COO Bryan is a tyrant
Chief Operating Officer thinks he is King of the city and go out to a public street and harass people on a public sidewalk. This man has serious delusions of granduer, and is a narcissist . local News reporter was outside doing a story on the bank, and this nut job comes out and starts treating and harassing the reporter. This is all caught on tape. Not a good look for this bank Bryan! Take some anger management classes, AND STAY IN YOUR LANE!

Review: There are times where I will use my bounce protection and have not one issue paying the $36.00 fee. However the last two times I have had issues with being charged is one, Nextier Bank changed a policy and posted it on the door of the bank saying deposits made after 4:30pm would be credited the next business day. Well I had just got out of the hospital that day and I needed to make a deposit but I got there at exactly 4:30pm. I said, "since I'm depositing cash, will this deposit post today?" The teller was not 100% sure, so she turned and asked another teller oh which said yes the deposit would go the ought and post that day. Sure enough, I checked my banks site the next day and there were a few NSF fees. I called and spoke to the manager who said it was my fault because I read the sign. I said, since I was depositing cash I asked your tellers who should have known the deposit would not have saved me NSF fees or not." She got very unprofessional with me and said, " I'll credit the NSF fees this time, but I will remark your account for no credits for NSF fees again." Well the new scenario is that Nextier got mobile deposits. I did a mobile deposit last Sunday and everything went though what looked to be fine. I I had no error messages and it told me it could take 1-2 business days for the deposit to post. I found it strange I was given no confirmation number but like I said there was no error message. Well when Monday passed and Tuesday came and still no deposits, but was hit with 2 NSF fees, it was my fault once again. They said I never made an attempt on Sunday to make a deposit. I made the deposit again on Tuesday with once again the same message saying the deposit was made.. The system gives no conformation number proving your transaction was successful, it gives you the last 4 digits of your bank account number in parenthesis. So when I tried to have the 2 NSF fees returned to me, I got told they would have to return them for everyone if it's not a bank error.Desired Settlement: The bank is saying it's not their fault that I got 2 NSF fees along with the fee from my water bill payment. With no proper confirmation number given, it's the banks word against the customer word on whether the transaction went through or not. She basically called me a liar and said there was no proof I attempted to make a deposit on Sunday November 16, 2014. I have no problem paying the fee if I make a mistake. This time this was a bank error and not mine. I feel I should be refunded $72.00.

Review: My former name is Angela Plonski. My son William Plonski had a bank account with NexTier Bank brought to him at his school (Rowan Elementary School in Seneca Valley School District in Western PA) with a "Save for America" kids bank account. They have banking days at the school. I divorced their dad during his time at the school and we didn't save after 2007. He left the school in 2009 or 2010 to larger schools. The account was forgotten. I received a statement showing the amount in the account ($12.27) was withdrew. The statement was for June 2013 and the monies were taken out 4/12/13. I contacted them to inquire June 2013 and they advised to go to state.pa.us to the unclaimed property site. I researched and did not find anything. We were selling our houses and moving and are now settled. I finally looked again and still nothing was listed for my son William Plonski in the unclaimed property section of the PA treasury. Today I called the bank and was given the # for the pa Treasury. I called the number and his info was not there. I call the bank again and on hold. Then I was told that due to inactivity there was a $25 fee applied and his was under that amount so they took the money to cover it. I asked why it was done without contacting me first so I could do something. She stated they contact everyone but I received nothing or I would have done something. It isn't a huge amount of money but this is accounts started in an elementary school that kids move out of. This is money taken from kids as they grow and parents may not remember. I don't feel this was handled well. I was given a line of bull and the run around taking hours out of my life to search for money they took from my child.Desired Settlement: I want my son's $12.27 and I want all the kids who started these savings accounts via Rowan elementary school adequately notified that this could happen to their kids.
