color: #000000; -webkit-text-stroke: #000000; min-height: 11.0px} li.li2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 9.0px Helvetica; color: #000000; -webkit-text-stroke: #000000} span.s1 {font-kerning: none} span.s2 {font: 12.0px Helvetica; color: #000000}     Response to complaint:   As a preface to this response, I urge whoever is handling this case to please read this very carefully and contact me for further documentation if necessary.   I have a pristine reputation in my profession and am more than willing to supply screenshots, emails, and anything else necessary to show that this clients claims are unfounded, contradictory, and an unfair attempt to slander my otherwise flawless reputation.   This client originally signed up for a 2 month membership to our VIP service in the amount of $3,350.  This was paid in full on May [redacted], 2017.   As per the contract, I was required to provide the services that are explicitly stated on page titled, “ladies lounge” on my website.  This can be found in the header of every page.   The details of her membership were reiterated over the phone and attached to a PDF she was sent and received on May [redacted] via email.   The contract clearly states there are no refunds.  This is because the service she signed up for is extremely time consuming and there is limited availability for this service.  Once a client takes a spot in the rotation, other clients are passed up on.   This client was informed in several ways that there are no refunds on the service prior to me pushing through the purchase. She never protested and gave full permission.   She received a PDF immediately after signing up informing her that there were no refunds and was directed to look it over.  She never protested.   The F.A.Q./Terms of Service clearly states the no refund policy, which can be found by clicking a link at the bottom of every page on the website. Several pages throughout the website direct clients to read the F.A.Q. and terms of service before signing up.  These directives are placed on the apply page, the ladies lounge, and the gentleman’s lounge.   The reason I am so transparent about the no refund policy is so that clients know the risks of signing up for the service before they join. Although my success rates are tremendously high, this is an expensive purchase, so as a courtesy to my clients, I need to fully make sure that they fully understand the potential risks.   I am also completely honest and I tell clients if they don’t feel this service is right for them, or feel the finances would stress them, to not sign up because there will always be other clients to fill my rotation.   This transparency and honestly is all the more reason that these accusations against me are so frustrating.   Please note that her request came in September, but she used the service with no complaints since June and I have emails going all the way back to that date showing no complaints.   I would now like to discuss the various ways that her accusations against me should be discredited.   This client hired me to log onto her online dating account five days a week and send messages to quality men as if I am her.   I am essentially her surrogate online dating assistant.  I log onto her account, assume her username, and message men as if I am her, attempting to line up as many dates as I can.   My services were performed for long periods of time without any complaints on my client’s behalf.  There were many thank you’s and positive remarks along the way.   My job is to help her to the best of my ability which is what I have done throughout the entire membership.   In this complaint, she accuses me of suddenly requiring her to lie, and told me that me asking her to lie about her age is deceitful and disreputable, and that me doing so negates the no refund policy.   I would now like to clearly address this claim which is a combination of false and out of context.   With all my members, I attempt to give them advice on potential actions that can be taken.  I informed my client that studies show most online daters over the age of 50 lower the age that is shown in their profile by a couple years.   I merely presented that as an option, informing my client that if she would like to see if lowering her age yielded more responses, it is an option. This was merely an idea, nothing more.       I never said she must do this to be successful.  I never said it was required. I never changed her age on my own.  I merely put it out there as a possibility.   This was not a malicious suggestion. In no way did I insist she had to be deceitful to have success or do anything she’s uncomfortable with.  She claims I “required” this in her complaint which is completely unfounded.   In addition, there is no monetary advantage by me making a suggestion to lower her age.  I don’t get paid based on performance and there are no refunds on this service.   Whether she has tremendous results or no results, I still go on her account every day and perform the same exact work.  My point is, me telling her that she could potentially consider lowering her age a couple years as an option to have better results is solely for the purpose of laying out all my clients options.   There would be no incentive for me to make a suggestion like that other than the fact that I care deeply about my clients and want them to find happiness.   If she thinks it is a good idea and that she could get more out of the service that way, then we go that route.  If she doesn’t think so, we don’t.  I simply lay out possibilities.  I am hired to get the maximum results for my clients, so if I believe I can potentially help a client, I’ll run an idea by them.   When my client suddenly asked for a refund on September [redacted], I explained the no refund policy (which she already knew) and she stated the following,”Your suggestions that I lie negate any company policy regarding refunds.  