I took my suv truck to get repaired nicks garage had my truck for FOUR months. I called him repeatedly during the four months in the progress of my truck only to led on . So I go to to the shop one I find that there parking tickets accumulated from them Parkin my truck illegally but my truck has been towed without my knowledge. I get a letter from the tow yard that says I owe money and when I called nicks garage the owner told me my truck was at his lot come pick it up all lies

has had our truck for over 8 months. said one thing was wrong and then later said it was the starter. lost our keys put a part backwards had to return it for work we had to buy the part our self. he left our keys in the truck unlocked in the ignition. saw other cars there with hood open and windows rolled down for days. some one was sleeping in another car with broken windows. never calls back and very rude customer service from everyone there. lady in front gives bs and has a smart mouth. needless to say we had to tow our truck out and had it repaired some where else. he needs to be shut down.

Visited Nick's Garage seeking repairs/replacement for trailer components (brakes, wiring, tow hitch) and the experience was absolutely ATROCIOUS. Nick, the owner/operator, is an incompetent, disrespectful con artist whose been involved with the legal system (check wicourts.gov/casesearch) enough to know how to take your money while keeping things in the realm of a civil lawsuit/complaint and not provoke criminal charges. He did not complete the work requested, claimed the job was more complex/time consuming than it was, and continuously added costs to the repair, to the point where he would not let us remove our trailer from his garage driveway without paying him an additional $60 for equipment material he claimed he purchased to do work on our vehicle/trailer (that’s his expense, not mine, and not what was agreed). I continuously asked him for estimates on the work, he claimed he would let me know and it wasn't until it was time for me to pay that he told me it was a RIDICULOUS amount for what he had done ($405 to rewire breakaway switch and remove ball from tow hitch). Then he tried to negotiate with me and said he'd do the remainder of the work for the price he was charging me (I gave him $260, he was to replace brakes for remaining $145). As the other dispute states, Nick’s girlfriend/secretary writes up the receipts after paying cash because their “credit card machine is not working” (so that you cannot dispute with your credit card company and recover funds.) They write the receipts to their benefit and are careful to word it to protect themselves instead of what is agreed upon. I agreed to come back in 30 days and tried calling him to schedule appt but he did not answer until past the 30 days. I purchased the brakes and brought them to him, he did not want to do work until I gave him the $145, and he said he'd get it done same evening. He did not. We went back the next day and waited in the evening for HOURS but the trailer was exactly the same as the day before and he REFUSED to work on it saying he’d call us when it was done. I even asked him to just put it back together (writing it off as a loss) so that we could take it somewhere else. He was acting in a very disrespectful and nasty manner (yelling profanities and making threats) to my parents and my wife, who were looking to pick up the trailer to finally get out of there, to the point where I had to the CALL THE POLICE to be there to witness me paying him money BEYOND what had been agreed upon so that he would not keep our vehicle/trailer and have to take the matter to court (which he mockingly told me would happen if I did not pay him and he held my property). I do not wish this EXPERIENCE on my WORST enemy!!

Paid for an exhaust pipe and tail pipe, front end tie rods, brake lines, brakes, ball joints and alignment. Estimate was $1150 for front end work. $200 for exhaust and tail pipe. $1350 total. This was on April 16 2020. Was paid in full in cash, never received exhaust, tailpipe, or front end alignment. Made 15 calls to his voicemail, refuses to call me back. Also lost a chrome center cap for one of my rims. Had to go to Wisconsin Muffler to have exhaust and front end alignment done. Cost me another $325, because without repairs from Nick's Garage, I could not drive my vehicle.

James Rommelfanger paid $1350 for service to his 1998 Ford Ranger. Exhaust work to be completed when part arrives. Signed by secretary ***. I signed underneath.
