I purchased a *** Transporter Chair (Product code ***) from Nickes Medical Supply, LLC *** shop on April 18,2019. Sometime in early November I informed their rep at the shop that the foam cushion around the pop-up handle had split and she called to order a new one. Later I was informed that a replacement for the foam was not possible and a complete handle would have to be ordered. I've checked 4-5 times since then and it's still not available. It's been over 3 months and nothing has been resolved. I called the main office in *** and a lady there said she would look into the problem, but that was over a month ago and no response.

Desired Outcome

Repair Either give me the handle and I'll install it myself or take back the *** walker and refund my $***.

I received a call from the *** rep on 2/28/20 thanking me for reporting the problem to the Revdex.com. She indicated that it caused the main company (in ***?) to send the required handle that I requested. It is supposedly on the way.

I notice that on 3/3/20 the case was resolved with letter. What letter? Who got the letter and what did it say?

I wish you had not closed this complaint. I still have not received my repair part that I requested. Today, 3/18/20 I stopped by the store at the *** and asked the lady there if my handle had come in. It has not. It has now been over 3 going on 4 months since I requested the handle. I'm not on social media, but I guess it's time for me to get a *** a/o *** account and start spreading the word what a poor company this is to buy from.

I am writing in response to a complaint filed by Mr ***. I got this letter Yesterday via email from the business manager.
I also called Ms *** yesterday and left messages.

I will like to personally apologize to Mr *** for the inconvenience of making numerous calls/visits to get his equipment replaced.

I called Mr *** on March 31,2020 but could not talk to him because he is typically not available until afternoon. I spoke to someone in the afternoon when I called back and advised her that his equipment has been in the office ready for pickup at his convenience. She was also advised to keep the old equipment. This was done without knowing that he went to Revdex.com.

We strive to do the best by all of our customers and regret that Mr *** had issues with his equipment.

I regret this miscommunication and want him to know that our Clients come first.

I am also willing to refund the money he paid.

I spoke with Mrs *** today and they will go pick up at their convenience.

I don't know who wrote the response above, but it is not quite accurate. On 3/30/20 I sent an email to the *** manager (Julie ***) including an attached copy of this complaint and stated that do to the poor customer service by this company, I do not believe that the *** should allow it to remain as a concessionaires. The very next day I received the phone call from who I thought was the local *** manager. She said she had the walker and that she wanted me to call Ms. and let her know that she had called me. Obviously, Ms *** had a talk with someone at ***. A day or two later, I emailed Ms. and informed her of the call and she replied that she had the walker in her office and I could pick it up. On 4/4/20 I went to the *** and asked for the walker. Turns out that it is not the same model that I have and I refused it. The walker as shown to me is not even close to the one I have. I informed Ms *** by email and enclosed a photo of the walker that I have. She said she would contact the *** rep today. So that's the way it stands now.

I have sent a refund check to Mr *** today.

I did not receive an email or call from the exchange manager or Mr *** regarding the wrong rollator. Saw it now in his complaint. His refund check is on it's way . I did not speak to Mr *** at anytime. Only spoke to his wife.

We regret we did not have a good experience in trying to meet Mr *** dme needs but we certainly wish him the best.

As always, we are proud of our efforts in serving our dme clients.

I received a check for the full price of the Rolator. My only comment is that this whole business could have been taken care of back in Nov. by sending me the handle requested.
