Nexus Systems is amazing whenever their service is working because of one reason: Don't have to call their uninformed, rude support Their support is perhaps the worst I have ever dealt with, I have never had any dramatic experiences except with Nexus Background of running into Nexus - The tower in our town was originally ran by Bayou Internet (also located in/near Monroe, LA) Most of the time we never had internet service, but when they would actually show up to work on it - we never had a problem with it We had two radios with two packages (1/$each) However, later after years, they gave Nexus the tower Internet Connectivity - Whenever the internet is working, it works wonderfully! Haven't had any issue with the internet besides an occasional disconnect, or whenever we were having very spiky speeds (would jump constantly between having no internet and the advertised speed (3/for $80)) which allowed us to do nothing but basic email This went on for about months, and we NEVER had this issue before, in fact we had the basic package for 1/about months with Nexus and once we saw how great their service was, we upgraded Customer Support - I wish I was kidding when I said this, but support is absolutely awful If you call to complain, you get ignored If you call to offer about an issue and ask for someone to come by to check, they will not care When we did complain, we would get compensated either by the bill being paid or the service was increased (was brought up to 4.5/2) While this is nice, and we did appreciate it - it never fixed the problems we had before Many of their employees are extremely rude, and typically why we never call again unless the internet is actually out For example, when my son called - he was telling them who he was and who he was calling for - he started the call with "Hello, my name is Bruce Roberts, calling for Renee Roberts..." and was unable to finish his sentence before the employee cut him off and told him that wasn't his name While I understand the employee also has talked to my ex-husband who also has this service, the employee was quick to denounce my son's name My son was basically unable to gain any actual support as the employee continued to cut him off about his name, and was not worried about putting a ticket in for the support techs to look at Also, we especially don't call when a support member during the day shift, whom I am actually sure is in some kind of leadership position We will call this employee Sarah (not actual name) for the rest of the paragraph Sarah does not care if you want help, Sarah does not care if you are a paying customer, Sarah does not care if you cancelled their service, and Sarah is completely willing to make a fool of herself while talking about stuff she has no idea about Overall - Nexus is AMAZING at providing their service When it works Nexus has absolutely HORRIBLE service, and I truly hope they can change it because I would love to call them and have a comfortable call with them without feeling I am being attacked every single time, or my sons call

Background of running into Nexus - The tower in our town was originally ran by Bayou Internet (also located in/near Monroe, LA). Most of the time we never had internet service, but when they would actually show up to work on it - we never had a problem with it. We had two radios with two packages (1/1 $50 each). However, later after 2 years, they gave Nexus the tower.

Internet Connectivity - Whenever the internet is working, it works wonderfully! Haven't had any issue with the internet besides an occasional disconnect, or whenever we were having very spiky speeds (would jump constantly between having no internet and the advertised speed (3/1.5 for $80)) which allowed us to do nothing but basic email. This went on for about 3 months, and we NEVER had this issue before, in fact we had the basic package for 1/0.5 about 2 months with Nexus and once we saw how great their service was, we upgraded.

Customer Support - I wish I was kidding when I said this, but support is absolutely awful. If you call to complain, you get ignored.
