Nexen Tire cannot agree to any type of reimbursement without the proper claiming process, this is why we are requesting that a claim is submitted through our website in order for us to better understand the situation of the tires being claimed. At this time we will not come to an agreement of any type of reimbursement without submission of proper information of the tires being claimed.
If the customer chooses not go through the website we can extend an offer for the customer to go to any tire store that sales Nexen Tires and that is willing to assist with a claim process. I have had 3 tires develop bubbles on the sidewalls in 2 days. Contacted NEXEN, was told to contact the Dealership, both denies any warranty resolution
Bought the truck (2019 Dodge Ram 3500) in March, 2020 with the NEXEN tires installed as stock tires. Air pressure check&monitored daily, rotated every 5000 miles. At 23,450 miles, took truck into Discount Tire for rotation, (18 June 2020) tech found bubble in the sidewall of the (inner) left front tire. Replaced the tire with a brand new Bridgestone tire ($250). Went back to Discount tire the following day (19 Jube 2020), Discount Tire tech found 2 more tires had developed bubbles in similar positions of sidewall on 2 rear tires. Ordered 2 more Bridgestone tires.
Called NEXEN tire authorized Dealership & Service shop, was informed no warranty exists on tires that are OEM when purchased already installed on new vehicle. NEXEN suggested that I call *** Dealership for resolution. Spoke to *** Price at *** Dealership, was told "OEM tires do not come with any sort of warranty, sorry"
This does not seem fair or realistic. Now after this experience Google search reveals that NEXEN tires routinely fail, causing a major safety issue.
I seek to be reimbursed for the 3 replacement Bridgestone tires already purchased plus the any / all future costs related to the failure, damages, liabilities and replacement of the other 4 defective NEXEN tires ASAP.

Desired Outcome

I seek to be reimbursed for the 3 replacement Bridgestone tires already purchased plus the any / all future costs related to the failure, damages, liabilities and replacement of the other 4 defective NEXEN tires ASAP. I pray to God that I do not have a tire explode causing injury or death to myself or others. If an accident is caused by these defective tires, I seek to have any / all liability costs also covered

We understand that at times it can be difficult to receive warranty assistance through a third party supplier and because of these difficulties Nexen Tire offers the customers the ability to submit a claim directly with the company. If the customer spoke with someone directly with Nexen, would it be possible for the customer to provide us the name of the representative they spoke with here at Nexen Tire? If a claim was submitted directly to Nexen, may the customer provide the reference number of the claim?

The information requested will allow us to review the case once again.

If a claim was not submitted the customer has the option of placing a claim through our website ***, this way we are able to review the case. Please note that all information requested through the website is extremely important to submit in order for us to give a fair review of the case.

I did not speak to anyone at NEXEN Tire, I did a Google search and called a lo al, authorized NEXEN Dealer, who informed me to contact the Auto Dealership (*** Dodge) where I'd purchased the $*** truck months earlier.
I contacted the owner of *** Dodge's personnel assistant (*** who informed me that any warranty claims for OEM tires should be honored by the tire manufacturer (NEXEN). She asked me to report back and inform if NEXEN honored the warranty claim, as this has happened to several other customers since the beginning of the year.I seek full reimbursement for the 3 tires I had to have replaced and reimbursed for any future failures

Nexen Tire Response • Jun 26, 2020

Through the statements given by the owner of the tires it leads us to believed that a claim was never submitted, at this time we are willing to offer the customer the process of a claim review through our website ***

The claim process will allow us to further investigate the issue of the tires.

I filed a claim on the NEXEN website and have never received any response, hence the reason I filed this Revdex.com claim.
Seems I am not alone, doing a Google search finds 100's who have been neglected and ignored by NEXEN warranty claims.
Enough excuses, warranty the 3 defective tires !!!

Nexen Tire Response • Jun 30, 2020

We search our system and emails for a claim placed with the name of *** and we were unable to find a claim under the name listed.
If a claim was submitted, would you please give us the reference number of the claim or the email used to submit information to our department? You can proceed in sending us the requested information to our email ***, please have the subject title of the email be the Revdex.com case number this way it is easy to track and bring a conclusion to this matter.
At this time Nexen Tire cannot agree on any type of reimbursement without the proper procedure of a claim review. Our OEM warranty states that no claim will be recognized unless submitted on a Nexen claim form completely filled in with the information requested, the claim form process is provided to the customer through our website

Nexen agreed to reimburse me the wholesale cost for 3 tires (approx $140 per tire, times 3. I received a check approx 1 week after the Nexen rep said it would be mailed.
I thanks and appreciate the actions of Nexen and the Revdex.com for whatever influence the Revdex.com might of been to resolve this matter.

You may close this case. Thanks again.

Purchased 6 tires online through Walmart from nexon but these tires will not balance. I have been to 5 shops for re balance no success.
Nexon will no resolve this I keep submitting documentation in there claim forms it's like they don't read it. They said to have them road forced balance I did that. Spent 112.00 doing it sent them a copy of bill and results still rejected.

Desired Outcome

Replace tires or refund so I can get tires that don't shake my truck apart.

