***BUYER BEWARE***
My ordeal with Expedia's NextJump Corporate Perks to date has been nothing short of horrible. No one at Expedia's main customer service lines seem to know little of anything about them, and the arrangements made on the employer website fail miserably in giving specifics concerning about retrieving refunds from prepaid rentals *before the sale*.
My own prepaid auto rental was cancelled the day it was made by Hertz, but when it came to removing the authorization hold on my credit cd, they told me that they were powerless to do so and that my funds were being held by NextJump. My credit card ppl said that they require a hold release to be issued, and though I've submitted multiple tickets at this point to my employer's customer svc portal concerning this matter, what info I can find to resolve matters points me to the same unreachable culprits.
This has cost me time and money, and there seems to be no end in sight for this "shadow hold" on my credit cd from a 3rd party whose presence in this transaction is all but completely opaque.
I won't be using these folks again anytime soon if I can help it. I'd rather have paid full price with a competitor and at least had transparency in the transaction that to go through this.
