This company is preying on immigrants and running a scam. They pay the bond for detained immigrants after asking for 20% set up fees and then charge clients 450 to wear a GPS device. You end up paying more for the device than for your bond and if your case is done before you begin making payments towards your actual bond you will still owe them the money for the bond and their fees which they do not disclose untill they send you a refund which is much less than what you initially paid them for the bond. They are running a scan and need to be shut down. They have already been banned in NY and should not be allowed to operate at all. They do not disclose what their fee is in addition to the set up fee there are other charges they add which you will only know about once your case is done and you receive a refund that is even if you get a refund at all.Buyer beware.

Rip off I found this company got my fiance a court date and hired Nexus Gps. I paid 2,490 down and two payments of 375. Nexus allows my fiance to drink and drive they gave him his keys while he was drunk. They took me off as cosigner without my knowledge and let someone else take over when I initiated the contract and it's my money

Review: My husband let Nexus use a rental house of ours as collateral for bonds on 7 people. The people are supposed to repay the bonds to Nexus then Nexus pays my husband for the use of our house as collateral. My husband died unexpectedly 2/1/22016. I am his executrix and sole heir. We have not received a payment in months. I have been trying to get information regarding the payment and status of the liens on our house since 4/28/16. I have made at least 17 phone calls leaving as many messages. I have written emails to two employees. I have talked to [redacted] on 3 occasions but he was never able to tell me anything.Desired Settlement: I would like to be contacted by someone in the company who can and will provide me with the status of my husbands account including paying the amount due within two weeks from date of contact.

Hi, I can assist you with this problem...please call me at 540-246-5252 or email me at [email protected] .

Review: I was given extremely misleading information and pressured to sign a contract in a hurry to help my friend, who is an asylum seeker and not a criminal, get released from immigration detention. I believe that the Libre by Nexus representative put inaccurate information in the contract, either on purpose or carelessly. Under pressure, and wanting to help my friend, I paid $2200 to Libre by Nexus. The agent was very eager to do everything quickly. The $2200 amount I sent was more than the downpayment. I didn't realize that I would not get this money back, and on top of that, I didn't understand what it would mean for my friend to be obligated to wear a GPS ankle monitoring device and pay over $400 per month in fees that DID NOT go towards the bond money. This monthly payment would last for the duration of my friend's hearing. I understand that his hearing could take many years, and at $400 per month that means more than $5000 per year just in fees. This is a lot of money for an asylum seeker and for me to pay! This was not presented clearly to me. Very soon after I completed the contract and sent in the $2200, and after having others who I trust review the contract, I asked for it to be cancelled and I asked Libre by Nexus for my money back. We were told in phone conversations by different representatives that they would give me my money back, less some fees. What the representatives said on the phone they would NOT send in writing in an email or text even though it was requested that they confirm in writing. I feel their representations were not straightforward and honest with me for this reason. They said a refund could take a few weeks to be processed. That is acceptable, but now it has been nearly 2 months and I have not received any refund or updates. Actually, representatives have stopped responding to written messages requesting an update.Desired Settlement: Quite simply, I would like this company to do the right thing and refund my money like they said they would in the phone calls when I let them know I didn't want to follow through with the contract.

Response:

File [redacted]Goof Evening:Libre By Nexus is in receipt of the complaint. Libre by Nexus mailed a refund check (Ck [redacted]) on January 5, 2016. This check never cleared. The client stated in subsequent phone conversations that he did not receive the check. The client had our toll-free number to our national call center and did not call that number at all. The client was given a contract that he stated he understood before signing. The process moved fast because, as the client stated in his letter, he wanted to help his friend.Another check was sent via certified mail to the client. We refunded the entire amount, as we previously agreed to do. Many of the statements listed in this complaint are based on emotion and not fact. Most are so egregious and not based in truth or merit. We have no problem at all communicating with the client via written or verbal means. We wish this person the best in future endeavors. -- [redacted]Executive Vice President
