Absolutely the worst shipping company
I made a big mistake of choosing NEW Worldwide Express for my shipment from Fargo,ND to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This was a problem from the very beginning.
Absolutely the worst! If you are looking for professional services, this is NOT your place especially the Daphne So the operation manager and Sam from customer service.
I got a quote for shipping household goods from Fargo, ND to Riyadh, SA. The quote says 25 days, but I received the shipment after 5 months.
In the beginning, I told them that the shipment had already been palletized on a 48*40 pallet, they said okay, but after the payment, they tried to force me buy to a crate for the shipping to make more money.
They contracted with a cheap company to pick up my shipment from Fargo, who missed the picking up appointment 4 times. After one week of back-and-forth emails and calls to decide to deal with another company. The new company pick-up the shipment on Feb 28th, 2023, and delivered it to NEX on March 2nd But NEX kept the shipment for a month in their storage. On April 9th NEX finally decided to process the international shipping to UAE Jebel Ali. The shipment was supposed to arrive in UAE Jebel Ali on May 8th and arrive in Riyadh the dry port on May 18th, But NEX kept it in UAE Jebel Ali until July 18th because they were looking for a cheap forwarding agent to send the shipment from UAE to Saudi Arabia and they were using the Shipping lines and an excuse to the delay.
Finally, the shipment arrived at the dry port in Riyadh Saudi Arabia on July 22-2023, but NEX wanted me to pay the bill for the forwarding agent claiming this is a local service and the customer is responsible for these chargers. So it is very simple this company will steal your money and provide no service!

Fraud!
I made a big mistake of choosing NEW Worldwide Express for my shipment from California to Germany. This was a problem from the very beginning.
1. The company didn't provide any packaging or cover, so we had to cover the boxes we sent ourselves.
2. When the shipment reached the German customs, it turned out that there were some duties to be paid. I was okay with that and wrote to the customs to get information from the NEX, as I've provided everything. To cut the long story short, it took me a month to just receive an invoice from the customs MYSELF, as the NEX didn't participate in this process at all.
3. An there's icing on the cake! After about 2 weeks the shipment was already received, I get a surprise - an invoice for 194 USD! for the imaginary corrections of the weight and dimensions of my packages. In almost 2 months after they received my shipment.
They are also asking me to prove that my dimensions were correct by providing the photos of my packages! Why wasn't this reported to me when they got my shipment?
Never have any dealings with him.

Customer service
Absolutely great, They talked me through the whole process and helped me when I messed up. A wonderful group of people. Thank You so much.

A lier company
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY SHIPPING. They will overcharge you after the package delivered without any notification. I used this company three times in the first half year and was overcharged every time when the shipping done. No, they don't notify you any such charges in advance. They simply charged your credit card with some reason like inaccurate box size or something like that but without any proof from the real shipping carrier like DHL.

Don't even bother to dispute your bill with them because they will not rely it and simply delete the ticket! (see attached screenshot for proof) . Believe me, I tried and got the hard session.

Their rate might look good at the beginning but you will regret later.

Review: I paid, printed shipping label and scheduled a pick up before 2pm the next day on 12-**-2015. I contacted NEX Express customer service at 1:30pm on the shipping date and was told the pick up crew will show up in 30 mins. It didn't happen and I called again at 2:45pm. This time I was told I needed to schedule a new time slot for pick up and they would not guarantee that. The customer service was also very rude. Basically they just made the statement that they will not guarantee to provide the service that I have already paid for. Then I asked to cancel the shipment and refund me back the $80. Customer service told me I have to do it online since I originally ordered it online. After I found out that I was not able to cancel the shipment online and called back, nobody answered the phone!Desired Settlement: Modification/discontinuance of an advertised claim

Review: Additional credit card charges were accessed a month after the initial shipment was completed. I have lost time and money using this unethical company.Desired Settlement: Return my $30 that was charged to my card without my permission.

Response:

I would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused with the additional charge. In reviewing your account, I determined the $30 fee was assessed toward your shipment to Australia sent via [redacted] Express on Aug[redacted]. The carrier assessed this fee for extended delivery to the receiver address in Wauchope, Australia. This adjustment was reported after the shipment took place and was assessed to offset the cost of providing service to remote areas. I recommend taking a look at the reference guide on all charges listed on our website: [redacted]. As a courtesy, the amount charged to your credit card has been refunded today. If there are any further questions or assistance needed, please feel free to contact us at [redacted]. Thank you!

