Ripped off
Time made me oat in full ..2500 I think...way before I got the puppy whom wasn't old enough to send. I then had a stroke and informed her and she resold the puppy . She kept the full amount even though I told her I needed it for medical bills . She got paid twice for the same puppy ..the first dog I got from her was wonderful but died at one year from a heart murmur . She is very greedy and uncaring

I am extremely saddened to read these reviews. I first dealt with Tina over 15 years ago when I purchased an amazing black/tan puppy from her. He was healthy, handsome and full of personality. I purchased a second puppy from her a few years after that and was equally pleased. Tina always acted professionally and advised me of any potential issues that I could experience with either puppy. I would not hesitate to purchase a puppy from her in the future. As a matter of fact, I saw these negative reviews while checking her website for availability.

Not a full Pom
For the record, I love my “Pomeranian” that I got from Tina with all my heart. However, I believe that I was misled and that my dog is not what was advertised. I was told the parents were 3 and 5 pounds, and that my Pom would be around 5-6 pounds. My Pom turned out to be nearly 9 pounds (she is not obese, just a big “Pom”). She also has flat fur and does not look like a regular fluffy Pom/like her parents at all. She looks mixed with a different breed or has different parents. Now when I look at the prices for what other All Star Poms were sold, I see that my dog was sold for significantly less than others. This further leads me to believe that my dog is not the offspring of two Poms as I was told. As I mentioned above, I love my dog and she has not had any significant health issues yet (she’s 3 years old now). I wouldn’t trade her for the world. But when I read other reviews that they were also not sold Poms, I realized my suspicions are likely accurate and will plan to do a dna test at some point. Even my friend that has 6 Poms has said mine is not a full Pomeranian, and strangers are confused by what breed my dog is. I would have probably still purchased her even with knowing the truth. Tina should just be honest with her customers and certainly should not be charging as much as she is.

My All Star Pom
I’m sad to see negative reviews on Tina’s poms she definitely is not all about making money in fact she graciously gave my family a puppy that she could have made at least $2500 on, we are not related and basically only know each other through the community in which we live she wanted to give back to us because we had been a foster home for children for 29 yrs and had helped many children. Our puppy is 2 yrs old and absolutely beautiful she is small but healthy and very active. Tina takes pride in her kennel and all of her dogs! We are forever grateful for our little Kiara we adore her 💖

If I could give 0 stars I would. STAY AWAY. SHE IS A SCAM ARTIST. She sold us a puppy saying it was a Pomeranian. After a few weeks she wasn’t looking like a Pom. I texted her a picture and she ADMITTED that the puppy is NOT a Pomeranian. She then stopped answering my texts. She owes me a LOT of money. Not to mention the health issues this puppy has had so far. DO NOT GIVE HER MONEY. STAY FAR AWAY. SHE IS A CROOK!

I too have had problems with Tina at All Star Poms. I bought a sweet little girl nearly 14 years ago. She went to work with me every day as an emotional support dog. At age 5 she began losing her coat. I spent thousands on testing at a veterinarian dermatologist. (Tink is now completely bald). Alopecia is genetic. I do not believe Tina retired Tink’s mom. Several years later I saw Tink's mom on her website).
At the time of Tink’s hair loss, I called Tina and explained the situation. I had to retire Tink and I asked Tina if she would give me some credit for another puppy. She said no. A few days later she dropped the price to the price I asked for. I have bought 3 poms since... none from All Star Poms. I would not recommend this breeder.

Tracheal collapse is a concern for many pet owners who wonder whether or not dog collars or dog leashes can actually cause tracheal collapse in their pet. The answer to that question is not cut and dry; there are many factors that can affect what damage, if any, a collar can have on a dog’s trachea. Let’s take a closer look at what factors can influence the possibility of tracheal collapse from collars, as well as what to do if you are concerned.

Tracheal collapse occurs when the cartilage rings from the trachea become misshapen, or “collapsed,” causing breathing difficulties which can become serious and even fatal if not treated. There are several factors which can influence whether or not a collar may cause tracheal collapse.

Health
Obese dogs are at a higher risk for tracheal collapse than dogs that are not obese, due to the added pressure that the extra fat puts on their body.
Breed
Some breeds of dogs—and certain genetic lines within those breeds—are more prone to having softer, more easily damaged cartilage rings in their trachea than others. Typically, smaller breeds have weaker cartilage rings which means they are more susceptible to trachea collapse overall; it also means they are more susceptible to collapse caused by an external force, such as a collar.
Forceful Tugging
Dogs who do not know how to work properly on a leash—that is, loosely without running and tugging themselves—may be hurt when the collar pulls tightly against their neck, which puts pressure on their cartilage rings.

Type of Collar
Thinner, harder collars may cause more damage to the trachea than collars which are wider and made with softer materials. Some people recommend using wide, soft, padded collars on dogs who may be prone to tracheal collapse to help reduce the risk of collar damage.
Type of Leash
When a dog pulls on a leash that is attached to their collar, it causes the collar to forcefully press against their trachea. If the dog is using a different type of leash, such as a leash that attaches to a harness rather than a standard collar, then there is no external pressure put on the trachea.

Ways to Reduce the Risk of Tracheal Collapse
There are some ways you can reduce the risk of tracheal collapse. These ways include:

Ensuring that your dog maintains an active lifestyle to reduce the chances of them becoming obese
Using harness-style collars rather than collars that go around the neck
If you must have a collar that goes around their neck, choose a wider collar made with softer material so that it isn’t as hard if it gets pushed against the trachea
Teach your dog to walk properly on a leash so that they don’t pull and tug, causing the collar to push against their neck.

