We will issue an additional check for $10 today and send to the same address we used for the previous two checks.
We would ask that he keep and cash the check for $30, along with the check for $20 and the one for $10 we are sending now.

We are very sorry that Mr. [redacted] refund was not processed in a timely manner and that his experience with our product was unsatisfactory. We have issued and sent a check for $30 that should have been written for $50, which was the price of the belt at the Shot Show. That was an error and...

processing / communication and certainly not an effort to annoy or short change our customer. We have also now issued an additional check for $20 to match the price [redacted] paid for the belt.
Regarding the amount of the refund, we discounted our product at the Shot Show and the price points offered were $40 and $50. The price of $60 is what the belt [redacted] purchased sells for on our website. We are willing to issue a third check for $10, thereby arriving at a total payment / refund of $60.
At this time, it appears that [redacted] has sent back the first check of $30 and we have also sent a second check for $20. Assuming he has sent the check for $30 back, then we would suggest he keep the check for $20 just sent and we issue another check for $40. Before we can do that, we will need to confirm that we can cancel the first check of $30.
