Hi Revdex.com,I am not satisfied with the business response. The business/inspection is claiming negligence on my part which is completely false. The suggested manufacturer scheduled maintenance is at 142,500 miles. The business claims I bought it at 139,991 miles so after driving the 1,200 miles that still puts it at 141,191 miles. Furthermore, upon purchasing the vehicle which was overpriced at 17,000/- (fair market value is around 8,000/-) we were assured it was in very good condition and well maintained. We were then hurriedly made to fill in paperwork despite it being late and even suggesting coming back the next day. I have bought cars before and have never had to do that much documentation. However, we were reassured the car was well worth it.After driving off we immediately realized over the course of a couple of days that the car's fuel consumption and condition was far below the standard that we were initially led to believe and expected. We suggested trading it in for another Murano at their garage with the same exact pricing to no avail. Sure enough after about a week with no warning lights or indication the car broke down in the middle of the highway and we had it towed to pepboys and then Nick Jr Garage as it was well within warranty. I contacted the warranty company and they informed me that the claim has to be followed by the dealer which I informed Nick about. Nick Jr informed me that the car was being inspected and would follow the due process but even after attempting to follow up several times via phone and email the situation to date has still not been resolved. We are now being forced to make very expensive payments on a car that was clearly not in a good condition which does not make any sense at all.Regards,Andrew Wanjalla

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  like I said before the same week I bought the car I brought it back to nicks and mentioned that there are a lot of problems with the car including a gas smell. They mentioned they did not smell it(of course) I mentioned my kids smell it and other people do as well which is dangerous. I never took my car to another mechanic until after I bought the car to nicks for over 10 after they kept pushing me away saying come back tomorrow I would come back tomorrow they would say they are busy. This car was loud , vibrating and the windows was broke way before I took it to my mechanic. Of course they are going to say my mechanic caused these issues they don't want to take the blame. Every mechanic I went to told me I got ripped off and I was paying too much money for a car that was not good. Yes my mechanic did my tune up but like all my other cars I never had problems after he done it. As far as the caliber my mechanic did do my brakes but he noticed the cracked caliber before doing any work. Like nick said these cars are used and will have wear and tear, this is an 11 year old car so no telling how old this issues is, it is up to the selling company to inspect this cars before they sell them not just sell them and put families in danger when they put their trust in them and ask for a reliable car. Like I said in my past letters I only took my car back to nicks to get fixed is because other shops did not want to work on it because they said that the warranty company was giving them a hard way to go. Which I believe them because there are affiliated with nicks. I dropped my car off like they said I was aware of my $100 deductible. At nicks what they do is tell you to make a list of your problems and leave your car, there was times where I wanted to personally show them the problems to make things easier because they kept saying they don't see it. I mentioned the windows being stuck since the first week I bought the car, I mentioned the car being shaky, I mentioned the gas smell. I mentioned the same problems every time I bought the car to them. Finally when I left the car they told me they will call me when it is done. 3 days went by so I called them as the problems I stated should not take that long to fix. Nick said again he did not smell a odor and he did not see a crack in the caliber. I said well I don't know how you don't smell the odor I smell it every time I drive the car. He said he fixed things on the car that was not covered under the warranty( I don;t know why because I did not ask him to do that) He told me I can com pick up the car. As I came to pick it up I asked him was everything fixed and he stated yes. I had my children with me so I have witnesses, he did not show me a invoice of anything he fixed so how would I know it is fixed. He then  asked for my $100 so I gave it to him, like I mentioned before he did not give me an receipt which is very unprofessional because if I had to show proof of my payment I can't but like I said before I have witnesses. Like I said before, before I left the shop I checked everything and the windows still was broke and the car felt worst. I mentioned this to nick and he said he fixed everything and to bring my car back to get another switch for the windows, as I don't know why as a mechanic he kept thinking it's a switch I need if the window kept being broke after he so called changed the switch. I then bought my car back to nicks as the same problems was happening. I mentioned to the sales rep Joe that I wanted my car fixed properly and I was a very unhappy customer and I will not be paying another deductible for something that never was fixed in the first place. He was fast talking saying just bring the car fixed I will take care of you ( that's what they said when I first purchased the car) so I left the  car, I called the same day to mention to nick the same thing I said to Joe about me not paying another deductible he stated I had to pay, I told him I am not paying again for something you never fixed, he stated he fixed other things that was not on the warranty so I asked him what did he fixed he said he did not know, I am so sick of this place so I told them I will be there to pick up my car. They are lying when they say they have happy customer if you read their reviews they are horrible I wish I would have read them before I went there. Everyone that ask me where I purchased my car and I tell them they tell me I should have not went there as now I can see that. Something need to be done, I need to be compensated for not having good service, a car that is a lemon that they are selling for a outstanding price. I sated I don't want them fixing my car because as you can see they are taking my money and not fixing it. They need to give me another car that is more reliable or my refund or if I take my car to another shop and they look at everything that is wrong with the car and type up an invoice with the price of everything then nicks should pay for it. I will not be giving up on this I would not be wasting my time going back and forth if I did not feel like I been treated unfairly and unprofessionally.

