Nick, after you and I spoke about this, you advised me you were having some personal problems and we agreed that you would finish the work for $in lieu of sending me the $that you had agreed to. You said you were about a month out on work and would schedule me after the month. It has been about two months and I have not heard back from you. I sent you an email last week requesting time you could do job and have not heard back from you. If you do not want to honor our agreement, send me the check for the $250. *** ***

I talked to *** on the phone about this issueMy response was not that their is nothing I can do about itThere is a framed edge on the bot*** of his siding that restricted me from raising the slab to a level I would have preffered to raise the back patio toI did not bid the removal of this
ledge in my estimate nor do I carry the neccessary tools to professionally tear out this ledge so that I could raise the slab higherI told *** I would be happy to come give an estimate on the removal of this ledge and then raise the back patio to a higher levelIf *** wants to remove this ledge or have a contractor remove it then I will be happy to come by at my own expense and raise the level of back patioI'm sorry for this misshap and am always ready to resolve any issues with my cus***ers

I have done over 1/the work. The prior owner put in a ledge which needs to be removed. I told him I would remove the ledge for $and continue the work. He did not seem happy with this offer. I will offer him half of his money back. I did over half the work already. I have time and labor invested in this project. *** ***

I do not agree*** came by before he did the work and said he could do it and gave me a bidHe went and got a level, checked the patio, stated it was level and would he have no trouble lifting the back of the patio so rain would drain away from houseIf there was a framed ledge problem he should have seen it then and advised me about it and that he could not fix the drain problem because of the ledge, he did not say anything about ledge problemHe came out mudjacked the patioHe finished the job and asked for paymentI looked at his work and asked about the patio slabs being unlevel, he stated he ran into a problem with the patio raising in the front as well as the back when he did the mudjacking and but had fixed the problem and so that the patio would drain down away from house and off the edge of patio at left cornerI asked him before I paid him if he was sure he had fixed problem with his adjustments, he stated " it will drain properly with the way he had adjusted the patio levelsHe stated " I have sprayed water from a water house on the patio and made sure that it is draining properly, it will drain down and off the left patio edgeIt rained after he finished the job and did not drain properly ( drained back into house )So I called him and explained that patio was not draining properly away from house, he then, told me about the framed edge on the phone after the job was doneIf he knew about problem and could only raise it so high why did he do the job, if he knew he could not fix problem? Why not tell me when he was here on the job and ran into problem? If he can not fix the problem as he originally stated in his bid he should refund money and I will contract another company to do the work properlyAs I stated earlier when I asked him before I paid him if it would drain properly the way he had mudjacked the patio" he said he had fixed problem and it would drain properly, I personally ran a water hose on patio to make sure it is draining properly and it is"
