Complete Scam
So happy these DCs are no longer in business. I am out a few hundred dollars, but luckily that is all. The approach was so upsetting as they play with your emotions to give you false hope. One of the DCs has been able to keep her license, currently inactive, trust me I will be on the lookout to see if she starts up with false hope. Such a shame that these scammers couldn't find a honest type of work.

Not worth the money
I attended the program many years ago in Irvine. Heard from KFI radio show about Next Advance Medicine, so I signed up for the lunch seminar which started at 11:00 am. There is a small salad waiting on the table when we arrived, and after way past 1:00 pm, still no lunch, so I had to leave due to my diabetic condition. Upon leaving, I made an appointment to meet with Dr. Candi. During that appointment, she came across as very arrogant and condescending. She told my husband and I that she will only accept suitable customers and the cost was around $10,000 if we signed up for the program and prepay in full. Yet when we agreed that we have the means to make the payment, she accepted me immediately, so what was her assessment that I would be a suitable candidate?
The first appointment was alright, I met a lady who went through the program with me and brought me shopping at Whole Food about the type of food to consume. I would say about 75% of food is a no-no to consume. This diet is barely sustainable but I was determined to complete the course after paying more than $10,000. After that first appointment, subsequent ones were a half hour meeting with a counsellor, who chatted about my activities, religion and answered any queries. At one point, she even sold me a healing pad on the side, making sure it was confidential. I was given supplements. I felt weak and hungry this whole time. True that my blood sugar level had improved slightly but it was mainly due to eating so little food. I don’t have to pay that much money to know that there is no miracle cure for diabetes, just cut out 90% of your normal intake of food.

Seminar changed my life
I feel like I went to a different seminar than every one here. Same characters, different outcome. I never heard anyone say they had a cure for anything or anyone.. Yes 3 years ago I attended the seminar because my primary Dr stated I was running into the pre diabetes numbers on some blood test he had me take, and I wanted to learn what to expect next and could I change it. The answer is YES. I paid $49 for my consultation and it was worth every penny and then some. I could not afford their program. But I LISTENED to the nutritionist, who KNEW NOTHING about me and yet was able to tell me what symptoms started first and how they progressed over the years. I also LISTENED WHAT I WOULD HAVE TO GO WITHOUT AND FOR HOW LONG AND how to introduce items back into my life and how to watch and journal how my body responded or reacted to it. so that's what I did. ON MY OWN. That weight I could never seem to lose all disappeared when I cut certain HEALTHY foods out of my diet. within 6 months I was out of the pre diabetes numbers range and within 6 months after that I was in clothes that had not fit me for years. I am no longer on medication EXCEPT vitamin D3. So you have to stop looking at others to fix you and use their knowledge to implement things in and out of your life. Some people NEED accountability. discipline and tests taken, thus the cost of their program. But if you are poor, isn't some knowledge better than no knowledge? Again, I was not promised a cure. I was promised a small healthy lunch and the waiter delivered it towards the end of the seminar.

I attended the information dinner less than two weeks ago. The presentation was way to long. It began to look and feel like a Time-Share presentation. They feed you a nice salad upon arrival, check in and getting seated. Then Next Advanced Medicine (NAM) puts on a few video testimonials with very poor sound. Next they bring out a patient, (who they gave a full dinner to) to talk about his personal testimonial. Next Dr. Candi H. D.C. appears and speaks about all the negative aspects of diabetes, all the things that happen after years of not working with the disease. After a presentation that could take 45 to 55 minutes (also know the Dr. C. Hall, D.C. refuses to answer any questions during her presentation) but took nearly 105 minutes the pitch it to pay $79.00 for an office consultation and a plate comes out from the restaurant service with the smallest piece of chicken and a little bit of broccoli. I should have run, but after getting some bad news from my current treating physician, I needed to have some hope to turn this disease around. I paid the $79.00 and made an office appointment.
I arrive at my office one-on-one appointment and the paper work has too much legal pages to sign (RED FLAG) about arbitration. I have only seen this in one other medical office (that was a scam operation). I was brought in and asked to take an Eye/Vision Test given by an untrained non-medical person. I was then sat at a computer and asked to take five tests. After that, I met with a different D.C. (Doctor of Chiropractic) Dr. Greathouse and he give me the 'Time-Share' sell. But NOTICE, they set the entire premise up on 'We don't accept everyone to our program.' This is a simple play to make you want them to accept you, a very real human emotion that each of us have. (RED FLAG # Two). So I get taken down this path and at the end Dr. Greathouse says I am the lucky one who qualifies for NAM services. Now he gets out a contract for over $17K and again tells me I qualify for discount of over $6K, now I can sign for just under $11K to have them run some blood tests that 'no insurance' will ever pay for. I will have to take their supplements and do what they say, and if my diabetes is not revered it is because I, the patient cheated, (RED FLAG #3) NAM will not take responsibility if their program does not work.
Time to go, no thanks.
To reverse diabetes one needs to exercise, lose weight, and watch your sugar intake. You all know someone who has reversed their diabetes on their own.
Scam, SCAM, scam. Do not get sucked in, read up and make your own program and pay yourself the $11K.