FEBRUARY 16,2017Dear [redacted],I am going to try end address each of his concerns Individually. I stated that he put 12,000 miles at time of purchase showing that the vehicle was driving ok. At that point he experienced a problem with his oil. Instead of stopping the vehicle he continued to drive it with no oil. His negligence of not stopping the vehicle caused his engine problem. Any used vehicle at any given time can occur a mechanical problem. It’s up to the driver to stop driving it if a problem occurs.[redacted] was not rushed into purchasing a vehicle. He checked out a few vehicles we had for sale. He then chose to take the 2007 [redacted] for a test ride. After his test ride, he then chose to purchase it, He states that his vehicle was overpriced at $17,000. We sold him the vehicle for $12,725 not $17,000 (copy of purchased order attached). We never discussed gas mileage after he test drove the vehicle so I wouldn’t know what he expected. We met with [redacted] on Monday, February 13th to go over his options as to the warranty company. As I stated in my previous response that the warranty company got paid to warranty his vehicle and denied his claim not us.I explained to him that he is paying a finance company not us, And that he has to continue to pay the finance company while we try to help him with his warranty issue. If you have any questions or concerns, please call.Sincerely,Nick Jr’s Auto Sales

January 23,2017Dear [redacted],[redacted] did purchase 2002 [redacted] on 01/10/2017 with 156,595 miles. The purchase price was $7,070.00Tm actually shocked by this complaint. When [redacted] was the vehicle, he said the rear tires looked worn. We put two new tires on it...

at no extra charge. After taking possession of his vehicle he called back and said his passenger front and rear windows were not operating correctly. At no charge to him we replaced both window regulators motors, even though his warranty does not cover electrical parts which he signed and agreed to (copy attached). We explained to him the PA State Inspection process that his vehicle had to go thru a drive cycle before we could put state and emission stickers on his vehicle, It had nothing to do with his new tires. This is a PA State requirement not ours. If and when you plug the emission probe into the OBD Port and it says vehicle not ready, then the vehicle must be driven until ready. This is the process. We do not owe [redacted] state inspection stickers, We will not pay another shop to inspect vehicle. We are a state inspection station and we arc giving him the stickers free of charge because he purchased the vehicle from us. We do this in practicing good business. Unfortunately, I cannot control where [redacted] lives or his work hours. If he would like us to put stickers on his vehicle, then we have to follow state procedures. AH we ask Is that he calls us in advance and makes an appointment before coming in.If you have any questions or concerns, please call.Sincerely,Nick L.

Dear [redacted] did purchase 2006 Cadillac STS on 2/17/2017 with 120,400 miles.[redacted] did come back to have brakes put on her vehicle.  Her mechanic gave her a price to replace the brakes and she then called us.  We explained to her that the brakes were safe to drive on but they were not new.  She wanted us to replace the brake which we did at a lower price than her mechanic. If [redacted] is having a problem with her vehicle we would like to help her.  Please have her bring her vehicle in for service.  We will do everything we can to make her happy.  We do this in practicing good business.  Unfortunately, I cannot control where [redacted] lives as we know it's not around the corner from us.  All we ask is that she call s us in advance and makes an appointment before coming in.We will do our best to get it back to her asap.If you have any questions or concerns, please call.Sincerely,Nick's Auto Sales

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I had the car towed to them on 3/17/17. It cost me $213. They said that they were going to fix it then and they did not. They put cheap spark plugs in, poured stop leak in and turned off the check engine light by putting a code in. They charged me and that did not solve the problem. They guaranteed inspection! The car continued to run rough and the check engine light came right back on. I took the car straight to the mechanic and was shown the spark plugs that were put in that were covered in oil. I took the car to another mechanic who told me that the engine is virtually shot. It has oil and antifreeze pooling in the engine and the radiator is cracked. Nick Jr's cheated me out of my money and sold me a car that they never took the time to check and make sure was safe for driving. In regards to the brakes they told me that the reason they were charging me for the brakes was because I could have worn the brakes down driving from PA to NJ, which was a complete lie but at the time I had no choice because the car was not safe for me and my family. He completely left out the fact that they fixed the tierod as well. They are the equivalent to a slum lord! They should think of their own children when selling cars, how would they feel if someone did this to their child.? I'm stuck with a car that I can not drive and I still owe $9,000 on it. My next course of action is to take them to court!