We would like to share that the customer *** did submit two claims for the processing of one tire in each claim. The first claim *** the customer claim reason was for the 45-Day/500 miles Satisfaction Guarantee Trial and it was denied due to the tires being used for 2,036 miles. Our policy states 45-days of usage or 500 miles of usage, whichever comes first, and seeing that the tires surpass the 500 mile guideline the tire no longer qualifies for the warranty replacement program. The second claim *** is for one tire for ride disturbance which was placed on hold because we requested verification of quantity of the tires. An email was sent to the customer on 4/2/2020, at this time no updated information has been made in the claim and is placed on hold.

Nexen Tire is willing to assist with the review of the claim for the tire(s) for possible ride disturbance issue and we will qualify under the warranty policy. If the tires meet the guidelines of being within the first 2/32nds of the tires tread depths or the first year within the purchase date on the receipt. For reimbursement of all tires we do request for proof or road force testing results for each tire and for the tires to meet the warranty guidelines.

We are still willing to assist in the review if the customer submits the requested documentation and proper tire information as well.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Have sent them proof of road force balance they no response spend over 250.00 re balancing who covers that? *** was sent . Sent pics of road force on second claim there just ignoring it.

Nexen Tire Response • Apr 21, 2020

Both customer's claims have been reviewed a second time and road force testing results have not been submitted. We do see a forms indicating the following; battery check, prepaid DOTCOM tire, Tire Hauler Fee, Wheel Balance Life, Lug Torque, purchasing of the tires and other servicing fees but no road force results.
At this time we are willing to work along with the tire shop to proceed with a claim, the thing we are pending is road force testing results and if they are provided and show that each tire has high road force and cannot be balance we will reimburse according to our warranty guidelines.

As said in previous form I replied to there last email and been tow weeks they haven't responded . In that email was the second time of rod balance from second shop. A simple phone call to help with this claim would be useful but there not taking calls.

two defective front tires with broken belts on 2018 Kia Optima with 12911 miles.
two faulty original tires on 2018 Kia Optima. Car serviced at *** Kia Venice Fl. Dealer advised me on two occasions. First tire failed on 2/18/20 Left Front belt broken, second tire Right front failed on 3/17/20 broken belt. Both tires had to be replaced total $308.72. *** Invoices *** 2/18/20, *** on 3/17/20. Filed Claim 03/26/20 with Nexen. Claim rejected on 04/02/20. Reason for rejection "no photographs of damaged tires". The car taken to *** Kia - damage to tires clearly stated on work order/ invoice. Dealer said read warranty brochure supplied with vehicle for claim. Nothing in brochure about any photographs needed to file claim. Nexen supplied with copies of Work order/invoices. Nexen provided with data on tire wear 8/32" tread.`

Desired Outcome

Payment of 308.72 for my costs to have tires replaced.

Nexen Tire Response • Apr 16, 2020

submitted a claim for one tire and the proof of purchase shows the purchasing of only one tire, we are willing to review the second tire.

In any case whether it is through the dealership, a tire shop, or directly with the customer we do request for the tire or photos of the tire and documentation to be submitted for the review, to clarify the issue, and approve of the case for reimbursement. If it is believed that the tire(s) show a workmanship and material defect we reimburse at a proration reimbursement based on the remaining tread life of the tire.

Nexen Tire is willing to proceed with the claim review if the customer submits the requested photos of the tire(s), this way we can verify the broken belts and proceed with the reimbursement to the customer according to the warranty guidelines stated for our original equipment tires.

I would like to file a complaint about the Nexen, *** Plus tires. They are guaranteed for *** miles, but mine fell short *** miles.
I would like to file a complaint about the Nexen, *** Plus tires. They are guaranteed for *** miles, but mine fell short *** miles. I already have to replace 2 and the other 2 are not far off before I have to replace them too. I think they should stand behind their products and replace all four tires for us. Please do this as soon as possible, I have already replaced all four. All they responded was that I didn't take care of my car is why their tires didn't live up to standard! I sent them all my receipts from Walmart for service and tires. Thank you.

Good Tire Bad Processes
So I purchased these tires with the notion that they are better than Michelin. I am like there is no way that is possible. So I have a *** Mileage warranty. I go to the nexen dealer to get all service done alignments, rotation, repairs all things for the tire was done there so there was no confusion for the warranty. On their recommendation they say I need new tires and now starts this warranty process. This is by far not like Michelin I am having to go back and forth and back and forth and I have had with you and the dealer Sarks Automotive in Mauldin/Greenville SC. Months later I am told my claim was denied for uneven wear and I am like wow how is that possbile when I went to a nexen dealer for everything and I barley had the tires for a year and a half. THere was still premature wear issues that we needed to address but instead you deny the claim based on that. Now the problem I see is that I did a rotation everytime I went to Sarks for an oil change and did what they recommended on the tires. I looked through your warranty and understood that I should use a NExen dealer and I did but now I am burned. This is the worst tire process this *** tire gave out in *** which is far beyond what is advertised. Will be my last set of NExen because even Nexen doesn't stand behind their product they look to find ways out of honoring what seems to be a poor put together tire.

Desired Outcome

I would like claimed honored or reimbursement for tires.