We are truly sorry that this person did not have the experience he has hoped for. We are a medical clinic. The third Slide in the Dinner talk shows the credentials and pictures of both Fr*** M.D and Dr*** *** D.C. I am in charge of these dinner events and I
introduce her myselfI have been doing this for a very long time and never has Dr*** misrepresented herself. She also never uses the word “cure” nor do any of the other doctors In our clinic because doctors are not allowed to say they “cure”. They do however teach diabetics how to reverse their disease. I watch patients do this every day in our clinic and am always exited to see another patient become non Diabetic. I can also tell you from experience that Dr*** and Dr*** cannot accept every patient into care. We are simply too busy. It is made very clear at the dinner seminar that of a patient makes an appointment it does not guarantee they will be accepted into the diabetic program. I also know from speaking with Dr*** that she did not accept this patient into care because he did not feel he was a good candidate based on his ability to follow the programWe do our best to help as many people as we can provided they are willing to make their health a priority Kind Regards,*** ***

I attended a seminar a few months ago as well as a follow-up interview with Dr. Candi. The dinner seminar was much longer than I expected while much of the info was usefull. In my 1 on 1 interview with dr. Candi she became short with me because I came across as someone who was also knowledgeable about diabetes. I began to question some of her findings that didn't add up to me...she clearly didnt like being questioned. When she told me her protocol demanded that I eat meat three meals a day seven days a week I question the validity of that.
When I told her I hadn't eaten animal products in years and that research has shown meat in those quantities is dangerous to the kidneys and liver she became argumentative and nearly threw me out of her office. I knew a plant based diet free of processed and junk foods could reverse diabetes in a matter of a few weeks. I reversed mine at home on my own...saving the thousands of dollars I would've spent in her program. Look up doctors Neal Burnard, Michael Gregor and Joel Fuhrman. These guys are the real deal and will help you get well. They can be found on youtube for free. There information is sound and backed by peer review.

Review: • I was invited to a dinner seminar by Next Advance Medicine. They claimed that they can “cure” Type-2 diabetes. They asked me to pay $49 for a meeting with Dr. [redacted].

• In the dinner seminar, Dr. [redacted] portrayed and represented that she is doctor with a MD degree.

• After going to their office, I found out that she is a DC, not a MD, but claiming to "cure" Type-2 diabetes.

• During the discussion meeting with [redacted], DC, I asked some questions about their Type-2 diabetes curing program and costs, she quickly told me to leave the office.

• This is a SCAM built on fraudulent advertisement and fraudulent representation.

• I want refund of $49 for fraudulent advertisement and representation and discussion with [redacted] was nothing more that I already knew about Type-2 diabetes.Desired Settlement: Refund of $49.

My Doctor told me I had become a diabetic I told him I would not become a diabetic but he said you are one and you might as well face it after doing some reading I realized it was only going to get worse with time so I started to seek out alternatives because I did not want to take medication I was looking on the internet and found there was a lot of information regarding reversing the disease. I found out that Next Advanced Medicine was getting success in this area and chose to do their program . I have completed my program and my blood sugars no stay between 90 and 105. I never worry about my blood sugar now, not even if I have some sweets. It just is not a problem anymore. My wife Calls Dr. Candi "Wonder Women"

Wow that was a wonderful testimony sound so convincing I don't mine spending money as long I'm going to be cured. Hoping there is a real cured for a diabetic patient. I want to hear more testimony so I can join the program.