Dear [redacted],[redacted] did purchase a 2002 [redacted] on 02/22/2013, [redacted] entered into a weekly payment plan with us. I sorry to hear she is having a problem with her used vehicle. This is the first time I am hearing of her having a problem with it....

She was in on May 9th to make a payment and did not mention any problems. I tried to call her a few times but her cell phone contact number is not accepting calls. She also has a 12 Months warranty on this vehicle which cover a lot of the vehicles mechanics (copy attached). All [redacted] has to do is call and make an appointment and then bring her vehicle in for service. We can take care of any valid issue she has with her vehicle. As far as a cash refund. We explained to her at the time of purchase that we have a “No Refund Policy” which she agreed to and signed at time of purchase (copies attached). We want to help [redacted] out so please have her call us immediately and schedule an appointment so we can take care of her issues.Sincerely,

MAY 23, 2014
Dear [redacted],As I stated in my first response, [redacted] is making weekly payments to us since March 1st and never mentioned once she was having an issue with her vehicle. If she had a problem with her radiator? All she had to do was tell us or call the warranty company prior to repair and the warranty would have paid for it.As far as her paying for many repairs. All she mentioned was a radiator which is covered under her warranty (copy attached & marked). You can not unplug oil & engine lights. If these lights were unplugged or tampered with it would not have gone through PA State or Emission Inspection. This is a fact.I am not going to address her slanderous comments but to say: We have been in business for many years because we take care of our customers. We have thousands of happy repeated customers. We can not control when a used vehicle is going to break down. What we can do is try to take care of the customer if a problem occurs. If the customer never mentions a problem then we would assume their vehicle is driving as it should. If [redacted] is truly having an issue with her vehicle? We would like to help her. All [redacted] has to do is call and make an appointment and then bring her vehicle in for service. We can take care of any valid issue she has with her vehicle.[redacted] mentions in her letter that she can not keep up with her payments. The is most likely her real issue not the vehicle. I have tried to reach out to her but her phone number is not accepting calls. We would still like to help [redacted] out so please have her call us immediately so we can try to resolve her issues. MAY 06, 2014
Dear [redacted]. [redacted] did purchase a 2005 [redacted] on 03/19/2013. This vehicle had 156,926 miles at time of purchase. The current mileage on her vehicle as of May 6, 2014 is 181,197 miles. This vehicle was driven 24,271 miles from time of purchase. As it...

states in [redacted]. [redacted]’s letter, she experienced a problem one-year later almost to the day.We diagnosed the problem to be the transmission. We gave her a price on a used transmission of $1,300 which included parts & labor. She only had $400 so we fixed her vehicle for the $400 and she was to bring back the remaining balance in two weeks. We never let customers take their vehicle until the bill is paid ... we did this because she was a customer and thought we were helping her outIn reference to the repair work done. We do not build the parts we install but we do stand behind our repairs. Sometimes there are issues beyond our control. We also are not a towing company. Most customers have [redacted] or some other towing service in case of a problem on the road. Any vehicle can break down. We asked [redacted], [redacted] to have her vehicle towed to our shop. She had it towed to her house. We can not control if someone is inconvenienced. We had the vehicle towed to our shop at our expense & fixed it at no additional charge to her. We also gave [redacted] a vehicle to drive while we repaired her vehicle. Hopefully [redacted]. [redacted] does not experience any other problems with her vehicle. We can not predict when a used vehicle will breakdown or not act properly. Especially a vehicle with 181,197 miles on it. All [redacted]. [redacted] has to do is bring her vehicle in for service if she has any other problems.[redacted]. [redacted] came in today (05/06/14) to pick up her vehicle. We had her drive it with our mechanic in the car to make sure she had no other issues or concerns. In reference to the bill ... [redacted]. [redacted] paid us $700 three-weeks later with a check and we still trusted her $200. (we did this trying to do good business). Her check of $700 bounced so she still had a $900 balance. When she came in today she only had $500 toward her $900 balance which was suppose to be paid in full. We trusted her again. She said she was going to pay us the remaining balance in two installments ... $200 on May 13,2014 & $200 on June 2,2014.Sincerely,Nick Jr’s Auto Sales

