Initial Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2016/07/27) */
The Customer received an e-mail blast stating that there were aproxso many days left on item qtyHowever we only have a limited amount and once they are gone that is all, no rain checksThe item advertised was close dated and marked down
to reflect this and once the close dated items were sold through the new shipment was marked back to price and put on floorWe did have item and sell previous day at .98centsThis person contacted me via e-mail and I responded and offered coupons (which act as store credit) to make up the difference lost on paying full price vrsthe markdown priceThey never responded to e-mail and filed complaintI apologize I did not respond sooner as mail came to previous owners and I do not open mail not addressed to meI made the effort to right this as I was on vacation during the incident but responded as soon as I arrived home to customerBeing an outlet store our prices are subject to qtys available and Blasts are estdays supply on hand as specified in e-mail and not a guaranteeSo sorry
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 14, 2016/07/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The store did not send me an emailHe says he sent an email and I didn't respondSimply not trueI for sure will not waste my time or money supporting the grocery outlet after reading his response
Final Business Response /* (4000, 16, 2016/08/02) */
I apologize if you did not receive the e-mail as I looked in my sent mail however in looking more closely I assumed the original e-mail was from youThe e-mail was very similar to the complaint and it is not unlikely you were not the only one who was upset by the .98cent close dated Brats selling so quicklyI assumed you had tried to contact me before contacting Revdex.com to right this but I guess I was mistaken in thisIm sorry you feel this is advertisement however were sold at the cent price because they were clearance for close date on 6/12/which prompted the electronic WOW alert to sendthe days is an estimation and not a guaranteeI know sometimes once you feel wronged there is no way to make things rightI wish you had contacted me directly as I would have hoped to have made this rightHowever as stated above you are obviously upset and you have decided to shop elsewhereI hope that someday you reconsider and just know we are all independently operatedAgain I apologize for mistakenly thinking I e-mailed you before and that a resolution could not be found

I'm surprised you used this forum as you were given my business card to get ahold of me when asked. So to start I'm sorry but we do not allow bikes to be stored in the store, and I am surprised you returned after getting upset about this and...

saying that we had just lost a customer and then returned about an hour later to shop. My manager whom was the female involved in this let me know about the situation as soon as you left the premises. The reason you were approached is because you had your backpacks open and closed during your shopping while in our store, Opening backpacks in carts while grabbing merchandise does give us reasonable cause to suspect foul play, however since they were not 100% sure they said nothing in the store. Outside the store upon opening your back packs you had items which we sell in our store that were not purchased in that transaction whether they were preexisting in your backpack or not was in question which is why your backpacks were not searched when offered, however offering customers walking into the store the merchandise in question also arose suspicions already in place. you two immediately went in separate directions and continued going back to aisles already shopped, spending nearly 2 hours in the store. a typical shopping experience for our shoppers is 45 minutes, not that the amount of time or revisiting aisles was in violation of anything just also very curious. I do apologize for the manner in which my employee spoke to you and profanity used however had you just left the premises when asked originally it may not have escalated to that point, but again I do apologize as messages can come across without profanity. I stand by there decision that you may not return to the store as though we strive for great customer service my employees are human beings too and the words spoken to them were not cooperative or respectful on your part either. The fact that you did not contact me directly to discuss and want to use Revdex.com only makes me think you like the drama. Please do not ask for me to respond again as I feel this is resolved and maybe in the future you will understand that opening backpacks in stores and giving things away to customers coming into the store are not normal shopping etiquette. I do apologize as you did not take anything and things could have been handled better on both ends.

Thank you for confirming that you know we did not take anything. I assure you we did not. Outside, we did not have things in our backpacks that you sell in your store that were not purchased at your store or purchased elsewhere, there simply was not! I apologize for not shopping the way you think is typical. Why is it suspect if I want to give a jacket away that I did not have room for and did not want? As for why I used this forum ? The people you allow to run your business are rude children, which speaks volumes for your character so in my mind I would expect nothing different from you and I wanted to make certain that you had to be accountable for an explanation of the accusation. It has nothing to do with "drama". furthermore I can see why you are not a member of the Revdex.com, your business would not qualify as their standards are too high for you to meet.
