When you first wrote to us about your cancellation request, your order has already been shipped out and cannot be retrieved and cancelled at that point.Your order was placed during the Holiday season, during which time... delay in shipment was very common. We apologize for the delay and will work with the shippers to find a solution.As for your package being damaged, we are very sorry for the incident and will strive to improve the packaging to avoid future damage.According to our refund policy, a 20% restocking fee would be deducted if the item is intact and functional. I am rejecting this response because:This is what this company wrote to me earlier which I did not agree withA lot of people like myself purchase items like this almost a year in advance before they use themI am one of those people who saw similar Christmas light displays on December 31, at the Denver Botanic GardensMy wife and I really liked these lights so in January I looked online and found this company with the similar light display knowing that the only time I would set them up fully would not be until the following Christmas timeWhy would I go to the bother to take all the lights out of the ten boxes and get on my ladder outside to attached all of the light strings to our trees for nothingSo I did like everyone else does and waited till last December and put the lights up on the trees a week before ChristmasA few days later we had snow, which turned to ice along with the windI live in the Colorado Rocky Mountains so this is the usual for DecemberNo big deal hereWithin the week after I put these lights up a lot of the ten boxes of lights started going out but most of the wires simply broke in half shutting off the majority of the lightsThe four boxes out of the ten that did survive only half of them on each string would workVery cheap materialThis is why I wrote to this company and explained this in detail and their response was what you see, very pitiful as they probably know there is no chance that their lights would survive one Christmas let alone a weekWowStill am requesting my full payment backI have a copy of my statement which I believe the amount was around $when I looked at it. I can get that to you if you need it-*** ***

warranty for our orders. This warranty starts on the day the package is confirmed delivered. Your starting to use the items 10 month later doesn't extend the warranty.