I am rejecting this response because: Nicks Autos was very disrespectful & Rude on the phone whenever l did call upset about the poor repair job.Yes, Nick gave me a loner after the truck broke down for the second time and l refused to tow my truck to his shop because l paid $175 to tow if home from of the interstate [redacted] and told him l couldn't afford the tow to his shop for and extra $100. He towed the truck a week later.Yes l stopped the check for$700 because l picked the truck up on Friday evening and it broke down on Saturday afternoon. I constantly reminded Nick that I'm a Home Health Aide & l work from my vehicle, l lost 8 days of pay due to poor repairs, l was written up & almost lost my job due to Nick taking no effort on trying to complete the repairs in a timely manner.  I hadTo save my job by paying for rides & renting cars..Nick constantly ignore that fact he's wrong for horrible customer service, poor repair services & a lack to complete the repairs in a timely manner all he wants to argue with me about is how l didn't want to pay him his money to his wack job of repairs that he provide me..I'm still refusing to pay him anything for this nightmare he has put me through for the past several weeks. I gave him $900 and l feel as though we are even and l will never return to his shop again... This was the worst experience l ever had with an mechanic in my life l was so stressed out until l became sick.

Dear [redacted],As I stated in my first response [redacted] purchased a 2005 Chevy Blazer on 03/19/2013. This vehicle had 156,926 miles at time of purchase. The current mileage on her vehicle as of May 6,2014 is 181,197 miles. This vehicle was driven 24,271 miles from time of purchase. We sold [redacted] a great running used car that broke down 1 year later, which can not be predicted. The tone of this letter is the same tone we dealt with on the phone. I apologize if when she or her son called she got the same response tone back. We been in business for many years and try our best to help our customers out. Unfortunately you can not please every one.In reference to the bill as I stated in my first response, we do not trust repair bills. No repair would let a customer take their vehicle with out paying their bill first We did this trying to do good business and help her out. Any repair job can have an unforeseen problem. We stood behind our repair work and fixed her vehicle. We expect her to pay the remaining balance of $436.00 owed to us as she promised. If balance is not paid there will be no warranty on the repair work we performed.Sincerely,Nick Jr's Auto Sales

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Nick called me 5/13/14 upset that l contacted Revdex.com about his poor customer service. Nick wants to keep complaining to me that his BUSINESS PARTNER rebuild the transmission He only INSTALLED the transmission therefore He's not RESPONSIBLE for the BRAKE DOWN of my truck (2x)..I'm trying to get Nick to understand that l have Nothing To Do With His BUSINESS PARTNER l gave my truck to him for the repairs and maybe l would have been less upset if it didn't take him OVER A MONTH to repair my truck. When I told Nick his brothers was rude & they lack customer service skills on the phone Nick stated that they didn't have to take my cramp..He wanted me to be grateful for the fact that he towed my truck that broke down and gave me this dirty, filthy, nasty, damaged car as loner..Nick don't care that l almost lost my job, got written up, lost several days of pay and spent over $700 in rental fees to save my job BUT I SHOULD PAY HIM..Nick should get his money from his BUSINESS PARTNER that sold him those bad transmission and return EVERY DOLLAR I gave him but Nick wants to threaten me about not honoring my WARRANTY for the Nightmare he put me through...l asked Nick on several occasions for a discount and keeps refusing stating he's losing money but WHAT about the money I LOST NICK SEEMS NOT TO CARE ABOUT ME AS A CUSTOMER ..I could have took him to court & got more than a discount so they way l feel is Nick or his BUSINESS PARTNER should be paying me $436 for
What l been through Nick has all copies of my rental/ tow fees and to this day he still won't settle for what l gave him and let this issue go.

JUNE 03,2014
Dear [redacted],[redacted] asked me to help him out and find a vehicle for his daughter at the auction because he was not looking to spend a lot of money, which I did. I told him the vehicles are below retail at the auctions so expect to put a little money...

