My PM Steve took excellent care of this successful roof replacement. He was professional, responsive and timely with all communication. I have since recommended him to several neighbors based on the job he did. With a long career in property management I can be demanding as I set high expectations for those with whom I interact. I was very pleased in all of my interactions with Steve Mack.

I just had my roof replaced by Next Generation Roofing Contractors, LLC. This was just last week, in fact. (https://nextgrcroofing.com/)

I have some points to back up why I am so happy with them.

1) Communication was timely, professional and, most importantly, clear. No double-talk, no gotcha moments, and always willing to explain when I didn't understand the related jargon.

2) Materials they used were of much better quality than what other roofers were offering. I thought this was an industry standard, but not all materials are the same.
They showed me how the materials used by the original builders were of lesser quality and why they were failing. Then explained how the new materials were of better quality and why they would make a difference. They also made sure to show me how the materials and process meets the 2019 constructions codes, which the other companies didn't even mention. We all know not to assume, so it was important to me that this was communicated.

3) Steve M, their sales representative, was very patient, especially when I started asking the all important "money questions". He sat with me and went over ever single line item to make sure everything was clear. He also took care of all necessary permits, which would have taken me weeks to figure out. Although most companies that I spoke to offered to do this, not all did, and this tells me how well established and licensed this company is.

4) Attention to details: I lost count of how many times Steve came to inspect the progress on this project. At least once per day from what I can tell. Then he was here to inspect all the areas once the project was done. He noticed some areas that he was not completely satisfied with, and made the necessary arrangements to have those areas made better. Some examples are: alignment of one of the metal pieces, cleanliness of the finished product, and especially safety, where he even sent an employee with a magnetic cart to pick up every last piece of metal debris (nails, etc) shingle material and tar paper so that the end result was not only aesthetically pleasing, but also safe. Then the company also sent another person to clean up all the little globs of tar left behind by the installers. Final step: NGRC has lined up a gutter company to replace my gutters. This is to ensure that the project is completed correctly and matches how a new roof installation should look after all this effort.

I highly recommend Next Generation Roofing Contractors, LLC (https://nextgrcroofing.com/).
In my opinion, they did an excellent job. They worked with the insurance company and did the job for the price the Insurance told them and even helped me out with the deductible.
Steve even went and found some other areas which needed repair around the house (Window screens, garage door, gutters, interior ceiling areas, etc) which were included in the insurance claim and are being fixed/repaired/replaced as I write this.

If you are in need of roof repair, please don't open an insurance claim or sign anything with your insurance adjuster until you talk to the people at Next GRC.

This company replaced our roof after hurricane Michael. Once the roof was replaced I sent tony a text with the picture attached.
The company replaced our roof after hurricane Michael. I sent them the picture attached to Tony Horne and said this is not right and should be fixed. He told me they would come look at it and see whats going on. That was December 18th 2018. I have talked to Tony a few more times since then and nobody has been out. I texted Tony today and asked when the roof was going to be repaired. I can not get a response. I need to get this roof finished so that I can have my mortgage company pay them. I still need my trim fixed as well.

Desired Outcome

Either come fix the roof or walk away and I will have a company redo the whole thing again.

We do understand your frustration and we sympathize with you, Unfortunately with the aftermath left by hurricane Michael it created longer processing times between coordinating schedules for trades punch outs and warrantee issues nevertheless we do feel we kept the line of communication informing you That due to the time of completion with the holidays being around the corner that we would send our project manager to Address any issue of your concern that would need a correction starting the new year as mentioned our project manager was at the property January 15 and did agree with corrections with the framing structure he proceeded and drafted a scope of work for those corrections and as of January 22 all issues were corrected. We do extend our apology for the frustration that this caused But are glad that once directions were performed we received your approval and that you were satisfied with the end product. Thank you.

The company finally fixed the issues. Everything has been taken care of

The staff (Anthony, Clark and others), were all very professional, accommodating, timely and responsive. They started our roofing project close to the targeted start date and completed all promised work on time and to our complete satisfaction. The roofing teams were also prompt, thorough and finalized all work, again, to our full satisfaction. We have recommended them and their company to several other community residents as a result of their work and the many compliments we received for the work that was done by Nexr GRC.

We are humbly requesting your valuable guidance in proceeding with a matter concerning
the threat of a lien on my property- 13201 Chattanooga Lane, Orlando, Florida (1 ,945 sq
ft living area).
The company Next GRC Rooting is now demanding an additional $5,430.10 for work
that was closed out on (January 2018) for my roof restoration due to damages from the
September 2017 Hurricane lrma storms. As per the request and mutual agreement from
the company representatives, the full amount of $11,546.04 that the insurance provided.
was given to them.
Please see the attached letter for the response that is being sent to the company which
provides more information on the timeline of the events. Again, we are hoping that your
office is able to assist us against the extortionary actions of the Next GRC Roong
Company.

In response to this complaint. Our company has filed a lien for non payment/ balance due. I have attached the construction agreement that was signed by the Thomas's along with the scope of work which they picked out there roof color so they were fully aware their roof was being replaced. Yes he did pay his account with funds he received from his insurance company, but he has not paid his deductible which is his out of pocket cost, he also upgraded his shingle and that cost was $1050.00 this is included in his balance due. The construction agreement and other documentation clearly states that Next GRC will be supplementing the job due to Code/Upgrade Enforcement items which is exactly what we supplemented to the insurance. There was nothing in bad faith business about this transaction we only supplement code items on the roof that are required by the State of Florida to properly install the roof. The only balance due is his out of pocket cost for his upgraded shingle and his portion of the deductible.
Please see our attached documents.

Thank you

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
To Revdex.com-

This is in response to your inquiry as well as a response to GRC.

1. Two sales representatives of GRC guaranteed that there would be no out-of-pocket expense for me. Now they are demanding out-of-pocket expense from me.
2. A consumer assumes a roofing company observes code requirements. No additional invoice is presented to consumer. The permit issuing county is a guarantor of that requirement.
3. It appears that GRC is adding extra cost - an afterthought- to justify additional demands on me. If this is allowed to continue, false justifications can be easily introduced for additional cost.
4. There is still unfinished work on my roof. GRC has been informed about it. But nothing is done so far.
5. The GRC didn't deal with me in good faith- making false promises, breaking this original commitment to me, false claims to add on to cost, and using legal threats against my property. It was a bad experience and I am sorry that I used GRC for reroofing.

I had work done by this company and they went over and above all of my expectations. The work was top notch and they answered all of my questions. I had to use contractors in the past due to Hurricane Andrew and this company was so much better than the last had to deal with during Andrew. If another hurricane hits again I will make sure to call them.

Great work!! I'm very pleased with the job that they have done!! I will be recommending this company to my friends and family!!

I had them come out and do my shingle roof after it was damaged. They were courteous and got the job done quickly. I love the way my roof looks. I think they were great.
