Review: Went this this establishment to change a windshield on Saturday 12/*/13. They requested $100 deposit which we gave (earlier in the week). They asked us to come in as they had the windshield. We came in, they claimed to keep the glass at a remote location because it was an expensive glass. Waited at their shop for 3 hours and finally when a delivery came, the wrong glass was delivered. They claimed to order from another supplier and said it would be there in 2 hours. 2 hours later we came and nothing. They kept saying it will be right there and they would call. We called later in the day and there was no answer or reply to our voicemail. Spoke to him ([redacted]) on Monday (12/**/13) and he said he would call us back when the glass would come in. The long/short of it all is that we didn't get any calls and decided to go to another shop. We got the windshield fixed and on Wednesday and requested the $100 deposit back. They claimed that they couldn't give us the deposit b/c they paid for the glass already. Although he said he would show me the glass, I wanted to see the receipt and if he showed me the receipt, I would eat the $100. Of course there was no receipt shown as he never had the windshield. Later on, I was also told that he was operating without a license. Please look into these unscrupulous repair menThank youDesired Settlement: We would like our $100 back

Review: On 1/**/2015 I went to find out prices for a windshield for my vehicle. (2014 Lexus is 250) .

I spoke to one of the owners son([redacted] ) that assured me the Windshield would get fixed for a total of 240$ plus installation and it will be done the next day.

So I came back exactly the time [redacted] asked me and the windshield is not there. He has asked me to come couple hours back, so I have. And the windshield is still not there.

The following day 1/**/2015 I came back again to ask where is my windshield , and the shop is closed earlier then they usually close and revived a text from [redacted] saying he will have it the next day.

From 1/**/2015-1/**/2015 no body called me to tell me what's going on and I started getting concerned and wanted my money back. I kept coming back to the repair shop to try to speak to a manger or somebody with authority. The shop is run by 2 [redacted] employees that leave the shop for 10-15 min at a time unattended and come back smelling like liquor and can't even communicate in plain English , nor have money in the shop not even a single dollar to give change to a costumer. No [redacted] is ever available. And [redacted] , the one that kept texting me and saying the windshield is coming , his phone is shut off.

So on 2/*/2015 they called me back and told me to come on Monday 2/*/2015 to pick up my windshield. So I came and the [redacted] tells me it's on the way the [redacted] is coming. So I waited about 3 hours in the shop and no [redacted] is coming nor my windshield. So things escalated to me raising my voice to at least get my money back. Police was called to try to solve the problem. So they called the main boss which is [redacted] and he is not on his way and there was never a windshield to deliver . So now I got robed for 240$ , no windshield not anyone to speak to about this . The [redacted] has never responded back and there is nothing I can do.Desired Settlement: An apology from the business owner that lied about getting a product that he couldn't get and charged me money for it and I was waiting for over a week wondering non stop where is my windshield !! I want a cash refund issued to me for 240$ and the hassle and time I invested in waiting every single day and had to take off work several days to get an answer from nobody.

Review: I went to Nicks auto glass to change my back window on my 2016 Chrysler T&C, they said if I want after market on original , I told the I want original payed them for original, then I took the car trunk not closing I told them they said take it to dealer to reset the computer , so I took it to dealer they said that that has nothing to do with resetting the system, whoever change your window damage the sensors and the window is not original its after market that why trunk not closing, so I went back to Nicks auto glass they said go [redacted] we dint care they just exit me out no refunds no apology, when I told them im goin to complain on the one of the workers said your not the fist one. Thank YouDesired Settlement: I want then to get me original window or refund my money and fix my trunk or ill fix it and they should reimburse me my money. Thank You

Review: On 05/**/2015 I went into Nicky's Boys Auto Glass ([redacted] - ###-###-#### LIC#[redacted]) to get the rear glass on my car Repaired. I spoke to [redacted] and he told me it would cost $500 to repair. After agreeing, he said a $200 deposit would be needed to order the glass which would arrive the next day. The next day I came back and was told it will arrive in 30 mins and waited over 3 hours but nothing arrived. I went back in on May [redacted] and was told the same thing but still no glass. I went again on May [redacted] asking for a refund but was neither given the glass or a refund. I went again on May [redacted] demanding a refund or the glass and was given neither. Throughout the time I was at the shop, I saw countless other customers walking in with the same issue. This business should be shut down because he is stealing $ from consumers.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the money I paid to Nicky's Boys Auto Glass