into any vehicle he gets. He is cutting out the middle man. He said he expects that on any used vehicle anyway,That said, he first had me looking for a [redacted]. After searching and test driving a few I called him and told him what I found. He said never mind because he wanted a [redacted] now so she could drive on the beach. After searching and test driving a few [redacted]’s he said never mind to that vehicle. He then informed me that he wanted a [redacted]. So trying to help him out I looked for a [redacted], I called him to describe the [redacted]’s I found but he didn’t like the colors. I came across a nice running 2001 [redacted] with 141,000 miles which I described and sent him pictures of. He said “WOW” ... he liked it and asked me to buy it for him which I did per his request. The NADA Retail value on the 2001 [redacted] he bought is $6,725. He paid $2,400 under retail value, which makes his used vehicle a great buy. (NADA copy enclose)I brought the vehicle back to my shop and serviced it for him ... major tune-ups oil change, transmission fluid change. I charged him $300 which barely covered the parts let alone my time. I did this trying to help him out. After looking the vehicle over and test driving it he said he loved it & Thanks. He gave my son some spa products to show his gratitude. He then told me he needed the title immediately which usually takes about a week. Trying to go above and beyond to help him out, I had my worker drive to [redacted] (90 miles away) to expedite the title process because he did not want to wait for the mail. After doing all this ... he is complaining about our selling practice. All I did was help him out. I even ran [redacted] for him on vehicles he found on his own which were being sold privately. These [redacted] are not free and we did not charge him.As far as the repairs he mentioned. This vehicle is 13 years old with over 141,000 miles. It is going to have natural worn parts like gaskets, struts/shocks, rubber tires, etc. The prices mentioned in this letter to maintain his vehicle are extremely high. I told him I could give him a much better price for the work if he wants it done.Another option I told him would be: I could bring the vehicle back to the auction for-him but he would lose money. There are transportation, rep and auction fees.

Review: They sold me a car saying it was in great condition and that was a lie the car is unsafe to drive and I still have to pay for the bsDesired Settlement: I want my money back for this bs piece of st car

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response for a number of reasons. One being that I made a complaint on April 26th when I came to make a payment. Whether or not the company took heed to it was another story. The car was in bad condition from day one, when I pulled off the lot and entered onto the express the car cut off (which was extremely dangerous might I add). Also they sold me the worst warranty possible. At the time I hadn't have had the car for two months and had to pay for a new radiator out of pocket. They failed to tell me about pieces missing from the car, unplugged the engine light and also the oil light so I wouldn't know that there were issues with the vehicle. My main problem with this vehicle is I can't even keep up with payments because of this piece of crap always needs repairing. I have hired a lawyer and I plan on taking further action. I should have read reviews on this company first because I now see that they have been doing unsatisfactory business for a long time and are known as scammers. They have placards in the office from the Revdex.com which I can only think are fake because this is a horrible business.

The current mileage on her vehicle as of May 6, 2014 is 181,197 miles. This vehicle was driven 24,271 miles from time of purchase. As it states in [redacted].

Review: [redacted]

MAY 13, 2014Dear [redacted],As I stated in my first response [redacted]. [redacted] purchased a 2005 Chevy Blazer on 03/19/2013. This vehicle had 156,926 miles at time of purchase. The current mileage on her vehicle as of May 6,2014 is 181,197 miles. This vehicle was driven 24,271 miles from time of purchase. We sold [redacted], [redacted] a great running used car that broke down 1 year later, which can not be predicted.

When I told Nick his brothers was rude & they lack customer service skills on the phone Nick stated that they didn't have to take my cramp..He wanted me to be grateful for the fact that he towed my truck that broke down and gave me this dirty, filthy, nasty, damaged car as loner..Nick don't care that l almost lost my job, got written up, lost several days of pay and spent over $700 in rental fees to save my job BUT I SHOULD PAY HIM..Nick should get his money from his BUSINESS PARTNER that sold him those bad transmission and return EVERY DOLLAR I gave him but Nick wants to threaten me about not honoring my WARRANTY for the Nightmare he put me through...l asked Nick on several occasions for a discount and keeps refusing stating he's losing money but WHAT about the money I LOST NICK SEEMS NOT TO CARE ABOUT ME AS A CUSTOMER ..I could have took him to court & got more than a discount so they way l feel is Nick or his BUSINESS PARTNER should be paying me $436 forWhat l been through Nick has all copies of my rental/ tow fees and to this day he still won't settle for what l gave him and let this issue go.

Review: I was sold a car by Nick Jr's Auto Sales, a 2001 [redacted] vin# [redacted] . He and his father, co- owner ,Nick [redacted] Sr, both said to my Father and mother as witnesses ,that the car was, perfect mechanically, and needed no work. Since Nick [redacted] Sr was a trusted customer of my fathers business and they have been in business for over 30 years as a auto mechanics and owner of 2 used car lots in south Philadelphia. I bought the car and paid cash on tuesday 4/22/2014.of $4235 of which I have a written receipt #[redacted] from Nick [redacted] JR Auto Sales, who physically delivered the car to [redacted] Nj [redacted].I don't know whether this makes any difference, but even though Nick Jr's Auto Sales is located in Pennsylvania he transported it to New Jersey where the transaction occurred and money changed hands.

