Nicholls Fence

We put a deposit of 2000.00 on a privacy fence on May 8,2018. Mr. told us it would be between 2 and 4 weeks to have our fence installed and it is now June 24,2018 with not one bit of work done. I called the office 2 weeks ago to find out when we were on the schedule and was told by the lady in the office that she would get back to me and I have had no word on when that would be.

Do not Hire this contractor! We signed an acceptance quote from Mr. Nicholls on 05/04/2018. The quoted amount was $1,490 and Mr. Nicholls requested a 1/2 down payment. He had done work for us in the past and it was acceptable and he seemed trustworthy so we gave him $600. This is something we don't do ordinarily but in out minds we thought we were dealing with a reputable contractor. He said he would do the work in 4 weeks. We are in the 7th week now and we are unable to reach Mr. Nicholls. He cashed our check but has never started the work. We have called him 5 times. We spoke to him once and he said he would get back to us which he never did. We have spoken to a woman who answers the phone and she told us he will call us. He never has. We've requested the return of our $600 but have not received it. I wish it would be possible to give a -0 negative review. Again, do not use this contractor!

Place a 50% deposit of with Nicholls Fence and Rail on October 2, 2017, with order for work to be done at residence . Understanding was work to be completed by March/April of 2018. Have placed multiple call to *** Nicholls the owner, with promise of start date by May 29 after multiple excuses of why job could not be completed in March or April of 2018 as the contract states. The job has not been started as of this day. Multiple calls have been placed to ***, with no call back or follow up.
