Review: I had my 2012 GMC Terrain serviced at Nick Chevrolet on 2/15/16 because the engine was over heating and the my temperature gauge wouldn't come off of cold. They informed me that is was the thermostat which was replaced under my warranty. Couple days later my heat in my vehichle is not working properly so I called service dept on 2/18/16 to let them know I'm bringing vehichle in to see what the problem is. I have to turn my heat up past 88 degrees for the heat to kick on once I start turning the temperature down it starts to blow lukewarm air once I get down to 75 degrees its completely cold. It was never like that before the thermostat was replaced. I take vehichle in on 2/18/16 and they said there was no air pocket that they could find and they used a thermometer and the temperature on thermometer matched the temperature in the vehichle. Then they brought in a Chevy Equinox saying they have the same heating system and that heat blows the same as mine and they are telling me its normal and there is nothing wrong with it. I disagree. I shouldn't not have to turn the heat up past 80 degrees for hot air to blow. I put my defroster on 77 degrees and it wouldn't defrost the windows because it was blowing cold air. I argued with Carey and also with the service manager Louie. I told both of them I will be taking my vehichle elesewhere for a 2nd opinion and if its determined there is a problem then Nick Chevrolet will be covering the cost and Louie said he isn't paying for nothing! I informed him that I will go higher than him he claims there is no one higher than him (he's the service manager) and that I would be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. It feels like the air conditioning is on in my vehichle. Right now where I live the temperature outside is 17 degrees and I can't even get warm in my vehichle driving to work because its blowing lukewarm to almost cold air on 79 degrees.Desired Settlement: I want my vehichle to be repaired correctly and for the heat to blow properly on the desginated temperature.

Revdex.com ID #[redacted] To Whom It May Concern:On 2/15/2016, Ms. [redacted] brought her 2012 GMCTerrain to Nick Chevrolet Inc. for service on a complaint that the check engine light was on. After diagnosis it was found to have a code for a thermostat failure. Repairs were completed on 2/15/2016. Service Advisor Cary M[redacted] received a phone call in the morning on 2/18/2016, that her vehicle was not making heat. She was told to bring it right over to have it looked at. When she arrived we pulled the vehicle in and turned the heater on high and found it to be making excellent heat. When the customer was approached about her concern, she stated that we needed to put the setting at 79 degrees. When we set the heater to the 75 degree setting it was blowing a slight warm temp. We then inserted a thermometer in the outlet vent and observed the reading. The setting on the control head matched almost perfect to the outlet reading on the thermometer. No matter what the temperature was set on, high or low settings, there for leading us to believe that the system is operating as designed. We even pulled a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox with the same Heate/AC control and showed the customer that is was working just as the newer model vehicle. In her opinion the vehicle made higher heat at a lesser setting. This was warranty repair that was done using genuine GM Parts and we are satisfied that the repairs addressed the problem the vehicle was brought in for. We do not understand why she refuses to turn the setting to a higher temp to satisfy her heat needs.Yours Truly,Louis ** P[redacted]Service ManagerNick Chevrolet

Review: On March 11, 2013, I purchased a used (2010) vehicle from this dealership. After I drove the car home that evening, the check engine light came on. I called the dealership the next day and made an appointment to have it looked at. I took the car in on March 13, 2013. After hours of not hearing from anyone, I decided to call the dealership. I was told on the phone that the check engine light was on because the car was sold to me with an aftermarket exhaust and headers (which I was not told about when I bought the car) and that it would not pass emissions because these parts were causing an O2 sensor error code. I went to the dealership to pick up the car. I was then given a paper detailing the results of the failed emissions test. Everyone at the dealership denied knowing that these parts were on the car and claimed that I "knew they were on the car when I bought it", which is false. I was never told anything about these parts or the emission testing until after I bought it. After looking over the paper more carefully, I noticed it was dated March 7, 2013. Why would the dealership give me a paper dated March 7, 2013 when the test was supposedly done on March 13, 2013? Either they falsified the date on the emissions paper or the emissions test was actually done on March 7, 2013...which would mean they did in fact know that these aftermarket parts were on the car and that it wouldn't pass emissions. After speaking with the sales manager, service manager etc., their solution to the problem was to get the stock parts back from the previous owner and for me to return the aftermarket parts to him. First of all, how do I know where these parts from a car that's three years old were stored or if they are in good shape still. Secondly, why would I just give away parts to a car that I paid for? The dealership wouldn't even have a second key made for the car and I was never given an owner's manual.Desired Settlement: I would like the dealership's sales practices further investigated and some answers from someone regarding these issues.