I did not take the car to a mechanic before paying Nick JR's Auto Sales for this car out of trust due to the relationship.I JUST MOVED BACK TO NEW JERSEY FROM HAWAII AFTER 4 YAERS AND HAD TO GET A NEW JERSEY DRIVERS LICENSE IN ORDER TO GET INSURANCE ON THE CAR AND BEFORE I REGISTERED THE CAR IN NEW JERSEY. and it still is not registered!.I thought it would be a good idea, while the car wasn't being used, to have it inspected by a highly qualified mechanic who services all of my fathers company trucks and cars On Saturday 4/26/2014 AT [redacted] NJ [redacted]. Their qualifications are; open 24/7 for commercial trucks like[redacted],Foreign and domestic cars,Builds top performance race cars that compete through out the USA.,rebuilds transmission and engines.Truly Experts!

My father asked if they would do me a favor and inspect the car that day Saturday 4/26/ 2014 since I needed a car as soon as possible for transportation ..[redacted]'s called me that day and said" DON'T KEEP THIS CAR",1-OIL IS LEAKING FROM THE VALVE COVERS ,COST $490 2-THE 2 FRONT ELECTRONIC STRUTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED COST $1500 3-THREE TIRES HAVE BUBBLES IN THE SIDE WALLS DUE TO HIGH IMPACT,LIKE HITTING POT HOLES ,AND WHERE HIGHLY DANGEROUS AND COULD BLOW OUT WHILE DRIVING. 4- THE ELECTRONIC DASHBOARD HAD HASY SPOTS SHOWING CONCERNS AND SIGNS OF POSSIBLE REPLACEMENT $ 549. FOR A TOTAL OF $2959 IN REPAIRS WHICH IS ALMOST WHAT I PAID FOR THE CAR!!!

BUT EVEN WORSE [redacted] SAID THEY SUSPECT THAT THE CAR MAY HAS HAD WATER DAMAGE!

THIS WAS A ULTIMATE VIOLATION AND BREACH OF TRUST AND CONSUMER FRAUD. WHEN I ASKED OR MY MONEY BACK ,NICK [redacted] SR SAID" I SHOULD SELL THE CAR",AND ON THURSDAY 5/8/1012 SAID THAT HE WOULD REFUND ALL BUT $1000 OR HE WOULD TAKE THE CAR BACK TO THE AUCTION AND WHATEVER HE GOT HE WOUD PAY ME BACK. HE CLAIMS HE PUT MONEY INTO THIS CAR FOR A TUNE UP AND DEATAILED THE CAR WHICH COST HIM MONEY.

1-These are standard procedure and costs when selling a used car for any used car dealer,SO HE DIDN'T DO THIS FOR ME.IT NEEDED TO BE DONE TO SELL THE CAR!

2-If the car was bought a t a great deal,as they claim,(which is another lie! He told me "because of our relationship he did't want to add on any finders fee, which I offered, so I just went on [redacted] Blue Book and wholesale value (in good condition) is $2469 and sold by a private party is $3300 which I have downloaded and have in writing.I paid $$3875. I was suppose to buy this at his wholesale price of $2469 as per Nick [redacted].

3- WHY DOES HE NOT WANT TO SELL TIHS CAR ON ONE OF HIS 2 USED CAR LOTS WHICH HE ORIGINALLY BOUGHT IT FOR. SINCE IT'S GREAT MECHANICALLY AND HE GOT IT AT A GREAT DEAL. ISN'T THIS HYPOCRITICAL?I'M NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF SELLING USED CARS AS HE SUGGESTED I SHOULD DO! THATS HIS PROFESSION FOR OVER 30 YEARS.

I THINK THAT THEY TOTALLY MIS-DIAGNOSED THE CAR AND ARE NOW AFFRAID OF SELLING IT TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER AND WANT ME TO PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKE OR DELIBERATELY TRIED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A NIEVE FEMALE.

Unfortunately Nick [redacted] is a used car salesman who bends the truth where is becomes a lie and is making up false allegations to try and twist things around to make it look like I'm the reason for the problem.

I told my father I wanted a 4 cylinder car a honda civic ,toyota carolla or [redacted]. My father has bought all his cars through dealers at the auctions for over 40 years and never buys new cars because of how fast cars depreciate in value.

