July 7,2014Dear *** ***,Enclosed is a reply as you requested, regarding complaint # ***, concerning the well pump replacement and repairsA copy of her plumbing bill and a copy of the letter from her attorney are also included. As you can see by the detailed
description on her bill of the work performed; I did check all exposed piping, including," the hand dug well" with the system pressurized at PSII found no leaks; everything looked fineIt was after I installed the new well pump and re-pressurized the system that I found the hairline crack in the 1" nylon inside the hand dug well.It was 5:PM when I finished the repairsIt was raining outside, as I loaded the ladder and tools on my truckI explained to her that she now had water, but please let me know what she would like to do with the well pumps; leave the new pump installed, or re-install the old pumpI explained to her, that I would be more than happy to do whatever she'd like, as she has been a customer of Nicholasen's Plumbing & Heating since the early 1960'sI explained to her, that I do not recommend re-installing the old pump, as it is years old, full of rust, and the internal parts show wear and tearThe old pump was installed in November She said fine; she'll talk to son, and she'll be in touchShe did not call.I contacted her several times by phone, over a 3-week period, as to what she would like to do with the well pumpsShe said she was waiting for some bills to come in, and that she needed to go to the bankShe told me during our phone conversations, she would prefer to keep the new pump, but her son would like the old pump re-installedShe said, "Thank you for calling, I'll talk to him, and let you know"She did not call. After several failed attempts by phone to settle this matter, I mailed her an itemized bill with a detail description of the work performedAbout 2-days later, I received a letter from the Revdex.com, & an attorney. In regards to her son's issues with the ladderA hand dug well is a well laid up with stonewall stonesA ladder must be put down into the water, resting it on the bottom of the well pit Weighing lbs., a man needs a good strong, sturdy ladder to enter the pit safelyMost plumbing and heating contractors DO NOT carry a 34* extension ladder on their truck, therefore, I needed to return to the shop to retrieve one.Regarding her sons issues with the outcome/settlement Her son did NOT ask me to cut her a break on the labor, but did want me to give her a $CREDIT for the old pumpI replied, “What am I supposed to do with an old rusted pump"?Why customers want to throw contractors under the bus, when several attempts were made to resolve this matter is totally ridiculous.Date of Repairs: May 23, 2014Start Time: 11:AMCompletion Time: 5:20PMTotal hours: *Did not stop for lunch*Hourly Rate: $Total Labor: $406.25I look forward to the Revdex.com's advice on how to proceed with settling this matterThank you and God bless,
I received your letter dated June 27, I contacted *** *** by phone on Monday, June 30th at 9:AM, explaining that I would reply the week of July 7thMy secretary was visiting her ill father in Illinois, and is not expected to return until July 5thThank You

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to mei tried to come to an agreement with you on here instead of the lawyer but I can see its not going to work so from now on you can deal with her lawyer completelyNow its you who needs to get your facts straightThis is not *** her son its *** her grandson who WAS in the basement with you and her when you said about a lean on the houseShe is also very aware of whats going onShe told her neighbor *** about your outrageously bill and *** hired a lawyer for my grandmotherAnd you did leave the last pump you removed and took this one which was still goodNot a rusted out pumpSo no more dealing with the Revdex.com deal with her lawyerHes waiting for your response.
Regards,