It is clearly unethical and disreputable.”   As stated above, I can submit documentation clearly showing these were just harmless ideas and nothing more. It is not unethical or disreputable to run a possibility or suggestion by a client. It’s my job.   But perhaps most importantly, I am accused of being unethical, yet my client is openly guilty for committing an act on her on free will that lies about her age.   During the last week of September I resumed work on my client’s account after her being on pause for a while.  She informed me that one of the pictures she posted prior to reactivating her membership was a few years old. Here exact words in regards to the new picture were, “Even the one I put up is a few years old.”   This picture was posted before I even brought up the idea of lowering her age later that week.  This is complete contradiction to her claims.   My client never had one complaint against me in months.  Suddenly she wants half her money back, and when I inform her that there are no refunds, she claims she was outraged by being given the possibility of lowering her age. My client called me unethical, yet, she knowingly posted a picture on her own free will that does not portray herself at her current age (without any urging on my end).   I have evidence to back this up that can be demonstrated via multiple emails.   This alone shows a complete contradiction.  I am accused of being unethical and disreputable for an idea, while she is actually implementing the idea on her own free will in the form of a picture.   As to [redacted]’s other complaint, I did indeed make suggestions about how we could improve her pictures.  My exact words were,   I expressed that her pictures were very business like at points and that we can show a bit more femininity.   Again, this was merely a suggestion that I believed to be an issue that might be hindering results. I never demanded that she change her appearance. I only made a suggestion to potentially get better results for her.  Photo review and giving constructive feedback is part of the service she paid for.   In a follow up email I even expanded on my thoughts telling her that in the past other clients have been able to drastically improve their results after making adjustments to their photo galleries.   In my experience the clients who've really dedicated themselves to getting that part of the process perfect found their relationships at a much more rapid pace than those who posted what they already had and hoping for the best.   There is nothing dishonorable, offensive, or wrong with making these suggestions.  I was merely attempting to help to the best of my ability, knowing after 10 years in this field just how important having the right pictures are to success.   Again, I don’t get paid based on performance and there are no refunds, so any suggestions I make are solely for the benefit of the client and don’t further benefit me in any way.   When all is said and done, I urge you to do everything in your power to dismiss this claim.   To review:   The refund policy is clearly laid out in multiple places   I have weeks worth of emails with zero complaints from my client   I never forced anything upon my client or insisted she had to lie about anything   I never took any actions on my clients behalf without her permission   I have a multitude of emails showing results and work performed on my clients account exactly as promised.   But perhaps most importantly, the foundation of her complaints were two-fold in this complaint against my business.   “After thinking about this, I decided that I was not comfortable with either of these suggestions. I think it is unethical to suggest that I lie about my age and the type of person I am”   “While the one page "contract" does indeed say "no refunds", no where does it say that I would be required to lie at the suggestion of the company. I was simply asking for a good faith refund. Thank you”   The whole basis of her claim for a refund was that she said I was being unethical asking her to lie (out of context and not true) and that she would be required to lie (not true and can be proven with multiple emails).   Yet, prior to re-starting her membership with me, she posted a picture that was a few years old, committing the exact “dishonorable” at she accuses me of.   Furthermore, the whole basis of her hiring me shows in its own right that she is more than comfortable not being one hundred percent honest with others.  I am hired to go on her account every single day and manage her account for her.  It is not her initiating contact with others, it is me.   I am extremely proud of what I do and believe I provide a tremendously valuable service to really great people all over the world.  I have helped busy and successful professionals find love and long term relationships all over the world and it is truly one of the best feelings in the world.   However, this service does require whomever signs up to be comfortable with someone else going on their account and writing as surrogate. She signed up knowing that.   The contradictions of her complaints against my business are overwhelming.   Clearly there is no basis for her accusations and I’m offended by her sudden outrage.   This is unfortunately a client that has buyer’s remorse  Her attempts to smear my service in order to get her money back despite me performing everything that was promised is unfair and unethical.   All I have ever done was provide her the exact services she signed up for and helped her in the same way I have helped so many other clients to the absolute best of my ability.   I have worked extremely hard to build the reputation I have and have never had a complaint filed against my business, something I am extremely proud of.  I urge you to please do the right thing and close this case and remove the compliant without any further actions.   Thank you so much for your time in reading this.   Warmest regards,   Joshua
