I organized a group of seniors to visit the [redacted] Christmas show 11-4-14. We are from Florence, SC and Aynor is half way to Myrtle Beach. Some of the seniors needed to use the restroom, therefore, we stopped at the MB Welcome center in Aynor. We were not greeted as Welcomed guests but rudely informed that we should not be there. Buses not allowed and informed that the sign outside clearly posted that message. A gentleman and Lady informed our folks of that. Our small bus had 23 people on board and we had only 12 that got off to use the restroom. We also had 12 people following along in cars (who did not use the facility). #1, those folks certainly didn't display any welcome to our group. #2 We were on our way to MB having spent a $1,000 in tickets. If this is not a WELCOME center, it should not be advertised as such. Where else could we stop to use facilities? The fast food stores and convenience stores do not want us if we are not purchasing anything from them. Our group represented 35 people (families). You can imagine the kind of publicity your Welcome Center will receive based on how we were treated. I am appalled to say the least and could not enjoy the show that we went to see because of this rudeness. If there is a charge for the tissue and water that we used for about 12 people for every bit of 10 minutes, please notify me and I will surely see that you are reimbursed and I apologize for the inconvenience that we imposed upon your two employees there.
