Review: The company installed Armstrong hardwood flooring in June 2010. Almost immediately cupping and checking of the boards was noticed. The company came out and replaced several boards. Additional cupping , checking and gapping of boards occurred, the company was notified and was told by [redacted]. that he would look at floors " in the fall "when "humidity" was lower but larger width boards "have more issues". October 2012, after several calls - received call from [redacted]., stated he would come out to see floor- spoke about keeping humidity in home constant. January 8, 2013 came out to look at floor took several pictures to file claim with Armstrong and stated "replace floor". March 7, 2013 , received call from [redacted]. stated that Armstrong sited "moisture" issues and would e-mail a copy of their report. This was never received. Stated that we wanted Armstrong to come inspect the floor. In early April, we contacted Armstrong customer service and pictures were sent to them. In late April 2013 ,several areas were there were large gaps between the boards were replaced in the family room, dining room, and master bedroom. On 5/8/2013, [redacted] and an Armstrong representative examined the floor. A report was then issued by Armstrong and then e-mailed to us on 5/21/2013 by [redacted]. The report stated not a warranty claim due to moisture and sited installation problems. A call was first placed to him on5/28/2013 regarding the findings. After multiple calls, a return call was received 7/28/2013. The findings of the report were discussed along with the fact that some repairs were unfinished. assured that the missing trim would be ordered.Tto date have not heard anything further from the company.Desired Settlement: replacement of floor due to "fixing the worst" boards would entail replacing most of the floor and the fact that repairs to date have been of poor quality . (ie face nailing in exposed areas)