Review: I needed a rear glass replaced on a 2009 Subaru forrester. Nicky's Boys said they would replace the rear windshield with a new original Subaru glass, instead they replaced it with an after market and charged me for a new original glass which there's about a $100.00 difference. When I went back to them I was told that it is original equipment glass but original equipment glass on a Subaru states on the back glass symmetrical all wheel drive. Which this glass does not have on it. To make matters worse when I pulled the tape off it had taken the paint off my back panel to which they denied doing. Whatever you can do to help me in this matter will be greatly appreciated.Desired Settlement: I would like to get at least the difference of about a $100.00 between the new original glass that they promised me and the after market glass that they sold me.

Review: On Dec, 2014.I had my windshield replaced at Nick's Auto Glass for the cost of $162.00, however the new windshield was defected. The windshield had waves in the glass and if felt like, if I was wearing prescription glasses. When, I visit Nick's Auto Glass, to report the issue, I was able to speak with [redacted] an I was told to call back in 2 days. After the first visit I kept on calling Nick's Auto Glass but they refuse to help me with windsheild, everytime I called or stop by they said that the boss wasen't there. After so many intended I have no choice but to take my car to [redacted] Where they changed the defected windshield for the price of $250.Desired Settlement: I would like Nick's Auto Glass to refund me for the full price of windshield because I tried so hard to work with them but Nick's just dosen't care about his customers.

Review: Nicky's Boys Auto Glass Inc. installed windshield for me on 09/**/2013 with lifetime warranty against leaks. The windshield started to leak around the edges. On 06/**/2014 I went to Nicky's Boys Auto Glass Inc. to have the leak fixed and they told me that they would charge to $25 to fix the issue with the stipulation that $25 will be refunded once I locate the original receipt and present it to the within 6 months from today's date which is 06/**/2015. I paid $25 and I went back to them an hour later and presented them the receipt. They refused to refund the refundable $25 which is stated on the receipt. I want my money back.Desired Settlement: Please refund $25.

Review: On July **, 2015 my wife brought our car in to have the side passengar window replaced. She was told to leave a $80 dollar deposit and the car would be ready the next day. After speaking with the shop everyday since then (today is the [redacted]), the car has not been fixed and they continue to lie to me everytime I call. On two occasions they told me to stop by the shop to pick up the car and when I showed up it was closed. Today I had to take off of work and drive to Brooklyn to pick up my car and take it to another shop. When I tried to get my refund of the $80 dollar deposit, I am given the run around and keep getting told to call back later. This in my opinion is no way to run a business. The window repair shop in question already has a horrible reputation in the neighborhood and now I know why after my experience. I cannot continue to take off of work and drive to the shop to receive the money they owe me. At one point the owner Chris claimed he ordered the glass from the dealer, however since it was never received when I picked up the car this morning, he can easily cancel it or send it back. I took the car to a shop around the corner from this one and the glass will be installed today. This business is a scam and robs people of their money. Something should be done.Desired Settlement: I believe at this point, any normal business establishment would return to me the $80 deposit and pay me for any expenses I have incurred in driving back and forth based on their lies.

Review: On 6/*/14 I came to the shop Nicky's Boys Auto Glass Inc. to fix left driver side mirror, was told to pay $100 deposit and promised that car will be fixed the next day. Not only the mirror was not replaced, [redacted] refused to give deposit back, stating on 6/**/14 he doesn't have the money to pay back. Obnoxious rip off. I am having car fixed elsewhere and would like deposit back along with apology for time spent driving to the shop on multiple occasions expecting my money back.Desired Settlement: Refund

Review: Car window needed replacement. They said they have to order it and needed $100 in advance which I paid. Next day I went they were closed then again the consecutive day they were closed. I was forced to go to the glass shop to put new window. Then again I went to them but the business failed to return the money even after consecutive tries. I wasted 3 to 4 hours everyday at the business location with no outcome. I also called the cops on them who told me to go to consumer affairs and complain about this business since many other customers had the similar issues with the business. I would like this business to cover not only the refund but also compensate me for the time I have spent in pursuing them.5Desired Settlement: $100 plus $1000 for failing to go to work
