See previous statementI was kicked out before I could complete the below information Jane Frost

I was contacted by this customer in mid-summer with questions regarding potential tree problemsI evaluated the situation and explained that she had a hazardous tree, as she had surmised, and that the tree should be removedWhen on site doing the tree work, the customer asked if my crew could
do some additional pruning at a later date, so I scheduled and completed that work as well, all to her satisfactionWhile there was the second time, the customer noted that she had some trouble areas in the front portion of her lawn, including a sparse portion to the right of the driveway, as well as an issue with water puddlingShe also mentioned that she had several people try to remedy the lawn issues to no availThe scope of the project she was looking to begin included the front lawn only and the customer said she would deal with the rear lawn at another timeI told her that we generally do tree and shrub care, but if she couldn’t find anyone else to help her with her lawn, we would try to repair itI brought in several yards of screened loam from *** *** *** *** in *** MAThe material was used to fill the voids and added seed as well as starter fertilizerBoth before and after the installation I made the customer aware that needs regular maintenance to thrivePrior to and after the work I explained that the lawn would need irrigation and showed her how to manage this watering task and temporary irrigation, which I installedI reiterated that she would need a lawn maintenance company to manage the lawn in the following season if she felt that she could not adequately handle the upkeep herselfThe customer asked if there were any other services my company could provide to enhance the lawn repair I’d done in order to take a more proactive approachI sent her *** *** *** proposal in January for both crabgrass treatment and grub control to help protect the lawnThe customer did not respond to the proposalI did not hear from the customer until mid-April, at which point she called with concerns about a different area of her yardI surveyed the work she wanted done in the rear of the yard and explained to her that we did not have the time or tools to take on a project that size until later in the season since we were in the midst of a busy time in our tree and plant health care schedule and that I would need to rent some equipment to complete the jobI quoted her a price of $for the work and told her I would let her know when I could schedule itThe customer said that this wouldn’t be a problem and that she would call me when she returned from being away for a couple of weeks because she wanted to be on site when the work was doneSeveral weeks passed (mid-May) and the customer called againI told her that I would try to get to her by the next week but could not promiseAt this point I started receiving electronic messages from the customer’s husband, whom I had never met and who had not been a part of discussions up to this pointAt first he complimented my past work and said he would like my company to continue providing our services for him and his wifeBefore I had an opportunity to respond to his message, his tone and demeanor had changed from business-like to demanding and threateningHe insisted that I had a contract to honor, although there never was either a written or verbal contract agreed toAt this juncture I did not feel comfortable working for people who made remarks threatening to my business and I felt that it was best for both parties to sever tiesIn regard to the customers comment about advertising in the *** *** bulletin, that is completely accurateNot only have I provided services for *** *** itself, and have for many years, but I also provide service for many parishionersFor nearly years I’ve worked for and in the Town of *** MA and hold a special regard for the town and its residentsThe Town of *** and its residents have been an instrumental and invaluable part of beginning and growing my business and reputation around the state of Massachusetts Certified ArboristIn all my time in business, this is the first complaint I have receivedI was unsettled by these accusation since I pride myself on providing both professional and ethical service to my customers

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments below.
I stand by the facts as set out in my complaint The response by *** ***/d.b.aNick's Tree Service is self serving and does not reflect the truth of the matter As to his comments regarding my husband, these are also self serving and defensive It was Mr*** who launched an ad hominem attack against my husband in an email exchange which, as with the others, we have kept And if Mr*** doesn't know how to professionally repair lawns, as he suggests, he shouldn't have taken the job and our money. Regards,
*** ***