Learn your facts before running your mouth. I do not do any inbreeding.

Hi, I am sad to say that although I love my 2 poms, they are kind and gentle, full of personality, they both have Alopecia X. They began to lose their hair at 6 years old. Do not let a vet tell you it is low thyroid. Go see a specialist. This is an inherited skin disease which makes the dogs lose their fur. First on their back and now 1 has almost nothing left. The absence of hair in the follicle creates infection on the skin. dark brown patches of bacteria and god awful seborrhea dermatitis. They have to wear clothes n public and now need sun screen if outdoors. If you look on Tina's website you may see dogs cut in a "lion" fashion, which only fur at the head and neck. Now I realize this hides the alopecia. When I asked her about problems with any of the parents she denied knowing anything. We paid 2500.00 for one and 1800. for the other. We drove out to her house to get them. I cannot buy another dog knowing she lets this happen. If anyone doubts this I will send photos!

Alopecia X. Alopecia X is hair loss with no known cause, and it's one of the few health issues that can plague Pomeranians. Vets also call this adult onset growth hormone deficiency, while breeders often dub it black skin disease. Sadly this is a very common condition in the pomeranian breed which has been on the rise. It is nothing the breeder can prevent, a breeder can not determine whether a puppy will come down with this condition when he/she is an adult. Alopecia can come from many factors including food allergies, low thyroid, hormones etc. I do not have ANY dogs in my breeding program without fur. My lion cut poms are just that. Summer cuts so they dont have all the fur for the summer. If the poms as you say have no fur with alopecia why is it my lion cut poms have fur on their entire body. Get your facts straight befor bashing a breeder that has been breeding excellant poms for 26 years.

This is my personal opinion. I went on Allstarpoms website and found a beautiful puppy. I proceeded to do everything as requested. I first put a deposit down of $750.00 which was half of the price of the puppy. Then a few weeks later I sent another $750.00 plus the cost of shipping and did a signed contract for this little puppy. I then contacted Tina at Allstarpoms to find out when the puppy would be shipped to me. Tina then told me that she was too little to ship. After a conversation we had she said as long as somebody flies with her that it would be fine. Told her that same day that we would call her back and let her know about flights. So I proceeded to call her back and got no answer and couldn't leave a message because her voice mail was full. In the meantime she had already reposted the puppy back on her website for an extra $1000.00. She first listed the puppy at $1500.00 when I purchased her then she went up to $2500.00 because at this point she realized the puppy was going to be small. It's pretty sad when you do business just to gain more money for yourself instead of the puppy going to a good home. One thing I did appreciate was Tina did send me my money back but she also blocked me from seeing her website. I would not recommend Allstarpoms if you are looking for a pomeranian puppy!!!!

After keeping the puppy until 12 weeks of age and having her vet checked twice, both times the puppy getting car sick, I explained to [redacted] that the puppy got sick while traveling and was to small to ship unattended. She emailed that she was sorry to hear this and asked if she would be getting a refund in a situation like this. I explained that yes I would certainly send her a full refund. She then emailed that she was sorry she couldn't get the puppy. Several days later I advertised the puppy stating the puppy MUST be picked up locally as she was to tiny to be shipped. [redacted]s boyfriend saw the new pictures and called to ask if it would be safe for him to pick the puppy up IF he chose to fly out to get the puppy. I told him Yes as long as the baby was with him at all times. He said he would talk to [redacted] to see IF she still had an interest in the puppy, He would also have to see if he could get time off of work to fly out for the puppy. Earlier that day before speaking with [redacted]s boyfriend, Mary, a sweet older lady living 20 minutes away, had emailed asking if the puppy was available. Yes the puppy was available. That evening Mary purchased the puppy. If [redacted]s boyfriend would have committed to flying out for the baby I would have posted her as spoken for, but they were still undecided as to whether [redacted] still wanted the puppy and if her boyfriend could get time off of work to fly out for the puppy. I do what is best for my babies, If I were in this for the money I would have shipped the puppy at 8 weeks of age. Instead I kept her until 12 weeks of age until she was ready to go and placed her with a local family which was best for her. Yes I posted her at a higher price due to the fact I kept her an additional 4 weeks caring for her, additional vaccines, additional vet health checks, and re-advertising fees. No I did not get the asking price for her but that's ok, My concern was to get her in a local home where she was loved, healthy and safe. I'm sorry that [redacted] was unable to get the puppy. I am unhappy that in the review things were not stated as they really happened. [redacted] asked for a refund when told the puppy was not good with traveling. I was never told they would contact me with flight details as they were unsure whether they even wanted such a small baby that had trouble with car sickness, Instead I was told they would get back to me with whether or not they wanted the pup and if they would be able to fly out for her. I have no control over who can and can not see my website, As far as I know the entire world can see my website, there is no such thing as blocking people from seeing your website.

You should consider yourself lucky! I purchased a pom from her 7 years ago and at the age of 2 my baby had to have emergency trachea surgery for a collapsed trachea. I paid $2500 for this pom and then $3000 for a surgery 2 years later! He has several other health issues that I've had to doctor since he was a puppy. I believe that these dogs are being inbreed and the breed only cares about the money! This is a glorified puppy mill! I am thankful for each day that I have with my pom because he is one very unhealthy Pom!