Review: I received an invoice for a package I recently shipped to Jamaica. Cost $300 to ship the package and it was paid up front. Now, after calling customer service I'm being told I owe an additional $200 for duty taxes. When I asked how this amount was calculated all I was told. Very rudely might I add was "we don't know it's just what they charge". Yeah that's not an acceptable answer to me. If they are asking for an invoice be paid, they should be listing exactly what items I'm paying taxes on, the %, the calculations and then a total. Until that's received, I shouldnt have to pay anything additional. I also should've been notified in advance of any additional amount I was being charged. What I got from their rep was "we paid the duties so you need to reimburse us". Did they tell me how much they would be BEFORE they went ahead and paid them? I was in constant contact with their fed ex rep in Jamaica. He didnt mention one word. If he had, I would've told him to return the package to me because there's absolutely no way I'm paying that.

Which I know they are unable to supply. 1. Because Ive already asked and 2. Because the items in that package were just paper goods, most things got from the dollar store and some cheap bottle openers. There is no way the contents in that package even amounted to $200. I have the receipts for almost everything to back that up. So the percentage of taxes I'm paying on the goods would have to be what? 300%? I don't think that's allowed under any circumstance. I've read horrible reviews about this company. But I took a chance and figure "I'm not sending anything really important so if it doesn't make it that's okay" FAILDesired Settlement: I want either a specific breakdown by items and how this was calculated. Or I want this invoice reduced to $0

The client, [redacted], prepared a shipment to Jamaica through our online shipping services at [redacted], which was picked up and forwarded by FedEx on August **, 2013 heading to Tropical Weddings Jamaica. The service type chosen was International Economy service. It was also indicated by the client (at the time of preparing the shipment online) that the billing for transportation and customs duties be billed to sender. As the forwarding company, FedEx transported the shipment to Jamaica and proceeded with the clearance paperwork to release the shipment in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The shipment was released and the customs duty charges were billed to sender account.

I have provided the FedEx invoice for the customs duty charges as well as the tracking updates for this shipment. As indicated on our Terms & Conditions, NEX (FedEx as the service provider) may complete and transit any documents, amend product or service codes and pay any duties or taxes required under applicable laws and regulations. Please see section 1 of the Terms on following pages.

Review: I shipped 12 boxes using the shipnex door-to-door services from Tucson ,AZ USA to Astana, Kazakhstan in Mid of August. On the phone for the purchasing, the sales person told me that their charges include the shipping fee and broker fee for custom clearance. But I might need to pay possible custom duty and tax charged by Kazakhstan government. In late Aug, my luggage arrived in Almaty, Kazakhstan but it has been held by the custom. I was informed that the shipnex's broker cannot help me to do the custom clearance and I should hire my own broker for the custom clearance. I contacted shipnex to hire the broker for me as they promised that the charges include the broker fee. But surprisingly my request was refused by Shipnex. As I cannot speak Russian, it takes me for about one month to find a local broker for this shipment. In the end, I have to pay the local broker ~160,116 KZT (~1050 USD) (notice this is not a charge from government, it is from a third company) for the custom clearance and shipping fee from Almaty to Astana. These consequences are not acceptable for me as a customer. To me, not only my luggage has been delayed for more than one month but also I have to pay the services including the broker fee and local shipping. However these services should be provided by ShipnexDesired Settlement: Since I have paid the shipnex the service fee for shipping my boxes from USA to Astana including the custom broker fee , I request a refund of $1050 USD which should not be collected from me.

Response to Customer Complaint via Revdex.com:

The client, [redacted], sent a shipment to Kazakhstan through our shipping services which was picked up and forwarded by FedEx on August * heading to Astana, Kazakhstan, The service type chosen was International Economy service. As the forwarding company, FedEx transported the shipment to Almaty, Kazakstan on August **. The shipment was held in customs office .in Almaty as of August ** awaiting the clearance paperwork to release the shipment into the country. For most countries, FedEx is able to provide broker services to release the shipment on behalf of the client. However in Kazakhstan, due to the regulations, the customs process needed to be issued and submitted by a private customs agent.

We understand and apologize for the frustration and long delay the client was faced with due to the customs hold and release process. As indicated on our Terms & Conditions, for international shipments, NEX cannot be held responsible for any duties, taxes and fees that are required to be paid under applicable laws and regulations in the destination country.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

I have used this company for two years and they are advertising a lower rate in order to obtain business but then posting additional invoices and charge for them which makes them even more expensive then shipping directly with DHL, Fedex or UPS, in particular for international shipments. This is bad practice and I would consider this misleading customers with intent.

Never heard of this company till I got a bill two months after shipping with [redacted]
( who apparently transferred to them ) for an outrageous bill....for "oversize" have no intention of paying will take them to court.