I am writing to you in response to that the letter that I received from you on August 11, concerning the complaint that you received from [redacted] that was assigned ID [redacted].

????????????????When it was brought to my attention that there was an issue with the aftermarket exhaust that the previous owner had installed on the 2010 [redacted] that Ms. [redacted] purchased from our dealership, I had a meeting with the Dealer Principle, the Service Manager, the shop foreman, Ms. [redacted], her boyfriend and myself.

The option was given to Ms. [redacted] to have the brand new factory exhaust equipment installed on her vehicle at no charge to her and return the aftermarket system to us thus resolving any emissions testing issues. Ms [redacted] and her boyfriend made the decision to keep the aftermarket exhaust installed being fully aware that there would be an emissions testing issue with this exhaust. They stated that they liked the looks and the sound of the aftermarket exhaust better.

I believed that this meeting resolved any issue with the purchase until we received your letter.

Review: I recently took my car to be serviced under warranty a a few different items. The business corrected one problem and said they fixed another. I then had to go back and had to argue with them that it was not fixed. I refused to pick up my car till it was corrected. Once this happened then the issue with my heater was fixed. In the meantime I was talked to and degraded as if I didn't know what I was talking about. Then giving Nicks Chevrolet the benefit, I went back for another issue all of which is covered 100% by warranty just to be told that there was nothing wrong. All these times I was given a rental free of charge by them. The last time I was there and will never go back I picked up the rental, had it over night and then returned the car the next day after hours due to my schedule. So I returned it on a Wednesday night. I then received a phone call Friday around 4 pm, 2 days after I had dropped the rental off saying that the car had just been checked in and there was damage to the rear bumper. They accused me of backing into something. I told them there was absolutely nothing that I backed into and still insisted that is what happened as there was a small scratch on the top of the bumper near where the bumper and trunk meet. I feel that they are only trying to get money from me as they had to do all the work to find nothing as they say. Also how can they insist I backed into something and why wait 2 days to check the vehicle in. Who knows what happend to it while it set on the lot or what the person did who drove it after me that was responsible for washing it and what have you. I then spoke to a few people who have had similar issues with them like I did and going as far as calling them crooks as they are only out to get your money. They don't do what they are supposed to and don't do what they are told. They do the bare minimum and charge for the maximum. When they can't get the maximum out of you, they do things like this to people.Desired Settlement: I want to not be responsible for damages that are uncertain when they happend. Due to the fact that I was not contacted till almost 48 hours after the car was dropped off aND was not the last person to drive the car

ID #[redacted] 4To Whom It May Concern:Ms. Amber [redacted] brought her 2015 Chevrolet Malibu on 2/19/2016 for a concern of run-stop not properly working. A Nick Chevrolet Rental Car was provided at no out of pocket cost to the customer. The attempted repairs that were performed for Ms. [redacted] has no bearing on what we are trying to resolve. The rental car she was provided was a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu with 2,186 miles. The customer took the vehicle with no damage. When it was returned, it was done after hours. The lot attendants did not get to wash the car until the next day and reported that there was damage to the rear bumper. I contacted Ms. [redacted] and informed her of the damage found and stated she would need to contact her insurance and report a claim. Her insurance company is [redacted], came in and wrote an estimate. Paid for the repairs over $500.00 deductable that Ms. [redacted] has. We now have the burden to try to collect the $500.00 deductable from Ms. [redacted]. Which she is resisting to pay. She stated that I said she hit something. That is not entirety correct, as I said that someone could have hit into the car while it was parked.Yours Truly,Louis *. P[redacted] Service Manage