Since Nick [redacted] Sr and Junior go the the auction every week he asked them to buy one of the specific models mentioned.Nick [redacted] called my father from the [redacted] auction on 4/9/2014,after he bought the car for himself, and said he couldn't find any of the cars I wanted at a good price but he bough a 2001 [redacted] for his company along with some other cars and said maybe your daughter would like this car. LET THIS BE UNDERSTOOD ,HE BOUGHT THIS CAR FOR HIMSELF BEFORE CALLING MY FATHER , NOT FOR ME!!

That night I went on line and looked at reviews that said the because it was a 6 cylinder it was costly on gas and if it needed repairs it was costly. My father told Furnari that I wasn't interested in the [redacted] and to continue to look for at the [redacted] Pa Auction on Friday, the next day for the three 4 cylinder models

requested. The [redacted]'s insisted how great this car was mechanically and how safe it was in accidents .Because my father and mothers first concern is for my safety, they asked if I would consider buying this car since it was perfect mechanically and it wouldn't cost me any immediate repairs.According to the [redacted]'s ,[redacted] HOLD UP OVER TIME

As a matter of courtesy I offered to pay:1- for 3 car faxes my father requested when was shopping on Graigs List @ 20 each $60

2- pay for half of the $60 cat for the Pa title $30

3- for a laborer who had to ride over to NJ with Nick Jr to deliver the car and to pick up the car

at $ 50 each time $ 100

TOTAL DEDICTION $190 FROM PRICE PAID $4235. REFUND EXSPECTED $4045 !!!

COST WAS $3875 + $300 TO TUNE UP AND DETAIL(WHICH I SHOULD'T HAVE TO PAY,NECESSARY TO SELL THE CAR) P PLUS $60 FOR A PA. TITLE =TOTAL COST OF $4235

COULD HELP ME A SEE THAT JUSTICE IS DONE!!!!!

SINCERELY YOURS, [redacted] NJ [redacted] PH CELL [redacted]Desired Settlement: Cash refund of $4025

Response:

JUNE 03,2014Dear [redacted],[redacted] asked me to help him out and find a vehicle for his daughter at the auction because he was not looking to spend a lot of money, which I did. I told him the vehicles are below retail at the auctions so expect to put a little money into any vehicle he gets.

Review: I purchased a car for my son to be his first which was parked at [redacted]'s auction in [redacted] nj([redacted], NJ [redacted]Phone: ###-###-####).The car was sold to me by Nich [redacted] Junior in [redacted] nj. The next morning the car had multiple leaks under the engine in my drive. It was taken to the mechanic where it has been since. 2000 to get it running safely and 5000 to get it running reliably with multiple large engine issues. The car was advertised as "running like new". It was described to have been purchased for Nick jr ([redacted])3 fiance who subsequently had a co car. So he stated his pregnant girlfriend was going to drive this vehicle. I attempted to contact nick jr and Nick sr the owner of Nick's auto sales returned my call ([redacted]). Nick senior began to speak over me on the phone as I had estimates performed on the vehicle. He then threatened my family stating he knows where I lived. I requested he use text as I did not want to listen to his fowl language and threats. He has not contacted me since stating that I was pathetic via text.Desired Settlement: I am seeking a complete refund of 4300 dollars the cost of the vehicle and taxes. Nick also put 2500 on the receipt when the vehicle cost 4000 dollars. They were given 4000. I feel threatened by this family as they live in my neighborhood and are familiar with similar friends. Please help me resolve this mess. **. [redacted] before he became belligerent and shut down offered to do some repairs however I do not trust him and would prefer my mechanic to make the repairs with **. [redacted] paying.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

12/18/13

ID #

[redacted] (2000 Jeep Cheroke)

Dear

[redacted]/Revdex.com,

In

response to Mr. Nich [redacted] Jr.’s response to the purchase of the Jeep Cheroke

I would like to start by clarifying that there are two Nich [redacted]’s- one

junior and one senior. I am not sure as

to which calls themselves junior or senior as there may be more. The

Junior who sold the car to us cell is

###-###-#### and senior’s cell is

###-###-####. I spoke to a person

representing himself as Nich senior as Nich jr forwarded my calls to Sr. Nich Sr is not the actual sales person of the

vehicle on the cell phone. Nich Sr began

cursing and threatening. I requested

texting of him for a record of the conversation but he declined and that is

when the communication ceased. My letter

to Nick Sr and Revdex.com is reattached here.

The letter was sent to Nich Sr. as he is the person who was speaking to

me on the phone and handling this situation.

