I received your letter in the mail on Friday, September 16, 2016.My intention has been to introduce myself to the community as a professional piano teacher of over years experience I recently moved to Post Falls from Sherwood, OR where I maintained a full time private teaching studio for years The distribution of flyers is the most cost effective way to do this, especially since I am self-employed I have used a similar flyer to reach out to my teaching neighborhoods for years This is the first instance that anyone has found it to be problematic.Additionally, delivering a flyer into neighborhoods is a common business practice in Post Falls, ID Just this evening I received a flyer from a local pizzeria off of [redacted] in Post Falls, ID Another lady in our neighborhood also reported that contractors in the area left literature at her house two weeks ago I wonder if [redacted] also reported all of other businesses (who hired someone to flyer the community) to the Revdex.com.The young man who delivered the flyers is not an employee, and it only took him 3-days to fulfill the contract Yet, I took the time to suggest that he not leave a flyer on any door with a no trespass sign, and never to knock on a door Evidently he did not see such a sign near [redacted] ’s door Again, our goal was not to disturb the neighborhood, and to leave a good impression In fact, I gave the young man piano coloring pages and crayons to offer to the children he met along the way.Additionally, this was not a sales visit If anyone calls me back with an interest in lessons, then I explain my teaching methods and set up initial meetings Even then, I do not push my business, as it is an educational endeavor If the parents call me back a second time and fill out a schedule request form, then a contracted relationship is established.Part of the challenge is that it is difficult for families to find excellent private music teachers Schools don’t keep vendor lists, and people don’t know where else to look for a teacher Flyers make it possible for them to find a specialist like myself.Since I have no professional relationship to [redacted] , I offer my sincerest apologies for the fact that he felt intruded upon I suggest that instead of asking for one dollar in damages, that I can do better I offer to take his property address off of the neighborhood flyer map to avoid likelihood that my flyer be found on his property in the future Yet, the practice of delivering a flyer may be necessary in order to maintain a viable piano teaching business in Post Falls, ID.Thanks for reading,

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
I am aware of other Post Falls residents who have "no soliciting" signs on their premises To litter advertisements on such premises is not only an unacceptable business practice, it constitutes a trespass $in nominal damages is a minimum recompense for such illegal behavior
