Nex-Gen Windows & Doors

The installer, James, was phenomenal. He paid attention to every detail on installation of 3 windows and siding. He was professional, courteous, and was very customer service oriented. We would highly recommend James. It’s refreshing to have such a highly skilled customer oriented professional like James. The Marvin windows are amazing.

The Nex-Gen team is fabulous! We love our 3 new windows. There was a problem with the window hardware and they quickly agreed to fix the situation. Great customer service.

I met Ted at a home show in 2017 and requested an estimate. He came to my home for measurements to remove and replace 10 windows a patio door, front door, siding, soffit and fascia and he gave me an estimate. At that time I was waiting for local contractor bids as well. When I contacted Ted to sign a contract, I was told that they were too booked for the season to add my project to their schedule. I asked Ted to retain the measurements and product choices for 2018. This March, when I called again for an updated estimate, Ted told me he had lost my file. He and Michael came to measure again on March 3rd 2018.
Though the new estimate was over $10,000 more than last year, I signed the contract with a deadline stating the job would be finished "before August 15th 2018."
I had explained to Ted that another company had already failed to perform on a similar contract several years ago. He told me, "We're not the bad guys."
After paying a hefty 35% deposit, I am still waiting for the job to be completed. There are new windows and doors with "temporary trim" that were finally installed July 17th!!
I have had no word from Brent, the company president and owner and Ted's son, since July 23 when I was told the rest of the project couldn't even begin until at least August 20th!
I sent a proposal for a remedy for the BREACH of contract on July 26th and have had no response at all.
As a matter of fact, nearly every communication has been initiated by me asking for updates.
I don't believe the original intent was to default on the scope of work but that is the end result anyway.
I am now reading the numerous glowing reviews from people who have had work COMPLETED while I am still waiting for the siding, soffit, fascia and trim I contracted for!!

We selected Nex-Gen to replace 11 windows and a sliding patio door in our home after talking with many window companies. The installers did a great job and were very professional. They showed up on time and we didn't have to move furniture or remove any window coverings to prepare for the install--the installers did it all! The installation team kept the project moving along and worked very efficiently together. After the install, the stainers followed up and matched our windows to our stained woodwork throughout our home. The window coverings were all replaced at the end of the project and the final product looks beautiful.

We just had a large sliding door replaced with Nex-Gen. Everything went as promised. We had two installers who spent the whole day taking the old door out and installing the new door. I was nervous about potential damage to my hardwood floors and the exterior stucco. These men were very careful covering the floors. They had to cut some of the floor out to fit the new door which was much thicker than the original door. They had to add molding around the door to give it a finished look. Everything came out perfect. There isn't a mark on my floors. The stucco was unharmed. The new door is ten times more sturdy than the old door. The installers took their time to explain how the new door would keep rain from coming in (which was a problem with the old door). They made sure the latches were finely tuned and showed us how to operate them as they were different from our old door. They cleaned up everything and even washed the new window. Amazing! I would strongly recommend this company.

We just replaced all the windows in our house using Nex-Gen. We are so impressed with the professional and respectful treatment we received throughout the entire process - sales all the way to installation. The windows are beautiful and we have already noticed a huge difference in the heating in our home. We looked at other companies and compared many different products. So glad we picked these guys - I can't recommend them enough!

LOVE our new windows! Our room is much warmer (when it's cold outside) than it was before. And the guys who did the installation were really good - professional, courteous, and they knew exactly what they were doing. Very happy overall and would highly recommend Next-Gen for new windows.