To clarify, as Nich’s auto is making this

confusing the Jeep was being sold at [redacted]’s Auction in [redacted] NJ in their

parking lot that faces route [redacted]. This is not a car dealership or such. The jeep was represented as being an

individual selling it in NJ. It was

advertised as “Extra clean in and out”, “RUNS LIKE NEW” and “New tires”. Please see attached picture of the paint on

the windshield at the time of sale which was a deciding factor in purchasing

the vehicle. Nich Jr also assured us

that this vehicle was clean as described on the windshield as well as he had

purchased the vehicle himself for his pregnant girlfriend to use but she

subsequently obtained a co car.

Nich Jr also represented himself

as a mechanic who knew about cars and engines.

In Nich Jr’ s letter he is admitting that the vehicle was not like new and

clean which was stated on the windshield (refer to the picture). The items he reports he reviewed with my son

and I were not discussed with me and my wife who were the purchaser of the

vehicle and of age. My son was 16 now 17

and he reports to me that these items were not discussed with him either and

that Nich Jr reported it was in excellent shape with clean fluids and new tires as the car was purchased for his

pregnant girlfriend. He reported maintaining the vehicle and keeping the fluids

clean etc for her use. We did not know

about the Nick auto in south philly during purchase and had we known that this

was a car dealership we would have googled the name and obtained the poor

ratings from the internet. This was a

car being driven by a pregnant woman whose boyfriend was a mechanic. We would also not have driven to south philly

to purchase the vehicle as proximity was essential to our purchase as far as

warranty.

Nich

Jr was contacted by me when the local mechanic had evaluated the vehicle and

Nich JR must have forwarded the message to the Nich Sr at the auto dealership

in south philly as Nich Sr began calling me.

The letter was sent to Nich Sr as he was the one discussing the solution

to this situation.

The

car was purchased in NJ for several reasons the first of which was convenience,

then the fact that it was advertised as “RUNS LIKE NEW”, “Clean inside and

out”, “New Tires” and the fact that it was purchased for a pregnant girlfriend

by a mechanic. Also Nich Jr assured us

that everything was “RUNNING LIKE NEW” and that it is a great first car for my

son as he had purchased it for his pregnant girlfriend who subsequently had a

co car given to her.

When

we saw the oil stains from the head gasket that was blown and stains from the

radiator in our driveway we took it to a mechanic who charged for the

evaluation of the vehicle. He reported

that there was a locked front break due to the rotor being bad which had to be

repaired as it was dangerous. The two back tires were worn to capacity and

dangerous to drive (Look at picture of car with advertisement). He reported in

his letter to you the Revdex.com that all of the fluids were not clean as if in a new car

and that the jeep was not running like new with two bad tires, shocks,

vibrating shaft, leaking radiator and oil etc. per the list. This was clearly a scam and a contradiction

in what we had been told. I immediately

requested a refund and Nich Jr forwarded my phone to Nich Sr at the south

philly location.

Nich

Sr began to speak to me about repairs which he would perform at his location in

south philly. He offered to charge me

for these repairs as per the letter by Nich Jr sent to the Revdex.com. The repairs the mechanic in jersey reported

totaled over 5000 to have the car as advertised “Running like new”. I asked for

the vehicle to be returned as Nich Sr began cursing and threatening on the

phone. If the business was so confident in the vehicle they could clearly

sell it again but he did not wish to make this situation right. After conversations with Nich Sr it was clear

he was not going to take the vehicle back.

If you read the reviews on this businesses repairs they are poor and it

is self-explanatory of why I would not want to go there in addition to the

threats and manner of his speech. Also

the car was purchased in NJ near my home for the fact that I don’t have time to

take to philly.

The

best solution for me would be ideally to have the vehicle returned for 4000 plus taxes, plus 85 (estimate), plus

400 (rotors) as it was misadvertised and misrepresented by the seller Nich

jr. Having heard Nich Sr style of

communication and threats, reading reviews of the business practices at that

location available on google, yelp etc and due to the location and

misrepresentation of the sale location I am requesting repairs be performed at

the mechanic who did the inspection of the vehicle and that Nick auto sales pay

for these services as they are not what a car running like new presents with

and the vehicle is not as Nich Jr stated during sale. I also do not feel safe driving to PA in the

vehicle due to the condition of the vehicle (two bad tires, leaking head

gasket, cracked radiator, vibrating shaft, newly repaired locked brakes) as

well as the threats that were made. The

items to be repaired and rewarranteed are listed on the attached sheet along

with the first letter.
