The company will not provide me with invoices and equipment documentation.I hired the contractor [redacted] for renovating my house. The work has been finished in November. For over 2 months I am requesting invoices and documentation for the high efficiency gas equipment that Mr. [redacted] installed at my property, but for a reason I cannot understand he will not provide me with it. I need these papers for a rebate application and for my tax credit. Since I cannot obtain the necessary paperwork, I am loosing the ability to receive the rebates - which means I am loosing [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like to receive all paperwork from the contractor. In case if I fail to submit rebate application due to delays on contractor`s side, I would like to receive a reimbursement from contractor.Business Response Hi [redacted],This Is [redacted], So as you have seen in the emails we have been talking to Mr. [redacted] and we have sent out the papers that he has requested from us. He said that he has contacted the Revdex.com and told he has no more complaints. We did resolve the issue between Mr. [redacted] and our Company. He has requested An Invoice in order to be able to get his rebate. We have sent him the invoice and he informed us about the rebate process. He said that the rebate was being processed at the rebate center.Consumer Response Hello,I see that you received contractor`s response and everything is correct - the rebate was submitted and entered in [redacted] Rebate Center`s system, but I still don`t have any status on it. It means, I still don`t know if they will process it.Please see their representative`s reply below.Thank you.[redacted]

Driveway continues to pit badly and stairs are cracking and chipping apart. In September of 2010 Nick's Affordable Home Improvement installed a concrete driveway at our residence in Chicopee. In addition to the driveway they added on additional steps to the outside stair case, replaced two exterior doors and storm doors, replaced two basement windows, replaced a small section of the siding on the house and applied a decorative finish to the foundation. Days after the completion of the job we had an issue with the exterior stair case. They came back and offered to cover it with a thin layer of some kind of concrete mixture. We were not crazy with the final finish of the stairs but did accept it. Here is where we are now. The driveway is pitting and is pitting badly. It appears the salt that is picked up from the roads in the winter drops off the car and onto the driveway and is destroying the concrete. We have never applied any ice melt or salt to the driveway our selves. We can not seem to stop the deterioration of the driveway. We have been told by another company that this is probably because the PSI level of the cement used in this project was to low, an inferior product. We spent over $8000 on this work and now the driveway is looking very bad and is getting worse with every passing year. Desired SettlementEither replace the driveway with the proper quality product or refund the money so that we can arrange the replacement.Business' Initial Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]Dear [redacted],Thank you for your feedback regarding the issue with the concrete driveway. I have been in business for 10 years and have provided many clients with concrete driveways and have never had any issues until now. I take every client as a family member and try to satisfy them as much as possible. In your particular situation this work was done three years ago. This is the first time that we hear about any issues with your driveway. On this particular job there was no warranty offered. When we purchased the material we did order the correct mix of concrete used for driveways which is 4000 mix. Once we did the installation of this driveway we did explain to you that a month after the driveway has been installed we would need to come back to apply an oil based sealer to the driveway to protect it from the weather elements. You at the time stated to me that you would be able to do it yourself at no cost. The cost of the concrete alone for this job was close too $3,000. This price does not include any of the labor or other work scope completed. Since you did not contact us previously regarding this issue and it has been three years since the completion of the job there really is not much I can do at this time. At this point I am not completely sure when this issue began to deteriorate. With this being said I can not refund your money for the work or repair at no cost. I would be more than willing to schedule an appointment to look at the driveway for you and give you a quote for the repairs needed. Thank You,[redacted]Consumer's Final Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)They never did offer to come back and seal the driveway but they did explain to me that the drive needs to be sealed and that I should wait a month before doing it. I never said that I would do it for free. Very disappointed and there will not be any references from me.

Purchased Sliding Window from contractor, Window is defective, Film between glass is discolored and opaque and getting worse.Purchased Slider in Nov 2009, Other occupants in same Condo complex purchased same slider, they do not have problem. Contacted contractor many times, they came over and looked at to resolve. Since then they have not called me, nor do they return messages. They have never come back.Desired SettlementWarranty obviously defective product installedBusiness Response We are contacting [redacted] which we have bought the sliding doors from. Its obviously the manufacturers fault because all the other windows are good and one is defective. We will try to get the supplier to come over to the client property to view the defect and get them to supply Mr.[redacted] with a new sliding door with no defects.Thankyou, Nick's Home ImprovementConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Sounds like what they said to me months ago, I want a new slider installed by Aug 1, 2014. This should give them plenty of time to rectify. If they can not install by then, they should refund money.
