information correctly. I want to also have this complaint posted to warn other people of the negligence in the billing department.
