First and foremost we are sorry to hear that your experience with our club did not meet your expectationsWe strive to meet hundreds of families expectations everyday, and while you feel we fell short we would like to take this opportunity to offer some clarity to this situationAs stated by the complainant they did in fact sign up their child for our Academy programThe initial payment was on 1/and final payment was made on 3/The season runs from February to the beginning of MayThe first time the complainant reached out to our staff was on 4/What prompted the conversation with our Academy DOC on April 11th, was a field closureBecause of overnight rains many fields in San Antonio were closedOn this occasion the complainant's child was set to play on another local clubs fieldsBecause of the weather, the home club decided to close several of its fields that were too wet to play onThis was not our decisionWe explained we had absolutely no control over what another club chooses to do with their fieldsIf they felt the need to close them due to storms earlier that morning, then it was their decisionWe were notified by the other club and then sent text and email to the teamComplainant stated he never received notificationEmail was verified to be correctThe complainant then went on to claim we haven’t communicated well with him since day one and that his son has the worst coach ever and then asked for a full refundA few days later our Registrar reached out to the family to explain why they would not be receiving a full refund and in that conversation was hung up on by the complainantHad he brought a valid complaint to our attention then we would have been more than happy to assist in trying to work on a solutionWe have a board member out at our fields every single day of the week and at anytime he could have approached one of them to address any issue or issues he had with the clubThe fact that the complainant waited until the last weeks of a three month season to ask for a full refund was the main reason a refund was not issuedThe child had weeks of training and games that he attendedCost for the coaches and fields for these sessions had to be paidIt would be unfair to the hundreds of other children to provide a refund this late in the seasonTo date complainant's child is still attending practice & games
